Are We Lost?

[Liatra]

The woman moved out from under the tree, pulling back her hood but not crossing into the light.
"And I think you aren't going anywhere just yet."

[Mark Angelus Fri]

*Mark grumbled at the idea of going to Nerezza and was about to protest when another person entered, Mark turned to her and stepped in front of Faeylinn instinctively.*

Mark: Who are you?!

[Julie Clementae]

She turned around, almost dropping the map in surprise as she recognized the woman.
"You?! You're that woman from my dream!"
She folded the map messily and shoved it into the sack Profeta had given her, holding her blade in her right hand, ready to bring it up if she needed to. There was something strange about this woman, she didn't trust her.

[Liatra]

She laughs lightly.
"I doubt you have the slightest clue how to even use that, little one. Maybe you should hide behind your friend like the frightened little girl you are and let him fight."
She draws her sword.
"I was wondering when we would meet again, I was getting tired of sitting around."

[Julie Clementae]

Little one? Frightened little girl?!? She knew she probably should have stayed behind Mark, but instead she stepped around him.
"Do not call me 'frightened little girl'. I'm not scared of you."
She raised her chin and glared at her defiantly, holding the sword in front of her.

[Mark Angelus Fri]

*Mark stayed calm but smirked a bit.*

There you go, that's the roar I want to hear from you.

Mark: Faeylinn... you think you can handle this one? *He asked, the enemies power seemed strong, very close to one of a Sumata.*

[Liatra]

She chuckles and raises her sword, letting the light flash on it as it passes over the boundary and knocks Faey's sword to the side.
"You should know better than to let your pride rule you. We both know you won't win this fight."

[Julie Clementae]

"Maybe not, but that doesnm't mean I won't try."
She stood there, letting her hands fall to her sides, and took a breath to calm herself. She'd need to get the sword out of her hands, then she'd have a good shot... All she needed now was an opening.
"You haven't told me your name yet. Who are you?"

[Mark Angelus Fri]

*Mark took a step back and then vanished reappearing on a tree right by them, he was ready to step in when needed but sometimes it takes a good battle to awaken the powers inside you. So he would wait till she really needed him.*

[Liatra]

"I am Liatra, one of the Ketulunanox Captains. And you are Faeylinn, one of the "heroes". You should have stayed in your own world."
She closes her eyes for a moment, concentrating, then opens them again and moves forward into the light, until she is a few inches away from Faey.
"But this is where you are supposed to be, so why don't we get along to what I was brought here to do?"

[Julie Clementae]

"Right, then I'll just-"
She cut off her sentence suddenly and grabbed the arm that held her sword, twisting it.

[Liatra]

Liatra twists with her arm, thrusting her other elbow in Faey's ribcage. She grips Faey's wrist and pulls her forward while she's off balance.
"Hah, don't think it's nearly that easy."

[Julie Clementae]

The breath was momentarily knocked from her lungs, and when she was pulled off balance she turned her shoulder forward, pushing herself towards Liatra in an attempt to tackle her. If it didn't work, she'd be on the ground, but if it did, Liatra would be down there with her.

[Liatra]

She leaps back quickly as Faey falls at her feet.
"Haha, this must be some joke. A fool like you? A hero?! This is making things far too easy."

[Julie Clementae]

She got to her feet as quickly as she could, grabbing her sword as she did.
"What are you trying to be, a Disney villain? Stop monologuing, it's annoying me."
