Ok so my scanner broke GAYGAYGAYGAYGAY which is a bit gay. So instead being my awesomely cool self I used the 2.0 megapixel camera on my phone... .__.

Anyways down to business, Alot of my artistic obsession spans from Japan, Things such as Katanas, Spears etc etc, so I decided to take a more peaceful route today, I was talking to a friend who condemmened my evil nasty weapons and said 'Dude, you should so totally do something nice' So I went hunting for Japanese Symbols! >;]

Anyways they have the word written under them so you should be able to make sense of them, Also I'll be uploading my picture of the 'Little Emo Kid' I found on the internet x)





You know now that I look at it, the Dream one is very poor compared to the Love one .__.

I think it's pretty cool, being a bit of the ethnicity myself. I never learned my kanji that well when it comes to symbols: I was always an Americanized Japanese learner: (Ya know, word instead of symbol). But I do like the straightness and clean way you did the Love symbol: The dream one does look a little jagged, but its only the bottom part of the symbol which is hard to recreate with ease. Still looks cool.

Hah no worries. It takes awhile to make an outlined version of a kanji symbol: Its not like those ancient writers who use black tar paint and fingerpaint it. XD;

And pshh. I know, I gotta distribute it, but I'm having debates. I mean, it's just such a badass sig right? |D

I'm surprised you tried to do a contour of the words ; that'd be an ultimate pain in the ass. I tried to put together the Bushido code for Johnathan for Christmas last year using the rice paper, bamboo brush and ink and all and when I did it was hard, but seriously much easier than when I tried to do it with just a pencil. Well, easier when you figured out the brush strokes. In proper order.

But anyway, the love one does look better than the dream, though you have to remember that 'dream' has some of those more trickier lines that'll make or break the image =/

Yeah the dream one has that annoying little diamond shape thing at the bottom ._.

Anyways, I placed them all onto a plain facemask which was supposed to look badass and ninja'y but I looked at it and the same friend who suggested these said "IT NEED A TASH" so yeah I killed it with facial hair.

Now it looks like something someone from V for Vendetta would wear x)

I planned on going for the whole shebang and try it with accurate brush strokes but my pad isn't the thickest in the world and I'dve wasted about 3 or 4 sheets of paper doing it plus the order of the strokes matters greatly and I wasn't planning on wasting lots of paper for nothing, and now I can't find my phone to take a picture of mah lil emo kid ._.
