"Ha, yeah well it won't be a matter of you having a problem with him." Zeke turned back to the path they were walking down as he spoke to himself. Finally they came over a small lip of a hill and went down to the meadow where he and Don had made camp. It was out of the way, and more or less shielded from anyone finding it unless you were looking for it.
Zeke bent down to Don, and figuring he'd be sound asleep by now, whispered quietly with his created hand shaking him softly by the shoulder. "Don. Hey Don, wake up." Zeke winced a bit in worry. He hoped Don wasn't in a bad mode.

A simple and enjoyable dream of me playing my bass is interrupted by a slight rocking motion that jars me out of my sleep. Still running on the good vibes of my dream, I have a long yawn and a good stretch, before turning to Zeke. "You always have the worst time for waking me up. What's up?" I question with a lazy grin as I push my sunglasses up onto my forehead.
As I look at Zeke, I catch the image of someone off a bit in the distance, standing back and watching. Shifting over, I glance through my blearing eyes and catch only the person's flowing blonde locks. Looking back at Zeke I place my hand on his shoulder, my lazy grin turning sly as I give him an implying look and shuffle closer. "Jeez Zeke, waking me up just so you can kick me out? Deciding to go on a little "late night adventure" with your "princess?"" I joke, in that merciless way I've come to be known for.

Zeke punches Don soundly in the shoulder for his comment, his face flushed red and praying in hopes Alex didn't catch Don's comment. "Actually, my friend Alex has invited us to a much more comfortable place to spend the night. I met him out at the beach and he's been kind enough to let me invite my friend to his castle. Too bad I can't seem to find him, I'm sure he'd love the feel of soft down over rock hard ground any night." Zeke teased back at Don, his innocent smile betraying him more than he would have liked.
Moving to get up Zeke hovers over Don for only an instant to whisper, "Be nice." before he hops up and moves to the side to let both of his friends get a look at each other. "So, let me introduce you to King Alexander Frexton. Alex, meet Donovan Siroaki." Zeke kept himself cool, hoping against hope that these two could at least get to the castle without getting at each other's throats.

Thankfully Alexander hadn't heard Don's teasing comment; he'd raised an eyebrow watching Zeke suddenly punch the other man in the shoulder but didn't question it, it seemed to be in good humour by the looks of things.
Zeke stepped aside and introduced them, Alexander nodded shortly after and said, "Zeke, you are very kind." He then stepped forward to Donovan himself and dove into a sweeping bow before the man, feeling the need to formally announce himself.
"Mr. Siroaki, it is a pleasure to meet you. As Zeke mentioned, I am King Alexander Cornelius Frexton, son of Bradley Frexton IV and the ruler of Santo-Luce."
He brought himself up from his bow and stood proudly, almost eagerly waiting to take his new friends(?) along with him to the castle.

I hold my smirk as Zeke hammers me in the shoulder. It was just so easy to tease him and so enjoyable at the same time, but with the mention of a hot meal and a warm bed, I quickly feel compelled to shut up and listen.
Raising from my spot, I try to take Zeke's last comment to heart as I approach his new acquaintance. As the kid blows out his long and formal introduction, I scratch my head and reply with a bored, "That's nice," before Zeke fires me that look that he does when I'm "like this," as he puts it. Making a quick recovery, I reply as unapathetically as possible, "Umm, I mean, nice to meet you, I guess. I'm Donovan," as I hold my hand out for a half-assed handshake as I try to seem pleasant; something I commonly fail at.

Alexander blinked for a moment, a little put off by Donovan's reaction to meeting the king of all people. Keeping in mind Zeke's words earlier that the man could come out as a little "coarse" he quickly tried to brush it off, taking note right away that uh...it didn't seem like he was really a people person.
Nevertheless Alexander continued to smile and gladly reached out to shake Donovan's hand firmly.
"Wonderful. Donovan, Zeke, I do invite you both to spend the night in a warm place in my castle as opposed to the cold, harsh ground out here. I have only but a small request in return, being that you do not go around telling random strangers thereafter that you spent the night in my castle--you both remember you are part of the chosen hero group and I assure you it'll jeopardize myself and my kingdom if the word gets to other royals. I hope you understand and humbly accept my invitation regardless."

"Thanks again Alex, and don't you worry. We know how bad things can be for you guys in the Sumata. Especially if you don't want to be involved..." Zeke trailed off, thinking on Onyx. I hope things don't have to end the same for Alex as well. Realizing he had spaced out, and perhaps even worse hinted at what might have happened with the Fire King Zeke quickly changed topics.
"Man I'm really tired though. It's been days since me and Don have been able to get a full night's rest. Keeping watch at night can be a real pain after a while. It's not too far is it?"

"You do?" Alexander was quick to answer before Zeke changed subjects. He blinked, the way Zeke had worded it definitely sounded a tad bit suspicious. They'd obviously been talking to other royals, and if one of them had said something bad...he wasn't the only one.
Then again, he knew he wasn't the only one. Seigmand seemed to have something up his sleeve, perhaps they'd met him. He did seem to know a lot about some of the heroes, it shouldn't have surprised him then if Zeke and Donovan had run into him at some point.
He smiled though, shrugging it off as he said, "That's good, I guess. As for the castle, it's definitely not too far away, especially if you follow my shortcut that I had to take to sneak out of it. No one's going to be happy that I snuck out, though."
Alexander turned and took a few steps in the direction back to the castle, past the beach.
"If you're ready, I'll lead the way."
