Who's been watching them!? I haven't .__. Aside from clips and stuff online (LOL Seiggy and I are so lame, we have no cable tv) But I've been trying to keep up to date with what's going on. I got all excited because the last I heard, our Women's Hockey (Canada) dominated....which doesn't at all surprise me, they're SCARY. Also last I heard was Men's hockey Canada was playing Slovakia and for some reason no one in any of my contacts mentioned after the game who won. BUT WE DID. WHICH MEANS CANADA VS. U.S. HOCKEY! AGAIN! We have a kickass team (which isn't being utilized properly >>; ), but alas, the U.S. has the friggen' SCARIEST goalie ever. I think that makes this pretty even. Exciting, no? 8)

I know how you feel although our TV still gives it out despite not having cable. But yes, I watch them every night. When it came to the Summer Olympics our neighbors ACTUALLY complained because we were yelling so loud but for the Winter Olympics it has been more like grid your teeth and hope they win.
I'm hoping the US wins hockey... but that's because I've missed every other time the US has won a gold.

LOL it's the complete opposite for me with the Summer Olympics XDD;;; See, Winter I sit back and go "LOL Canada's doing a good job--AS ALWAYS." Summer Olympics comes around and it's like ".....OH GOD WE SUCK...*curls up in a corner*" This hockey game should be pretty close, though. The last one definitely was (we lost to the U.S. by what, 2 points or something?). Ooooooh~~~ I won't be able to watch it unless I a.) go sit in a pub and watch it (and really, I don't want to sit in there for 3+ hours...) or b.) go to my family's place and watch it XD; Hmmmm....I should see if my family is going to get together to watch it at home. But overall the U.S. has been doing incredibly well medal-wise. They've gotten the most. We've gotten more gold than they have, but counting medals in general they've gotten more ^^

I have been following the Olympics, especially hockey. the women's team is doing great. But the mens team is going to have one tough game against the USA....

his come back is the following
"Your just lucky their's no drunken brawling or we'd walk all over you, and we don't need medals to prove we're amazing"
what a beast xD

Drunken brawling? Irish... we don't need Drunken Brawls to enforce anything. Canadians have always been the Masters of SOBER Close Quarters Combat...

first of all; LOL second; I am also Irish.. not sure how much, but I am. and of course, Patrick, our bet is still on. But you still need to think of something to hold up your end if (when) Canada loses the game >=D

I believe Canada will do fairly well at this game! ^^ Well enough that I don't think the U.S. should get too cocky about it and celebrate a premature victory...
