Horror-stricken, she very much was. Jasmine's breathing became heavier and heavier yet as she looked up at Lilith, trying to keep calm (as it would never do to have your enemies think or know you are scared or upset) but her hands shook too uncontrollably.
"Y-y-you...y-you!!" Jasmine squeaked out, suddenly scrambling to get to her feet, resting her back against the wall for support. This was a no-brainer, the forest queen did this to her mother and....well, Jasmine really had no other way to respond to this besides screaming at the moment. Tears showed in her eyes, but the fear kept them from falling yet.

"I...what? You don't know what this is about? Surely 'daddy' has told you what he did to me. I won't give you the same sympathy I gave your mother, you little wretch," Lilith flicked some of her long, curly hair out of her face as she stepped closer into the room and up towards Jasmine, "quite frankly, I never really liked you to begin with. This will be nothing but fun for me..."
She gave no warning, she stared ahead at the girl and the vines broke through the floorboards and grabbed at the girl. Watching her squirm would be a real treat.

Jasmine didn't have much time to react, she shrieked, she leaped...
And she folded her hands tightly together before the vines ripped them apart. "Please! I need help, I'll do whatever I have to....don't let her do this!!" she heard herself crying to the gods, gripping her prayer charm and hand tight...
And a light filled the room briefly. When it faded, Jasmine no longer wore the white gown she had been but rather a light purple outfit with a long coat and...white pants! Well, no need to worry about a draft anymore...
Her powers were available to her for a moment as she suddenly shot a spell that tore the vines apart all around her, yet for some reason the amount of energy she took to attack the vines seemed to be taken out of herself. Jasmine fell weak in time for the other vines to wrap around her.
"No...no!" she cried, trying to break free. She cursed silently, why didn't she think to call for help sooner?!

Andy was coming home when he saw the commotion inside, he saw Lilith, he saw Jasmine, and then he saw Hala...motionless.
No...No... Andy thought with rage as he drew his blade, when he saw her attack Jasmine he exploded. "NO!"
He rushed in the house and swung his blade for Lilith.

Lilith could barely hear the rattling of leaves over Jasmine's screaming. They were warning her of something...
One of her giant venus flytrap-like plants violently burst through the floor in between Lilith and Andy. Knocking down bits of the walls and ceiling, the ten foot high plant bared its teeth to Andy threateningly and with a low growl it lunged at him, protecting its queen.
"I didn't think you'd be here," Lilith snapped angrily as Andy had come running in the house, "If you'd only been a few seconds longer I could have been long done here."
She snapped her fingers, and the vines that grabbed the girl also gripped her by the throat and squeezed.

Jasmine's eyes widened as Andy burst through the door. "Andy!!" she cried, but the vines wrapped themselves tightly around her.
"I...n-no...please, I a-a...!!!" she tried to pray, she tried to scream as loud as she could to the gods for help but as she was squeezed tighter, she could make no other sounds.
'No...Mother! Andy! I need the gods' help, please help...' she silently prayed, repeating it over and over in her head.

Andy moved fast, wrapping the cloth around his hand and throwing his sword, it slit the Venus Flytrap and cut the vine squeezing Jasmine.
"No one else dies! Except you." Andy growled.

Lilith curled her lip angrily as her beautiful plant beast was dealt with and Jasmine was cut down. She gave a slightly hopeful look toward the girl but quickly replaced that look with a pouting frown as she saw the girl gasping for air.
"Oh dear, I almost thought I had her there, too," she grinned at Andy, "how much of a pleasant surprise would that be to spend all that time to rush in and save her and find that she's dead anyway?"
Stomping up and smashing the steps to the house and behind Andy came a couple of enormous bulb-like plant monsters. They had long arms, long claws, and hella sharp teeth to match, all of which were ready to leap on Andy at any moment.
"I don't see why you care so much about them anyway, it's not like they're dying in vain or anything," Lilith huffed as she waved at her pets, issuing them the command to 'play' with the orange-headed young man in front of them. They tore down the front wall of the house getting in, simply sucking in and devouring everything in their paths.

One of the monsters let out a very surprising, earth-rattling roar and leaped forward, taking the hit by the beam. It exploded in a sprinkling of burning plant pieces and showered the room with a thin, dark purple liquid which burned the skin when it came in contact with it. Lilith laughed as one of the plants sitting in her bag reached out and grew a humongous leaf that acted as a shield specifically for her.
The other beast, in the middle of the explosion, charged forward and raised a mighty arm, swinging wildly at Andy and gnashing its teeth.

Through the roof (or whatever was left of it) came another couple of the venus fly trap-like beasts to accompany the bulbed ones that were being sliced to pieces by Andy.
Lilith watched closely as Andy fought the monsters that were coming, and she smiled slightly, then. She figured he was distracted enough for her to bring in her brand new 'toy' that moved underneath the house, deep in the dirt. Climbing out of one of the holes by Jasmine already in the floor, a large, cylindrical beast came forth. It made an excited "Naaaaaaaa!" noise as it looked around the room. It had short, fat legs and large, lumpy arms - the entire thing looked like a walking tree trunk, except 'his' body was nearly as hard as steel.
'We'll see him try to cut through this' Lilith thought delightfully as she watched her 'baby' make his first couple of curious steps towards Hala's body. She giggled as he decided to try chewing on the dead woman's hair.

Jasmine had quickly brought up her own shield to deflect the liquid that rained around the room. It was shortly after that that she had backed up and away from the beast that now climbed into the kitchen and walked about in front of her.
When it grabbed Hala and started nibbling on her, Jasmine started yelling, "Leave her alone! You get away from her!"
She took her eyes off of the battle for a moment to try using some of the new magic she acquired from the Twilight gods, just desperate to separate the beast from her mother, even with a barrier. And a barrier was exactly what she brought up to protect her mother's body from further damage.
Yet, as the gods had warned Jasmine earlier, where she had performed a harmless defensive spell with their magic, dark magic also had to find its place at the moment. And so, as the barrier was brought up, a light beam of energy burst forth from Jasmine's hand and slammed into the new beast.
She was stunned, and she stood completely still with her jaw dropped. She couldn't believe she had just done that.

The creature whined loudly and Lilith laughed. She stepped out of its path of destruction and not even a second after she did so the creature angrily sprinted forward and mightily slapped Jasmine hard into the wall.
Lilith grinned as she looked over at the wall, a crack appeared where the girl had hit it, and she looked down to the floor at Jasmine as she said to her plant, "Very good, 'Baby', I thought I heard a bone snap in there!"
She wasn't sure if she really had or not, she just wanted her beaming pet to feel good about what it just did.

Nope, Jasmine's bones were most definitely intact yet, luckily. However, it didn't mean she wasn't writhing in excruciating pain, either. She hit the wall and fell to the floor with a loud 'thud', and there she lay motionless for nearly a minute or so before she started even squirming about on the spot on the floor.
She cast a minor healing spell on herself then, and she got to her feet dizzily, looking back at the monster.
"Andy, that thing's really mean--don't let it hit you!" she figured she'd try to give him a fair enough warning, her ears were still ringing.
