Ok, so, the Sorceress Power that Malice uses is in and of itself a massive source of magic that is almost unparalleled in potency and power. Having this power gives one the ability to cast a vast array of magic, anything from formal spells to magical fix-its. A sorceress can draw on the specialties of a past sorceress should the need arise, but the process involves going into a trance and requires much practice.
A Few Previous Sorceresses and their Powers
Ellone- had the ability to send one's consciousness into the past the change or relive a past event they had experienced.
Adel- Known as a conqueror. Started the Sorceress Wars. Possessed the ability to incite discord wherever she pleased. Not a nice lady.
Edea- The Sorceress of Harmony. Opposed Adel in the Sorceress Wars and won at the expense of her own life.
Rinoa- The Angelic Sorceress. Ushered in an age of peace and growth after the end of the Sorceress Wars. Possessed the ability to call on divine powers.
Ultimecia- A sorceress from the future that sought to compress time and create a world in which only she could exist. Obvioulsy did not succeed.
Yuna- Known for her ability to summon great and powerful creatures. Her power diminished after her love died.
Amalthia- The sorceress before Malice. She could manipulate all forms of energy. Possibly the most powerful sorceress thus far.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands of sorceresses have existed before these, but their names were not recorded in history...
