*Mark blinked and sighed.*
Mark: Sorry, I pretty bad at complements, or moral raising for that matter. *He shrugged resting the blade on his shoulder.*

She shrugged and sighed as well. "That's alright, I'm terrible at receiving them. Normally the only times I hear anything semi-decent said about me, it's because someone wants something from me. It gets kinda annoying after a while."

Mark: Yeah? Even your friends? *Mark said sitting next to a tree, he closed his eyes taking that moment to rest.*

"Well... I actually don't have that many friends. The ones that I'm closest to I don't even get to see anymore." She sat down cross-legged nearby the tree, putting the blade down next to her.

Mark: A girl like you should be making tons of friends, staying out late, get grounded. *Mark said with a small laugh.*

"Back in L.A. I was more worried about not getting fired from whatever job I was currently working so I wouldn't be evicted from my apartment. I live, well, lived on my own. Can't get grounded when you don't have your parents around to scream at you. Besides, there's only 2 things that can keep me up past 11 o'clock; a party or a good book. And I don't get invited to many parties."

*Mark stayed silent for a moment and decided not to ask about her parents, he never liked people asking about his past so he was sure she wouldn't like it if he asked about hers.*
Mark: I see... *is all he said before his blade vanished from his hand and he stood up.* Well, we better keep going. If we rest to long we won't want to get up.

"Right." She got up, picking up the blade as well, and started off in the direction of the Shade Mountains again.

*Mark let her lead the way, he kept a watchful eye out just in case, something in the air didn't feel right.*

A woman in a dark blue cloak watched them silently from the shade of a tree. She saw them begin to make their way again towards the mountains, taking note of the man with the swords before her gaze went back to her main target. So close now...Faeylinn....

When they reached the mountains she walked next to the light's boundry for a while. "This is so cool!" She began walking with one foot on the dark side and one on the light.

*Mark held one hand out watching the sun touch his fingers, he then pulled it back.*
Mark: It's very amazing... *Mark said taking a step forward.* I'd say this is differently one of the great wonders in Crepusculum...

"One of? What are some of the other ones? If they're all as awesome as this then I most definitely have to see them!" She continued walking along the boundry, looking at the ground in front of her where the light alternately was and wasn't.

Mark: As much as I hate to admit it Nerezza is one of them, it's always night there and no one can figure out why. Guasto also, considering it seems to be where a bunch of the spirits go. This world is full of them. *Mark explained trying to remember them.*
