Gensayce gulped slightly and took a step forwards towards Kara remembering when he first killed someone taking his helmet from his head he had his jaw set, he opened his mouth as if to say something but then stopped as if he lost the words before seemingly finding them again, he leant in closer towards her "It was a fake.." he said calmly the warmth of the leather glove under his gauntlet brushing against the back of her hand and took another breath "And it had to be done, if that were the real Trucido he would have killed us all with no mercy M'lady"

"I-I-I know...it's still...just..." She grabbed onto his armored hand gently. "...a little unsettling..." Kara turned away from where the unmoving head lay and closed her eyes with a shaky breath. Death always seemed to follow in her wake, and sometimes it took it's toll on her spirit.

*Mark took in a deep breath as he wiped blood of his face, running light magic over his many cuts.*
Mark: You fool... you lost the moment you betrayed your friends... *Mark growled then turned around to notice the others defeat the fake Trucido. He then ran off into another direction aiming to thin as much troops as possible.*

"What the..." Kuukyo said to himself as the Yeligar's attack slammed right into him causing him to fall out of the sky, slamming into the ground hard. Gathering strength he stood up to face Yeligar. "Impressive move, I'd like to see you try that again." He said as he took out his blade, resting it on his shoulder.

Gensayce nodded grimly giving her hand a reassuring squeeze before looking across at the normal soldiers fighting around them "I must help these men..." he said letting go of her hand and reaching down to pick up his spear, he turned to face her "I would ask you to flee to safety but I know how stubborn you are and I have a feeling you will not, either way, stay safe" he pulled the visor on his helm down.

"Kara!" Andy ran over to her as well, she seemed shaken by what she had done. He put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?"

Celes ran through the streets of the city. She was being chased, but she wasn't in a position that she was prepared to fight whoever was chasing her. Coming up to an empty, silent intersection, she turned with one fluid motion, unsheathing her blade.
"I'm ready for you, now," she called out.

Gensayce nodded at Andy his visor staying down over his face "I believe she is merely shaken up" he said his voice somewhat muffled by the helm "I will stay and make sure Ka-" he cut himself off remember his duties "-M'lady is safe if you would rather it?" he asked Andy, he held his spear in hand perfectly willing to go off and fight or stay and protect Kara.

Had he just almost...called her by her name? No, had to be her imagination. "No, you should go, I'll be alright. They need you more then I do..." She was lying through her teeth, and her gaze never left the dusty ground at her feet.

Gensayce lifted the visor up again and looked down at her "Your sure..?" he asked an edge to his voice he had moved in front of her holding his spear behind his back "I could just as easily stay..." part of him wanted to stay badly yet a small part of him niggled to not let him get distracted and get back in the fight "You only have to say the word Kara" he muttered in a low voice.

Kara crossed her arms and looked up at Gensayce's masked face. She could just barely see his gentle eyes looking at her. She wanted him to fight, wanted herself to fight, but that small part of her deep down was still so very afraid. "Please don't go...don't leave me alone again."

Gensayce nodded and lifted his helmet from his head, placing an arm around her shoulder and pulling her into a hug, his free hand holding his spear behind his back "If you don't want me to leave then here I'll stay..." he muttered resting his head atop hers.

Andy watched the two of them before nodding, he wasn't needed here. He turned to Gensayce and spoke, "You keep her safe."
He wanted to add 'or else' but that was too menacing sounding, so he left it at that and took off in the air, looking for more to fight and defeat.

Gensayce simply nodded at Andy before whispering to himself "I'll keep her safe..." He looked down at her "I think we should get you out of here, I don't think this is the best place for a rightful ruler to stand right now do you?"
