"Complaining about it isn't going to do you any good! As I said, my daughter was weak and it's my fault, but you are far from it and I'd rather have the gods strike me down where I am before I let you fall like a failure! The Fraus bloodline is not full of failures--Loques, maybe, but that's because of Vincent--I will teach you the fine art of channelling and it will only serve you the very best in the time of battle!"
Annabelle gave Jasmine's hand a pat before letting it go.
"I know of a spring that will cleanse you, open your mind and it'll help you see and think more clearly. You should bring along the boy, he could use it, too," she even went as far as giving Jasmine the elbow nudge in the side, "you'll get to see him shirtless, too. Listen to me and you may even get more than that..."

Jasmine's face paled, not because of the embarrassing suggestion, but because for that split moment the very striking image of a shirtless Andy wading out of a pool with his wet bottom garments clinging tightly to him flashed in her head.
"GRANDMOTHER!!!" she screamed, shaking her head wildly. On one hand, this 'cleansing' thing would probably do her a ton of good.
A whole lot of good. Maybe it'd keep these...thoughts out of her head for a bit. Yes.

Annabelle smiled broadly as she leaned on her staff again.
"No need to thank me yet, granddaughter. But for now, we must hurry as we have lots of travelling, and even more work to do yet! I recall the spring being in Ketulunanox...where did that boy of yours go, anyway? You'd better round him up if he's coming, otherwise you'll both miss out on a little adventure," she cackled in amusement then as she stepped towards a small plant at the side of the road. She raised an eyebrow, examining it for a brief moment before slapping at it with her staff.

'Somehow I can't see him liking this idea one bit...'
"Do we have to go right now? We've only just gotten back and if Andy has different plans..."
It was pretty bad when there was so much going on that Jasmine didn't even know what to do anymore. Train, study, attack the Sumata--this was all very clear. But the when and the why and everything else that fell inbetween was what was so hard to figure out, especially when people like...this...showed up on them.
"I will have to ask him. Will you be fine to wait for a few minutes on your own, grandmother?"

Annabelle turned to Jasmine with a glare as she answered, "Yes, you will be going right now. To wait any longer could only destroy you--what part of that don't you understand? Stupid granddaughter!"
She rolled the staff in her hands, mumbling as she did so. She'd crouched low to the ground to examine the plantlife and the animals that lived nearby.
...Probably could have been taken as a sign that she would be alright to wait on her a few minutes, though.

Jasmine sighed at Annabelle's response. Her mother called her ungrateful and clumsy, and now her grandmother here was constantly calling her stupid. Alright, family support all around!
She wandered off in the direction Andy left in earlier, hoping he hadn't gone too far. She really hoped he wasn't too annoyed...hopefully.
