Alexander looked horribly lost. What had just happened? They were all chatting just a moment ago, everyone being nice and all, and suddenly Seigmand had decided they had to leave?
Wait...Seigmand decided it? How was that even fair?
"But..." Alexander argued as Seigmand turned and began walking away, "...but she doesn't even know...does she? Seigmand, wait! I don't want to go yet, if she knows where the artefacts are why can't she help us?!"

Seigmand turned to the young king, his arms crossed and every inch of him body language shouting 'Don't argue with me'.
"She has made it abundantly clear that she's not going to help us Alex. I don't think there's any point in talking with her further, don't you? Now I think it would be rude to keep the rest of our group waiting and we have much to do today." His eyes narrowed with an icy glare, further reinforcing the fact that he wasn't going to argue it anymore.

'Well I think there is a point in talking more with her - I want to know how she actually knows Trucido!'
The thoughts screamed back at Seigmand's body language, but of course they would never be heard. Alexander had mentioned the name, and the way Miri reacted made him think she knew something - and though Alexander himself knew little, he at least knew for fact that Miri wasn't part of the Sumata.
Which meant she'd have a different opinion on Trucido and he wanted to know more about him through others' eyes.
But perhaps it was best to avoid talking with the mysterious woman further as Seigmand said, if for a completely different reason than the one Seigmand had suggested; Alexander's actions ceased merely because Seigmand was aggravating him. If it was one thing Alexander could not stand, it was when his father commanded anything of the boy.
It was even worse when someone else besides his father did so. He bit his lip, clenched his fists tightly at his sides and let out a deep and loud breath. He relaxed himself for a brief moment to turn to Miri, giving a respectful nod and a "Good-day, my dear Miri - I wish you luck on your mission to guard this Earth."
And then he turned quickly on his heel and pushed past Seigmand.

Seigmand watched as the Alexander walked past in a huff, almost shaking his head at the boy as he vanished from sight.
"Hm, he's got a lot to learn. Maybe being king will be best for him." He said aloud, more to himself than Miri. Turning back to face the winged woman he looked her over for a moment before a crafty thought entered his head. "Well Miri, it was nice to meet you. As Alex said best luck on your duties. Remember though, when you scower the world looking for wrongdoers sometimes the biggest leads are right under your nose." He said, taking time to pause and emphasize the last few words. With that he spun around before she could get another word in and took off. Coming up on the hotel he took one very deliberate step, something that would appear like he might have tripped and landed hard to stop from falling over. The only people who would know better was him and Miri. For on the hard concrete that laid right in front of Miri were two words clearly imprinted on the pavement.
Niagara Falls.
He couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He hadn't hoped to find anyone strong enough to help him on Earth, and if everything worked out she'd be clever enough to piece together what exactly the simple message meant. Seigmand made a mental note to come back in a few minutes to erase the mark as he went back to the hotel, taking a moment to enjoy the view outside.

Niagra Falls, she thought, interested. I wonder if that's where they're going..... it seems these people have a traitor in their midst.
His words struck her - right under her nose. She smiled. This will be interesting....
Spreading black wings, she flew off into the night sky.
