Kain jumped over a pile of rocks landing expertly on the ground with almost no sound to his leap. "Everto, Grey, come on already. It's not much longer till we reach the shard."
Kain said as he stepped forward, he wasn't too worried about the heroes being here. He predicted that they're likely preparing to protect the daughter of Solaris and not trying to stop them from getting the shards which if it was true that meant everything was going right with his plans.

Grey leaped down the mountain giving a heavy, tired sigh.
"Oh boy... I'm so depressed." Grey said leaning on Kain's shoulder but quickly stepping away knowing he would be bumped off, "You know why, Kain, Everto?"

Kain sighed at Grey's complaining, "Grey I know why you're depressed and I don't want to hear it. Really. You've lost to him now shut up about it."
Kain said jumping onto a bigger boulder to look around, the shard was around here.

Grey sighed, "Fine... so, what are we looking for-" suddenly Grey lost his footing and fell right into a cavern, "HOLY SH-" swam! He hit the bottom with a loud thump, "Huh... it looked deeper from when I was falling."
He sat up brushing himself off, "Come on down guys, hurry!"

"We were looking for that," he said with a smile before leaping off into the crack in the Earth, "Come on, Everto. It shouldn't be much further."

Everto looked down at the crack before making a single bound down, he slammed into the ground creating a cloud of dust. He was seemly unhurt by the high fall.
"What are we looking for?"

"A shard, no bigger then your fist." Kain explained why carefully traversing the rocks in his way. "It should be noticeable for when great powers draw near it, it reacts by shoving out it's own."

"It is it's instinct's, like it is for a mother to protect it's child. It tries to use it's own force to drain the others to the point of death. That way it can remain here in it's home." Kain said feeling around some rocks, a forceful energy started to pound against him, "Everto, take down this wall."

"That..." Grey stepped up from behind Kain, "I could take care of it. I haven't been able to use my powers in awhile and I'm getting bored."
Without waiting for Kain to say 'okay' he charged a ball of what it looked to be air, but was actually something much worse. Suddenly he threw the ball forward and it crashed through the wall.
"Success!" Grey yelled slamming his fist into his other hand.

Kain stepped past the hole Grey made, "Grey. You know when you use your powers you put us in danger?"
Kain asked as he he scanned the tunnel the hole had led to, walking over he smiled and reached up digging out a shard that was glowing bright. It was trying to sap the energy of the strong Saints. Kain simply covered the shard with his own power to block it defensive ability. "We have the shard, let's go."
