Reminds me of journeying with the others... food and shelter were always welcome stops, back then. Now that I'm a teenager, it's no different. Man, I wonder what everyone's doing right now? Goggleboy's probably worried, knowing him... He shook his head. It wasn't the time to reminisce.

Vaan listened to the two of them, smiling as they spoke of a world he'd never seen. "We're almost there," he told them as a small town appeared on the horizon. "And there's good food there," he promised. He'd only been there once, but it came with the highest recommendations from Milady, who made a hobby out of eating human food.

He sighed. "I don't know. I'm searching for my twin brother, and... something else. I know it sounds stupid..."
The power had been in Santo-Luce before they'd all headed to Earth. He was sure of that, just as sure as he was now that it was no longer there. He'd tracked it to Ignis, but couldn't figure out where in the blasted country it was.

Faeylinn shrugged. "Maybe we can help you find your brother. If you don't mind the company, I mean..." She glanced up at Vaan again, checking to see if he minded her volunteering them both.

"Kouichi," he said, relieved that the two had decided to help him. "Kouichi Kimura. He's my twin brother, so he looks exactly like me, except he keeps his hair short." The corner of his mouth twitched up. When Goggleboy had first seen Kouichi in a vision, he'd thought it was Kouji.

"Alright, I'll keep that in-" He stopped dead in his tracks and turned to Kouji. "Wait. Kouichi?" he asked, incredulous. "As in, Captain Princel's Kouichi?" He didn't believe it.

Kouji stopped as well. "You know Lana?!" he asked, glaring. "Not just Lana, but you call her 'Captain Princel'. You told me you weren't Sumata." His hand was poised above hsi staff. He saw the girl kiss Vaan, but he still kept ready, no matter how confused he was.

She saw Kouji's hand above his staff, like he was ready to fight. "Who's Lana and Captain Princel?" She tightened her grip on Vaan's hand, unsure.
