Vincent blinked, he wasn't used to Yeligar asking him what to do.
"A-are you sure, sir? I mean, I suppose if you can see how many guys are out there we could probably take them all at once. The storage is just behind them..."

"Well... What if you and I combine our fire power, and send a large fireball at the. If we hit the closest guard, it should take them all out with minimum damage to the goods. You think you are up for it?" He asked Vincent as he pressed a red blade into the lance.

"And then if something goes wrong and we get stuck in here, at least we're supplied with barbecue for awhile," Vincent morbidly joked despite keeping a straight face, readying his sword that started to glow faintly with an orange flame, "so how are we doing this? Hit them with all we've got at the same time?"

"Yep, simple as that." He said as he looked at Vincent. His lance had a glow like the sun. A white fireball was forming at the end of his lance, "Put the tip in your sword in the ball, and it should make it stronger."

"Alright then..." Vincent focused his energy into the sword and did as he was told, touching the sharp tip of the sword to the glowing ball that readied to attack the unsuspecting (hopefully) men in the mines.
"Ready whenever you are," he grinned.

"Alright." He said as he aimed at the area, then he fired the ball. It went towards the biggest guard and hit him. The explosion hit the other guards, sending them into the wall, and every which way. Yeligar quickly got up and ran inside. "They are down. Quickly, get as much as you can!" He said as he started to shovel the metal into a few sack he had.

"Got it."
Vincent ran in, leaping over the bodies that lay stunned on the ground and began to wildly stuff the sacks with the large hunks of metal. This place was filled...no wonder they had it so heavily guarded. Obviously it wasn't guarded enough as the two men (as cool as they were) tore through the mine and loaded up on all the treasures they could find. Vincent finished tying up one of his last few bags as he called over to Yeligar with a wave of his hand.
"I've just about got it--how about you?"

"I am just about done." He said as he place a large chuck of iron in the pouch. "Ok, let us go!" He said as he picked up his lance and ran out of the cave.

"Great!" Vincent replied, throwing his own bags over his shoulders and following Yeligar out. He grinned to himself as he thought about how much good this was going to be for them and the heroes. Or if anything, maybe it'd just mean money for them to use to enhance their team. Ooooh...

"Remember there are traps that are still active." He said as he hopped over a wire. It was a bit harder, because of the extra weight.

Vincent chuckled.
"No worries, I'm as careful as can--"
And then he tripped the wire that Yeligar just jumped over. He glanced at it, and in the split second he had to react before the trap activated he said only one word, and very calmly at that.
"Crap."

The wire had tripped a door from behind them, making going back impossible. The front gate looked like it was messed up, but it was coming down slowly. "Vincent, come on, the door is closing, and we had to make it!" He said as he pick him up. He looked behind them, and saw that it was filling up with water.

Vincent, with Yeligar's help leaped to his feet and stole a quick glance to the tunnel filling with water. He twisted his lip in disappointment and turned on his heel, running off with Yeligar towards the closing gate.
"Moving! And moving fast!" he announced as they barrelled straight for the door, half-way closed. As they got closer, he grinned, it was like in the older days when they tried escaping enemy forts and caves. They'd try to lock them in, but Yeligar and Vincent were too cool for that, always barely managing to slide right under the door at the last moment.
Very much like they were going to do now.

Yeligar saw Vincent, and he knew what they needed to do. He began the slid-under-door routine, but when he fell to his side, he landed on bag of metal. "CRAP!" He said as he rolled to his back, and rubbing the hip, "I think the metal punctured the side." He looked at his hand, which was slightly covered in blood.

Vincent didn't have any better luck, dropping and sliding...sliding...
And stopping halfway under the door. His eyes widened slightly as the door came down right above his waist, and he used all of his strength to swing the bottom half of his body back inside with Yeligar, just half seconds before the heavy door came to a close. He immediately got to his feet and checked Yeligar's side.
"So...you're bleeding and I was almost crushed by the door. I'd say we're having pretty good luck--by the way, do you remember how to swim?" He said rather calmly as he looked down, water starting to gather around their feet.
