Caramel looked around uneasily. This place was unlike any she had ever seen before.
She looked back at the portal she had just stepped through, leading to this strange world, but to her horror, it vanished. "Ohhhh not good." She said to herself, looking around. Her ears went back, and her fur prickled. There was an unfortunate rule her kind had when it came to creating portals. In order for one to create a portal, they had to know where they were and where they were going. She knew where she wished to go, but as for where she was, she hadn't a clue.
It wasn't so much a rule, as it was obligatory, but all the same, until she found out where she was, there was no way of getting home.
Chanting in a strange language, she summoned a torch, and with her free hand, it lit up, with a zap. This place was getting dark, she hadn't brought any weapons, and she knew there would be no one to save her if she got into trouble, as no one knew where she was. Her magic was all she had. She began walking, wondering what she might run in to.
She wondered if the stories about humans were true. She had never met a human personally, but this was a strange realm indeed. Anything could happen.

Tempest was sleeping on a random cloud, just floating anywhere, when he snapped his eyes open. Something was wrong. He rolled over to push himself up, not realizing that he had just rolled off the cloud. There was a weird moment when he felt weightless. What the... He looked down and saw the islands of Unda. GAH! Not again! Then he started falling. He didn't bother screaming, this was his 74th time doing this since leaving the planes of Tuono behind. He curled his body into a ball. The cloud he was just on turned a dark color, and a blast of lightning came down and enveloped him. Anywhere land-ish. He thought. The lightning shot down. The next thing he knew, he was laying on his back, looking up at the sky and feeling someone close to where he lay.

Having heard a loud noise behind her, Caramel's ears went back and her fur fluffed up. She spun around frantically. "Whos there?!" She demanded, her eyes darting around in the darkness.
Her eyes widened as she saw the figure descend from the sky, and she wasn't sure if she should keep her distance or wander closer.
"Um....Hello?" She asked, waiting first for a response before deciding if he was a threat or not.

The only thing Tempest could hear was a ringing noise that had accompanied him every time he fell. Tempest groaned and rolled over. He went to his knees and came face to face with Caramel, startling him. "Gah!" Tempest rolled away and stopped on all fours. His face was still in a state of shock.

Caramel jumped away at almost the same time, as she was also startled and feeling a bit of shock herself. She chanted quickly and summoned a purple translucent force field, which glowed slightly. She ducked behind it for a few moments, before realizing that she probably looked silly. She stood up, and retracted the spell, which caused the force field to dissapear, and she tilted her head curiously at him.
"Are you....a human?" She asked a little awkwardly. She had never seen one before, and he was a little strange looking.... well to her anyway.

"Uhhh... " How should he answer to this question? "Yea... yeah. Are-are you... " Tempest had no idea. "Are you a fox-human?"

"I'm a cat!" She answered, then turned to look at her short fluffy tail. "Well... a Pixiebob. But I'm not human at all! I'm a cat!" She announced, crossing her arms. Her statement was a little redundant, but she was not in a clear state of thinking at the moment.
She was indeed half human, or an anthropomorphic being, but such knowledge was not known to her, as she had never been confronted with this situation before.
Feeling a little braver, She wandered closer to Tempest and squatted down beside him to get a better look. "I've never seen a human before....." She said quietly.

Tempest was still on his hands and knees when the... cat-person walked close to him, apparently checking him out. He stood up, just passing 6 feet. "Well, I've never seen a... poxiebob? Your pretty short, too." Tempest took a step back and laughed nervously. He had once been kicked by a small boy playing Hero when Tempest said he was short. "Not that there's anything wrong with that, heh." he hastily added.

She also stood up, reaching only 5 feet when she did so, which was a little more than a foot shorter than he was.
"I guess we're in the same boat then." She said, still finding his furless-ness rather strange. Though by now, she decided he wasn't going to attack. "I'm Caramel, and I know I'm short." She said, grinning mischievously. It was almost as if she took pride in it. "Who are you?"

He bowed. "Tempest, of Tuono. Which kingdom do you come from? I've never seen your kind before." He straightened and held out his hand.

She shook his hand and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Tempest. I come from the Center Kingdom in the Realm of Mageia." She answered. "I don't think you've heard of it...as it's an entirely different World all together. It's impossible to get there by foot. As for how I ended up HERE, Well... "She paused, and looked around. "I don't know. I don't even know where HERE is." She looked at him, wondering if he could provide her with the answer to that.

"You... you came here from a different dimension?" Tempest bent and started brushing off his clothes. "I've heard of one other person, but I never really met him. This is the world of Allorum. The kingdom your in is Unda, the kingdom of water." Tempest's eyes started changing colors, from a lightning yellow, to a dark grey.

She nodded. "I know that may sound a little strange.. Hmm.. The Kingdom of Unda you say..." She repeated, pondering his words. She was actually relieved to hear that she was in a water kingdom, as water was her element, and casting water based spells was much easier for her than any other.
She tilted her head at him as she noticed his eyes beginning to change. "Whats wrong?" she asked. Her cousin's eyes changed colors when he was feeling different emotions. She wondered if perhaps this was the same.

"Huh?" Tempest didn't know what she was talking about, until he remembered his eyes. "Oh, it's nothing, just a storm. My body's reading the pressure of air around me and my eyes just happen to show the color of weather." He tilted his head up to look at the clouds. "Annnd... it's a rainstorm."

"Ohh" She said. "That's actually pretty neat!" She grinned. She thought being able to tell the weather with his eyes was one of the coolest things she'd ever heard of. However, there was one thing that troubled her. "It's not a thunderstorm is it?" She asked. Rain was fine, but when it came to thunder, she was terrified.
