Akuma finished the Nami attack and lept away from the card that was swung towards him, it managed to catch his knee sending him tumbling away slightly. Rolling onto his feet he gritted his teeth and thought on how to proceed making some more motions with his hand a dark sphere appeared before him "Kan..." he muttered and the spehere engrossed him like a coffin allowing him to power up another spell whilst being perfectly safe.

"Hmm? Eyes are the easiest place to find a tale." He said as he gathered his cards, "A challenge it is! Looks like I am going to have to wait for it to break... HASTEN!" He said as a card hit the sphere. It didn't do any damage but a clock appeared above it it started to spin rapidly. "Let us see how long this barrier can last against time."

Once within the safety of his Kan his sword faded away into darkness and using both hands he made a series of intricate movements, darkening the area surrounding the sphere in shadow's "Suu~Omu!" he hissed and the area of shade around the sphere raised and took the shape of hundreds of thousands of dark black wasps, each the size of a fully grown man's head. They swarmed around Ludro, attacking with sharp but non-poisonous stingers

"Crap!" Ludro said as he was getting stabbed. His eyes then turned white and he raised his hand, then a ring of darkness was fired, rotting the wasps and was heading towards Akuma.

The cloaked watcher grinned suddenly.
"Dark Time," she said. "An advanced power... you've been practicing, Captain Gamblington."

Akuma ignored the observer as best as he could, opening his hands wide the large sphere surrounding him burst open into thousands of little shrapnel pieces that froze in midair. Landing lightly he looked at the ring that was hastening it's way towards him, pressing his palms together he closed his eyes and his face showed real strain for the first time "Oburibion!" He roared spreading his arms wide the shards all flew together to make the large sphere again although this time it spun in a circle "Why am I using this...?" he said through gritted teeth as the sphere picked up speed in it's rotations until it appeared as nought but a blur "Iko!" he yelled and the dark orb launched itself forward towards the captain's attack, they met head on.

When the moves hit, a large explosion happened. Ludro hopped over, and landed in front of the cloaked watcher. He knew who it was, and it was his duty to protect her, in case the explosion reached her. His eyes were still white, and his fangs were showing now.

Akuma simply held a hand in front of his face as the explosion moved towards him with incomprehendable speed, the blast moved over him before slowly dispersing away into nothingness, the Knight simply stood there with his hand still shielding his eyes. Most of his exposed skin was cut or nicked in some way although when he lowered his arm his face showed no signs of pain.
In a flicker of shadow his sword dissapeared and he moved to the edge of the circle, the Captain was stood in front of their observer as if shielding them, it seemed that Akuma caught on and took a step forward "It appears..." he started with a knowing smile "That you are more than some battle enthusiast"

"Sorry, but you appear to be unarmed." He said as he walked away, from her. He picked up his Kusarigamas, and put them away, since he was not playing with his cards.

"I'd call it a draw myself..." Akuma said shaking the hand which had taken the brunt of the explosion "Although it seems..." he looked across at their observer "our watcher who is of great importance for some reason, has the final word"

Akuma simply nodded and walked over to the person who had watched their battle "And do you plan on telling me exactly who you are?" he asked her crossing his arms across his chest.
