"That is right, It should be ahead of us... there!" He said as he pointed to the slightly lit tunnel. "The wind mus have blow the other torches out..."

"Sounds good to me," Vincent answered as he went to whirl his sword around--a good blast of fire would totally light the torches back up.
Vincent's sword glowed slightly as he spun it over and hacked the ground hard with it, an incredible burst of fire charging through the tunnel ahead of them. Vincent grinned as the mine was lit again. If anyone was in the way, too, they'd have been scorched badly.

"Ok, now according to the map, there is a slide we have to do down, so are you prepared?" He asked Vincent as he pressed the green sword into the lance.

Vincent shrugged.
"I'm ready for anything--lead the way."

Yeligar smiled as they walked to the hole. "Last on down is a rotten egg!" He said as he hopped into the hole.

Vincent blinked as Yeligar leaped into the hole.
"....Seriously? Are we really playing it like this?!"
He quickly jumped in after Yeligar, following him and trying to keep a close watch for any soldiers yet.

Yeligar smiled as he slide down the tunnel. "Well, faster we are down there, the faster we are out of here." He said as he prepared for an attack. "How did you lose the eye?"

Vincent followed suit, having his sword at the ready. He winced as Yeligar brought up his eye.
"I went into Alberisato, trying to sneak a way into that blasted Mother Tree out there because I hear rumors of a weapon of sorts hiding in there. The queen out there caught me and her captain cut up my eye good. I then killed her," Vincent's face hardened and his tone turned dark then, "turns out that captain was Queen Lilith's sister. She then killed my wife in return. In the end, sir, my eye loss isn't nearly as hurtful as what it has become a symbol of--my own stupidity, and the cruel flames of war."

"Hala is dead?" He asked him. He knew her as a woman that hated him because he did not plan out that mission to a T. "...I am sorry for your lost." He said as he landed, he looked around. "Looks clear."

Vincent waved his hand dismissively at Yeligar.
"No point in moping about it. There's a war still going on," Vincent said as he gave a glance around the tunnel as well.
"It's this way, right?" he quickly threw in, desperately trying to change the subject. He didn't want to get distracted, especially when in the enemy's territory. Vincent kept his sword at his side and cautiously headed down the tunnel.

"Yea, but be careful, they probably have traps set up." He said as followed him. He held his lance close to him, ready to strike at anytime.

Vincent suddenly sidestepped around an oddly-shaped pebble, shining slightly with a metallic tone.
"You mean like that one?" Vincent chuckled after the fact, that could have been a pretty ugly scene had he tripped it. He kept light-footed and followed even deeper into the mine, eventually they came close to a small fork in the road. Vincent slowed his pace and listened carefully for other signs of life down both tunnels.
"I think I hear something, sir, but it's hard to tell whether they're coming from the right or the left. I'm thinking the left, really--which way was it to the metal, though?"

"Hmmm. It you say left, then left it is." He said as he headed into the left tunnel. He looked around, making sure of any traps. He saw a trip wire and hopped over it. "Wire here." He pointed to the wire.

Vincent took note and avoided the trap that Yeligar had pointed out and continued down the tunnel. He was right, there seemed to be ahead of them a large amount of activity to be heard further down. Vincent hugged close to a wall and slowed his steps before turning his head to Yeligar.
"Alright. I think we're getting closer to the stash itself, sir. I don't know your map, I've only seen it like, once. The guys we're hearing I think could very well be guarding what's hoarded in the mines..."

"Here." He said as he handed the map to him. "You are right, the guards are in the way... We need to take them out either all at once, or one by one, quietly. What would you like to do?"
