I just had to share this with everyone; I saw this on the news and Yahoo! News put the clip from ABC on their website. Michael Brewer was a high-schooler who was set on fire by bullies and had burns over sixty-five percent of his body. He went through horrible pain, agonizing recovery therapy, and he just went to the first day of a new school. had the courage to get up out of bed and face the day. It's totall amazing. He's only a year younger than I am. Here's the story - it's a video: news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625/burned-michael-brewer-gets-his-life-back-21542645

Yeah? And this is why people need to learn how to fight their battles properly. Not run away, not hide behind people.
Though at the same time not be stupid, either. Something everyone can learn from.

Dealing with bullies is a two way street, fight or flight. Not one of them is the set way, not all of them work. We do what we can and hope it works.

LOL this is true, unless you're me who's hell convinced that every time my way will work XD;
And hilariously enough, most times it did. But that's because I turned out to be more evil than my bullies =p Those wimps.

That is the most badass imagery Ive gotten from real life. XD;
My own experience with bullies was usually that they'd come along, I'd stand up, we'd faceoff, and never fight, and suddenly, the next month/year, we'd be friends.
Life works in strange ways.

Bullies don't bother me much anymore, but they used to all the time. I got beat up a lot in daycare during third grade efore my mom pulled me out.
But, I don't really think this story is amazing because of ullies or whatever, I think it's amazing because even after this experience, that kid can get up and face the first day at a new school; heck, that he even had the will to live.
And it's amazing all the people who were there for him, even if they didn't personally know him.
