So I just got back from seeing, KickAss, which is a pretty good movie all in all. I say all in all as it had a few things in it that I though kinda detracted from the initial mood it presented, but that's just me being nit-picky, something I'm well know for when it comes to movies. Anyway, after watching the movie, my mind suddenly just focused onto Superheroes and now I can't get 'em out out of my head. So, I'm tossing a call out to all my comic book reading, movie watching brethren out there to give a shout out to your favourite superhero and to give us a reason why you find them so, dare I say, kick-ass. ;D This one's going out to my main man, the Amazing Spiderman. Now I'm not talking about just any Spiderman though, I'm referring to the one from the old Amazing Spiderman Comics, either that or the one from the cartoon from the mid 1990's. He was awesomely acrobatic, which was always cool to see when he was swinging around or fighting, and he always had this sharp, joking wit about him. That combined with how they made Peter a moderately sorrowful character but took due diligence not to make him winey just made him a really well designed character and a really cool superhero. So there's my shout out. Come on everyone, join in the fun! Help prove to me that I'm not the only one nerdy enough to do this kinda thing.

Batman, 'nuff said. He's got the cool gadgets, the deep character, and best of all the villains. After all, a superhero is only as exciting as the villains he faces, and it's hard to reference anything with better and more frightening foes than what Batman has. I loved him as far back as the WB cartoon from the 90s and I love him in his newest movies and stuff.

Batman. Hands down. Just...Batman. As John says, he's got the gadgets, he's got the skills, hell he's the world's greatest detective! Arkham Asylum was the best game of Batman to bring all of what he's best at, and brings back the actors from the animated show I used to love.
So yes, Batman, hands down. Although to give the Marvel heroes a fair chance Iron Man will be the second contender.
Hey Bang, is KickAss as awesome as it looks? I really really really want to see that movie.

The movie is very awesome. The more I thought about it, the movie is really a very delicate balancing act between a tongue and cheek, slice of life kinda comedy, and this kinda bleak and, at points, Tarintino-esque action movie, but in the end, it's a really good film and I wholeheartedly recommend that you go watch it.

He's more of an Anti-Hero. But I choose Spawn for obvious reasons.. *cough*lookscoolandisabaddas*cough*

Kick Ass was an awesome movie. It's just come out on DVD, hasn't it? I actually would consider owning that one. I like the parts that focus more on Kick Ass's character, though; Big Daddy and Hit Girl, while interesting, didn't capture me in the same way that the titular hero did. But that's just because I could relate to him more, I suppose. In terms of favorite superheroes... Batman is one, because I grew up with him. Rorschach is another, because he is just awesome. I could really rant on and on about why he's awesome, but I'll save that for another time.
