It was a bustlingly dusk at Crepusculum capital of Nachtundtag. Common folk were looking though the market, some of the children were playing with a ball they found. One of them kicked the ball really hard, and it smacked into one of the eastern towers of the gate surrounding it. On top of that tower, on the roof, sat a man in a blood red clothes finishing a bowl of ice cream. "Mhhh, Mint ice cream in the evening. What a lovely taste it is. Almost as good as blood." He said to himself and then he looked down at the city, knowing that most of them will not know what is going on in the next 10 minutes. Trucido teleported to the fields where the rest of the Sumatas were at. Trucido looked around, then he cracked his knuckles, and he made the motion like he was pulling two items apart. The fields then had a large white portal, and when it disappeared thousands of soldiers stood there at the ready. Trucido did it a few more times, and when he was done, there were about 2,000,000 soldiers ready to attack the city, which was about a half mile away. "My army, take down the city! Leave none alive." He said as he looked at the city, For you, Lilith. He thought, as the soldiers started to walk to the city wall. When the reached there, the alarm had already been rung, and the closest platoon was outside, in front the gate ready to fight the white army. The armies clashed, but the small platoon was no match for this unnatural force. They then started to attack the wall, and the door, trying to burst in. "Sumatas, you can join in the war if you so choose so. I know I am." Trucido said as he walked down into the crowds of his soldiers, pulling out his whip. "Wonder if the heroes will arrive before we destroyed too much of the city?"

*Minutes before the armies were summoned*
"Queen Milicia! Queen Milicia! Where are you?" A single guard ran through the halls with panic in his voice. The castle was frenzied since one of the many patrols had spotted him. A man dressed in crimson cloth had sat perched above one of the towers. There was no doubt as word spread that Trucido had come to Nachtundtag. As one of the guards went inside her bedroom, his eyes glanced around to find it unexpectedly empty. The room was sparse, save for a few items on her dresser, and a letter left open on her desk. It was brief, and had no signature, nor seal. Yet if the guard had paused to read the 2 day old letter before rushing in search of the queen again, it would have been as a prophecy of the things Trucido had planned in the minutes to come.
As the battle began at the walls of Nachtundtag, Milicia stood in one of the many grand towers that oversaw her great capital. Her head hung with sorrow as she looked down towards the great glyph she had spent the last two days etching into the floor. She could hear the sounds of clashing steel, and knew she could not bear to look out the window to see what laid ahead for her. "Zeke, are they at the wall?" Her eyes glanced over towards the young Hero who stood gazing out the window.
Zeke only nodded. He was stunned by the display outside, the sheer number of enemy troops flowed like an ocean of metal towards them, and beat against their walls like an endless tide.
"Very well. Please go with Don. Do what you can and prepare for the Sumata. I fear Trucido will not have come with mere grunts." The symbols began to hum with energy as Milicia closed her eyes. Not waiting to see Zeke and Don go she incited the incantation. With time, light shot out from the high tower as thin rays, each one piercing through all matter until it struck outside the city walls. Runes appeared for only a moment in the center of the light's focus before erupting under the feet of the soldiers as a pillar of flames. The fire burned fiercely and ate away at all that were unfortunate enough to be caught in it as it surrounded the city walls.
Forgive me my people. With what little time I had, this is all I can do for you. The flames made the city nearly inaccessible by normal soldiers, but just as inescapable for her own people. There was no running from this battle for anyone, and as Milicia could do nothing but hold the spell, she sat in fear of Trucido and his Sumata and prayed for the luck her city would need to survive this night.

Zeke watched with silence for a moment longer as Milicia began her spell. The numbers outside the gates were terrifying, unlike anything he'd faced in his time in Ketulunanox or Ignis. Even more frightening was the fact that the leader of all the Sumata was right with them. His brush shook as Zeke buried the fear deep inside him. The wars had taught him that. In a way, his optimism had made it easier to do than it would have been for most people. As Zeke placed his one foot on the windowsill overseeing the city, he thought to himself that everything would work out in the end.
As he gulped down the last ounce of hesitation Zeke stepped out and dove from the tower. In his free fall his brush flew out alongside him, and in moments a glider was conjured to carry him swiftly to the grounds outside the gate.
I suppose there's no sense in saving strength. I'm going in full power. Zeke stood back as soldiers near the gate piled around it, holding it together as Trucido's men hammered into it from the other side.
The glider vanished as Zeke's brush moved swiftly around him. One by one it traced the outlines of a similar looking calligraphy brush, filling in the lines completely with the inky energy of his psyche. When finished, he stood at the ready. The fires of Milicia's spell burned high into the night sky, and the ceaseless pounding against the gate had ended. A row of six identical brushes floated behind Zeke, each waiting on his command to engage the first enemy to enter his vision.

Trucido walked up to the flame wall that was separating the army from the city. He took off his hat, and then pulled something out of it, then put the hat back on his head, letting his hair cover the front of his face. He then rubbed his hands of what was inside of it, and then he raise his hands, and then shouted, "Aeroga!" The winds suddenly picked up and a violent tornado then started on the fire, and move side to side, removing the flames from the front of the door. He then grabbed his whip and then started to whip the door, breaking chunks off with every strike. Then he fired another air spell, and it completely destroyed the door, sending splinters everywhere inside of the city. Trucido stood there, as his army stormed the city.

As soon as the doors busted open, Yeligar pointed his lance, crackling with lightning. He then shouted, "Thunder CRACK!" Then a huge beam of pure lightning was fired, and killed the first rows of soldiers. Yeligar then ran out, and shouted, "Heroes, NOW!" He then switched to the blue blade and then swung it, making hundreds of water swords come crashing down at the army.

Ayalan's presence would be known too, as he stood with his full battle outfit, pulling out two crossbows. He ran in and, on Yeligar's command, took the left flank, running through and saving any civilian he could.
This would be a tough battle, so Aya's body was outfitted with bolts to the max, and his sword, as he took a shot, he would switch to his melee, constantly dashing through the army. He took a few hits here and there, but he held his own flank now, letting people run away as he stabbed his sword in the ground.
"Come at me if you want to die!" He held out both crossbows, awaiting the army. He was fully ready to help this town, and he wouldn't let this flank go for anyone.

Serena stood with Trucido at first, watching over the battle.
"Mi'lord. So far, we are at a full advantage, but their leader and a simple soldier are both tiring themselves out early in this battle," she then looked across at him, "Perhaps you should consider doing the dishonorable thing and cut off the head of the snake.."
She smiled to herself, and then took a few steps forward, near the gate, incanting the field with a special dark spell, hoping it would increase the soldier's capabilities, and then opened her book, readying herself with all of her spells. She wanted to be a near last line of defense for Trucido afterall, and she would constantly be the annoyance for the heroes, that was for sure.

Faeylinn was half a mile from the gate, and still she could hear the fighting. She winced at the sound of some poor soldier screaming and started running for the frontlines. Her magic training hadn't gotten far, but she know understood her healing powers enough to use them at will, though they drained her if the wounds were significant or near-fatal.
After a few minutes she finally found the source of the screaming- a soldier with a badly broken leg gouges in his chest, bleeding heavily. He'd been dragged off the battlefield and then left and she ran to his side. Biting her lip she tried to ignore his screams as she moved his leg back into and and then put on hand on where the break was the worst, the other on his chest, and closed her eyes. It didn't take long for the soldier to stop screaming and when she opened her eyes he was nearly healed, the wounds now barely thin cuts and closing quickly. She wiped the soldier's blood off on her pants and ran off again, trying to help as many as she could.
There are already so many dead... She thought, looking around and fighting a wave of nausea. There were a few bodies along the backstreets she ran through, far enough from the main battle that she felt safe enough. Still, no place was safe now. The battle had started and she was as scared for her life as she was for everyone else's.
She could hear the battles getting closer- the fight was moving deeper into the city. Trembling, she forced herself to stay in the same area, climbing up a wall to a low roof nearby so she could stay out of the battle-zone, but she would be able to get down quickly to help any who needed it. It wasn't long before the soldiers poured into the street she overlooked, cutting down anyone in their path. She turned to the side and emptied her stomach, then wiped her mouth and made herself continue watching the fight.

Trucido grinned on hearing the report so early. "Unless Milicia has more troops coming, Nachtundtag shall burn to the ground, then we can finish up on our plans." He said as he looked at the fallen soldiers. "Oh, they are so naive. Thinking one strike will kill my soldiers, pathetic." The fallen soldiers that had their torso, and head in place, lean up. The severed limbs then turned into liquid and connected to the nearest injured Anti-Matter Soldier, and then the soldier stood up, can continued charging into the city.

"SCREW THIS!" A voice thundered as parts of a burning building came crashing though the street that Faey was currently looking at. All of the soldiers were either crushed or standing at the ready. Volkmar than appeared, his eyes already a solid gray color. He then swung and killed any soldiers that was still standing in the street. After he was finish with those, he ran to find more of these soldiers. "COME ON, COME ON, COME ON, COME ON! I WANT A REALLY STRONG OPPONENT!"

Mark: Another city will be annihilated because of you, Trucido. *Mark growled to himself as he watched the fighting from a building.* But is this your endgame? No, there still has to be more to it.
*Mark raised his hand and with a snap of his finger thousands of little lights formed around him, swinging his hand down they sped to a group of enemy soldiers. Might as well help the Heroes...*

The winds that quelled the fires around the gate did well to let Trucido's soldiers begin to storm through. Yet as Milicia had had 2 whole days to prepare this one defense, it was far from defeated. The Aeroga spell flowed out of control, consuming all of the fire around Nachtundtag's walls. In mere moments what was once a barrier of flames had become a torrent of magic winds.
While a few of Trucido's abominations had broke through the spell with his help, those that tried to follow suit were picked up by the violent winds and hurled back into the air by the hundreds. As she sat safely in her hidden tower, Milicia could only remain to keep the wall's magic strong.
(And yes, this is a magic wall that surrounds the city and takes the form of any element used against it. Unless someone is constantly using their own power to keep the area leading to the gate open, it seals itself very quickly. It's a spell that took her 2 days to prepare, and isn't going to be neutralized by a trinket inexplicably stored in someone's hat.)

**MEANWHILE IN SANTO-LUCE**
"Sire, sire, you really should see this!"
Alexander followed guards and servants who all spat out all different variations of that sentence, all of the meaning the same thing: "come see this."
As he approached the very tip top of the tower though and looked over towards the north-eastern horizon his eyebrow raised. In the distance there was a very colourful glow, barely seen over the Shade Mountains just along the Crepusculum border. It changed, just the same as even more lights flashed and a very noticeable cloud of dark smoke started rising over the land.
"Something's wrong," Holmes spoke beside Alexander, his weary eyes scanning the scene, "don't you agree?"
Alexander nodded. "I don't know what, though that can't be a good sign."
They looked at each other, staring in silence for a long moment as they both seemed to try to read each other's minds; should they do something? Could they do anything?
"It'd be pointless to send someone," Alexander finally broke the silence, saying exactly the thing Holmes appeared to have on his mind, "we don't know if time will be on our side. I'll include the queen in my prayers and hope that whatever is going on over there she has under control, but my energies must be spent on the protection of Santo-Luce."
Holmes nodded sadly, understanding fully that Alexander was doing not something he wanted to but rather something he had to do. His eyes widened then as Alexander summoned his favourite fox spirit, the young beautiful thing always eager to help the young king.
Foxy 'purred' as Alexander pet her, directing her attention towards Crepusculum.
"I'll ask you to do something very important for me. I can't leave, I must stay here to help people. You're faster and can do more to investigate and possibly help whoever needs it than anyone else I send--will you be a good girl and go for me?" Alexander spoke gently to her. She squealed lightly, rubbing against his hand before pushing her way past him and right out the tower window. She landed from the many-storey drop gracefully and on her feet, sprinting off like lightning towards Crepusculum.
Holmes looked to Alexander, who smiled at him as he said, "...it really would be pointless to send someone out there. I should offer up whatever I can to help, though."

"So, Milicia is going to make this a long war. She is just prolonging the fight, but this is good. I don't like my fights ending too quick." He grinned, and snapped his fingers. "Troops, continue the killing. I will have to find a way to stop her... Two of you, keep an eye on Serena." Two soldiers with very large shields stood next to Serena, prepared to stop any attackers. Trucido then walked away, and started to think where Milicia could be hiding. "Where is that queen? Might as well check near the castle, makes the most sense." He then started to walk towards the castle, whip at the ready.

Yeligar noticed that the wall blew most of the soldiers that broke in, but there were a great number still inside, about 4000 or so. Yeligar ran to find some higher ground, but noticed a small boy being chased by 4 soldiers, with their spears ready to chuck at the boy. "Not on my watch." He said as he ran towards the boy. When Yeligar past the boy, the soldiers threw their spears at him. Most of them missed, but one got Yeligar grazed his neck, and removed his cloak. When the cloak fell down, Yeligar was in a dark gray armor. This was his old warlord armor, covered in unique markings, and battle damage from the old days. He stood up, and grabbed the shield on his back, and pointed his lance at the enemies. He then ran, and jousted them one by one. When he was on the other side of the street, the soldiers had holes right in the middle of their chests. "Time to find the heroes, and the Sumatas. Time to put an end of this once and for all."
He started to run, then he ran back. "Hey boy, are you okay?" The boy's leg were shaken nervously as he replied, "Y-yes sir." Yeligar walked back to him, and said, "Run to the western part of the city, you should be safe." The boy nodded and ran away. "He is too young to be in this war." He then ran back towards the eastern gate.
