Trucido was digging.... again. He has been digging all over Crepusculum, looking for the relics that he needed for the Sumatas. So far, only one spot he dug had a vase. There was only one in there, so he still need to look for more vases. He had a good feeling at this spot, a small, long peninsula. He started to dig from the end surrounded by water. "Please, be here." He said, as he started to dig.

Having managed to escape her grandmother's clutches for a while, Jasmine set forth to do a little training by herself. She was going to have to at some point or another anyway, and dammit she was going to do her best to become good at this spirit channelling thing...even if the things she were seeing at the moment haunted her in her dreams <--the downside to all of this.
She stopped in her tracks as she heard an odd...digging sound? She knew she was supposed to hear water, but not the 'clump' 'clump' clump' of dirt. Jasmine was going to ignore it until she saw the only too-familiar look of a red suit. Granted, it had been...wayyyyyyy long ago when she saw it, but she could never forget the owner of it--Trucido.
Her eyes widened for a second. What was she going to do? What was he doing? What if she went for help and he got away? What if she approached him and he killed her? ...What if he killed her anyway? Realizing it could very well be a losing situation either way, Jasmine swallowed hard and tried to sneak up on him, hoping to spy a little on him to see what exactly he was up to.
She just didn't know how close she could get behind him without getting caught. She was actually quite bad at eavesdropping...

"Hmmm, since I am here alone, I might as well shout my plan!" Trucido said a loud. "Isn't that what you want me to do, little lady?" He turned and looked at Jasmine, "It has been a while since I ran into a hero."

Jasmine blinked, taking a step back.
"If it means anything at all, sir, I was actually more hoping to see what it was you were looking for in the dirt..."
You had to be honest, right? Sorta. Jasmine shook her head.
"All the same...it certainly has been awhile. I'll be surprised if your tango with Mark on Earth didn't taint your image as a fearful antagonist, especially with your colleagues."

"Why do I have to have in stow fear with my colleagues?" He asked her. "If I lost the fear... that is good! Make my enemies easier to kill. And why would you want to look in the dirt? You are a peasant, no threat, nor should worry on what I am doing over here." He continued digging.

Jasmine furrowed her brow at Trucido's comments.
"I'm not a peasant! Papa was a very valuable part of the army, and my mother raised me into a fine sage. I am a spiritually devout, and a vessel for my gods--a spiritual servant, if you will. A divine healer...a sage," Jasmine responded, almost losing herself in her thoughts for a moment before she readied herself for...a battle?
"Regardless of any of that, I'm more of a threat than you think, sir. I'm better now than I was before, I have the gods on my side."

Trucido placed the shovel in the ground, and slapped his cheeks, "OH GEEZ, REALLY?!? I SHALL GROVEL AT YOUR FEET! OH NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO!?" He said before he started to laugh. "Oh, because you sided with some of the heroes, you think you are a hero." He walked towards her, and pulled out his sword, and pointed right between her eyes. "Fine, I will officially declare you are hero.... or, at least...." He said as he lowered his sword to her waist. "A hero from the waist down. "

Jasmine's brow twitched as Trucido laughed at her. Why was it whenever she decided to grow a backbone and be brave, it never worked out?! All the same, this one time was one too many, the last that made Jasmine grumble under her breath.
"And what is that supposed to mean!? You better take me seriously, I'm not a 'hero' simply because I follow Andy around and help him--I'm more than that, I know this because I've learned that it's in my blood! I'm more than just a help or whatever object you're trying to imply that I am!"

"In what world could you ever beat me?" He asked as he put his sword away "....instead of trying to kick my ass, how about you get your ass home and make Andy his dinner? He's probably waiting" He leaned on shovel and started to laugh. HARD.

Jasmine's face turned a deep red then. She clenched her fists tightly at her sides, shaking angrily as she tried to think of what to do...what to say...
Why should she even bother trying to think of anything? The only way this was going to stop was if she did something, and most likely something unexpected.
Which is why Jasmine then charged forward at Trucido with her little fists raised, screaming, "I'm tired of men not taking me seriously!!!!"

Trucido smiled, and raised his sword to block her little fists of fury. "Why? Prove to me, that I need to take you seriously? Because you can become a puppet for other people? You will always be used."

Jasmine had to pull back quickly unless she was hoping to have her hands cut off. She breathed heavily, bit her lip and then took a few steps back. She still shook, and a dangerous look flared in her eyes as she brought her right hand up mid way and snapped her fingers once. Her heavy spellbook obediently leaped from her bag by her side and hovered in the air by Jasmine, anxiously waiting its 'instructions'.
Keeping her eyes on Trucido, brow twitching furiously, the pages of Jasmine's book flipped of their own accord until they stopped nearly halfway through the book. She glanced only briefly to the page it landed on, its ancient text hard to read from the distance she was standing at, but she was able to make out the spell she needed.
Pointing her hand out gracefully to Trucido, she finally answered, "I am not a puppet! Duvolga atoi!"
The ground rumbled for a moment, seemingly like a snake-like object slithered around in a perfect circle around Trucido, underneath him. It suddenly stopped...and then a massive sphere of light exploded from right underneath the man.

As the light faded, Trucido was not there. His sword as resting at the base of her neck. "Not bad, but please, do other spells. No light spell. Mark fired them too much, and they do not effect me." He said to her. He moved the sword, and cut down on her left arm. "Still want to be a hero?"

Jasmine's eyes widened as the sword was brought to her neck. She screamed as the sword cut down her arm and she pulled it in close to her side, the blood running down it and staining her robe.
She backed away again, wanting to run but knowing that if she did it'd only make him happy. So rather, she pulled her right hand back and went to directly attack him again.
"Duvol rudney!"
In comparison to Annabelle's fire-based attacks, Jasmine's was quite weak. Then again, she was only a newbie at this. A single burst of fire erupted from her fingertips and threw itself directly at Trucido and from there she waited and tried to think of her next attack.

Trucido was surprised at her spell, and was blindsided with it. He fell into the water. He walked out of the river, and pointed his sword at her. "Better, but was weak." He said as he ran towards her. He swung down at her. "Want me to do a spell?"
