Now here's something I haven't done in awhile. Granted, I did this as some concept artwork for a comicbook script I'm writing. I had started it off for Script Frenzy back in April and managed to get to 50/100 pages, though I've kept writing it since then. I'd like to see it eventually get finished.
I've had this kind of drawing style in my head for several weeks and every time I've tried to use it I've done nothing but...not quite "fail" but it didn't work out. Every time however I took a little from it and eventually found this afternoon I was able to make it work. Here, some characters:
Rachelle Dumont - if she looks like a wench then good, she's supposed to be one. Though she's fun to draw I've found. This is the best I've done of her so far.
Hala Fraus, with which I got very lazy with. I was far too focused on her face/hair than anything in this. I'm quite enjoying her hair being curly in random places like that.
Vincent Loque, and by far the best Vincent I've EVER drawn. I have a thing for drawing really girlie-looking men (even if I give them huge muscles) for some reason, which is why it was almost impossible to ever draw Vincent. He is not girlie. This drawing style helped a lot (and damn is he built) but I've learned that his hair is like Andy's in the sense that it is a science to master.
I still don't even have it perfect in this. He also looks a little younger than he should though in the comic he's supposed to be between 16-25 anyway.
Melanie...who hasn't a last name yet >>; She's not part of the comic. I just drew her because I was wanting to get a look going for her.
'Cause unbeknownst to some, this girl appears to be Vincent's new girlfriend.
If you're going "tl;dr" at that, then never fear I'll be doing a thread relatively soon that'll clearly show it.
Now if she's looking really young then uh...good. She's supposed to be. She's like, half Vincent's age...hehehe...
All I have for now. Those who have me on DeviantART I'm posting up the whole set as one page in just a few minutes.
