Tempest jumped from a cloud onto a roof, where a girl was hiding. He recognized her as the girl from the ball. "What did I miss? Where's Yeligar?" He swayed a bit before regaining balance. Darn portal spells... never again!

Faey jumped to her feet quickly, hearing someone arrive. There was a pause as she remained in a defensive position, then a flash of recognition in her eyes as she straightened up. "He's down there, fighting." She gestured to the street, turning her attention back to it with a grimace. "There's already so many dead..." And not enough that I can do to help.. She finished her sentence in her mind, trying to work up the courage to climb down and help the wounded that were stranded in the middle of the battle.

Tempest followed her gaze, seeing the wounded. Anger boiled up inside him as he stared at all of the dead. Not far off from where the building was a lone knight was fighting off two soldiers. Hands shaking from anger, he pulled out his bow. From his pack, he produced a series of sticks. Slotting one onto the other, he put the collapsible arrow together and strung it in his bow, aiming at one of the soldiers. He let go of the arrow and it struck straight into the soldiers back. He looked at Faeylinn, anger calming down. "Do you want to help me move the wounded out of the street? At least untill we get to Yeligar."

Faey nodded her head in a jerky motion, walking over to whereshe'd climbed up. Wait, he doesn't know... "You should probably know, since that, um.. Incident at the ball, I've found I can, uh.. Heal people..." She half-mumbled this as she slung one leg over the side of the wall, searching for a foothold to climb down and hoping no one would fire an arrow at her.

"Oh." Tempest thought for a moment before answering, "Nothing's changed about me, except that I woke up in the ocean once... and that I hate teleporting." He pulled out his blades before jumping over the side of the roof, landing on his feet. He stayed in a crouched position, ready for danger.

Ryhart was staying in Nachtundtag when he heard the sounds of battle. Quickly unsheathing his blades, he ran out into the street to aid the cities army in defending it. Finally, a war... I don't know anything about it... But at least it gives me a chance to hone my skills... And hopefully get paid for it.. He thought. Screaming out, he saw a man (Tempest) and shouted "What's going on?!?!"

As Volkmar was fighting off enemies in droves Tidus was weaving in and out of them, slicing their sides, not taking his time fighting one enemy at a time. He leaped over someone and struck at him while flipping, when he landed he shouldered charged a soldier. Knocking him over, one of it's buddies tried to help out but ended up being stabbed by Tidus's sword.
"Alright then, this areas clear for now. We're getting some of the people out." he flipped his sword to hold back hand as he turned to Volkmar's direction. "How's things going with you?"

"NOT GOOD! WHY ISN'T THERE A STRONG OPPONENT?" Volkmar shouted as he slammed his sword into the wall. One of the soldiers that Volkmar strike stood up, and grabbed one of the swords of his fallen soldiers, and ran to Volk. Volkmar turned around, and deliver an uppercut. The Anti-matter soldier was cut in half, and something was sent right towards Tidus.

Startled, Tempest backed up several feet, bumping into the building behind him. He started walking toward the man. He stopped where he had shot that one soldier, not taking his eyes from the person. "A war... obviously." Thinking he sounded too much of a smart aleck he cleared his throat. "I only got here myself, so I don't really know." He heard shuffling behind him and quickly turned around. The soldier he had shot was getting up, pretending the arrow wasn't even in it's back. He saw for the first time that the soldier didn't have a face. He brought his blades up as the anti-matter soldier lunged at him. He felt something on his shoulder, as if someone had placed a hot iron there. Tempest was holding the sword between his two blades, and the wound on his shoulder wasn't severe, but the soldier was pushing it in every second. Tempest gritted his teeth and kept pushing on the blade, slowing it down, but not stopping the sword.

Faey ran in, slashing at the anti-matter soldier attacking Tempest. As it faded back, what could be salvaged of it's 'body' joining with another wounded soldier. Then she grabbed Tempest and pulled him a bit farther from the battle, trying not to panic again. "Hold still" she ordered, putting a hand very lightly on the wound on his shoulder and closing her eyes. The prickling sensation in her hand dissipated quickly and she released him, the muscle healed and a dark scar fading quickly on his skin. She stumbled slightly. and ened up leaning against a wall. Dammit, I'm not ready for this, I don't have enough energy to continue healing people...

Ryhart parried incoming blows, slowly back his way up to Tempest and the girl. "Who the hell are the good guys here?!?! I don't know who to fight..." He shouted and in frustration parried a blow, bringing his right sword around and slicing halfway through its neck.

"At the moment," said Tempest, looking at the light line that marked where the sword almost skewered him, "I'd say the people without faces." He got up, rotating his shoulder. "Wow! It's like there was never even any damage... Thank yo-" Tempest stopped short, seeing Faeylinn leaning against the wall. "Hey, you ok?"

Ryhart nodded and began this flurry of combat, using a brawler type fighting style. He stabbed and thrust his way through the scattered 'bad guys'. He noticed a platoon of soldiers attempting to fight off the increasing body of enemies without faces. What the hell is going on? He thought and fought his way over to the soldiers. I need answers..For the time being, I'll kill something..

"The wound was deep.." She muttered, pushing herself off the wall and swaying on her feet a bit. after a moment she shook her head to disperse the dizziness, coming back to her senses. "I'll be fine, I just need to be more careful about using my abilities- healing a lot of serious injuries drains me quickly."

"Well... if you need to rest, we can." Tempest laughed. "I'll try not to get hurt as well." He sat on a piece of rubble. His eyes changed to a deep grey and he looked to the sky. "The weather isn't very happy about this battle."
