The Other demands of you puny mortals to reveal your zombie plans! In case you have no idea what I mean, a person's zombie plan is their default strategy for when the zombie apocalypse inevitably happens. Everyone should have one, so what's yours? P.S. May also include Zoom-bie plan, for the zombie's that can run and give chase as opposed to old fashion shambling zombies.

I don't believe in the zombocalypse! If it actually does happen, I will get DC to lead me, because she's the most commando zombocalypse planner I've ever met.

Well, I suppose it depends on the nature of the zombies, the means of becoming infected, and other such specifics. However, I've attended a few workshops on this subject so I have a few basic ideas. First of all, guns are good, but they're difficult to get ahold of unless you have the right connections. That having been said, if a zombie apocalypse does start, I know a few areas where I can definitely scavenge some useable firearms, though they are not my own. However, melee weapons never run out of ammunition; I would use guns sparingly in preference to melee weapons to keep small numbers of zombies at bay. I do possess a good sword for this purpose as well as some other heavy objects to hit zombies with. The best idea is to hole up and take shelter in some sort of convenience store, where exits can be easily guarded and you can hold out a long time with food supplies. You can use food to trade with neighboring survivors for things such as weapons. If you're lucky, you can outlast the apocalypse. However, if it looks to be a long-term invasion, you will inevitably have to move due to lack of renewable resources. In this case, you will have to find whatever survivors you can and start a rural farming community away from the infected. But that is the worst case scenario. I have friends who tell me public schools are good places to fortify, but I find that they are personally too big to defend adequately. But, that's just my personal opinion.

That's a good plan,Miri. However DC doesn't necessarily have all the skills needed to survive. Sure, she'd make an awesome planner and strategist. However there are various other roles to fill, such as leadership, strength etc. That is why it is so hard to put together a zombocalypse team together. Personally, I have a team already made up with realistic objectives. I'll post my actual plan on here when I get the time.

Step 1: Contact team members and establish a meeting point (probably the roof of the school) while communications are still intact. Step 2: Get weapons (I prefer melee, quieter and doesn't need reloading) and as many supplies as possible. Maybe even take a car (Crash course in driving? I think not, Faey will be part of my team for her driving skills.) Step 3: Meet up with the rest of the team. Make sure everyone in the team has supplies (if we have time divide the supplies we all have evenly in case we get split up) Step 4: Plan. I would prefer to hole up in the Cabelas in East Hartford, which isn't far driving or walking if we have a day, but if it's still early in the infection there will be too many panicking people to get through alive, so we may spend a few days on the roof (or in the school if we can) Step 5: GET to Cabelas. They have many guns and other weapons, as well as camping or hiking supplies, and some food. Hopefully find good transportation. A few bikes, a sedan, and if we're really lucky (and have someone to drive it) a small truck so we can bring many supplies or if we're overwhelmed get in there and try to kill off the zombies from inside (shooting holes or something in the sides?). (I WANT AN ARMORED TRUCK FOR CHRISTMAS!) Step 6: Survive. Etc.... As for my team.... If I had to make it minimal (bigger teams are risky) I would chose Rutger because I know he can fence and you never know when you're gonna find a sword. And because he can drive. My friend Anna because she also has a thing for zombies and would definitely have some good input come strategy time. That leaves room for a few. I need someone who is really good with weapons and can teach the rest of us how to use them as well. And if anyone else wants to join my team you better put forth a good argument for what you can do that would help the team. When you're being chased by the undead hordes a cheerleader is useless to me unless she's bait.

The distance is rather unrealistic to travel.

Isn't the logical place to travel in a zompocalypse Canada? None of this "up north" crap. I'm heading to Labrador, or settling down on an island in the Hudson bay...

I would join them!....Yeah. >_> <_< I've already been given the nickname "The Rabinous Zombie" by a few of my online friends. |D Its a long story, but the basic idea of it is- I'm a zombie with Rabies >_>

Oh boy. I believe a certain person's team here needs me. |D
My plan from my place as follows:
1. Grab my guitar, as it is my longest ranged weapon at my side(And if I get through, its a form of entertainment. The zombies will never kill me, but my boredom may.) 2. Look out my windows, and look at my car in relation. If it's free, I'm on a second story, but it's a brick wall and I'm pretty good with rock climbing. However, if it is not, I'll have to say my home isn't a half bad place to stay. I have a freezer that would last me a few months; but that's not desirable. I NEED my car. 3. Park the car in the garage with my tools. Get upgrading. ((Sheet metal and such. Make some awesome plows and such.)) 4. Get people closest to me: Thats about two within a mile radius. 5.Go toward the Rutger/Faey/DC area, calling all three that I'm on my way(The short distance required is very good: And the next part is awesome because of it)) 6. With my guitar and car (And my spare gas for any emergency situations in cans..XD) Pick them up, pick up a ton of food, guns, and the like, come back to my place, refortify, and go back and forth as needed because my town..well I have enough areas that can be scavenged for survival. In total, my group would be...6 large. 7. Wait it out for a month, should nothing change, Leave on a mission for new horizons via car- should I encounter a roadblock or abandoned cars, I'll find an alternate route. The GPS Will always save ze day. 8. Bound for the southern state key islands. Clear them out with the elite team, make the island ours. Live in peace. XD;
Criticisms of other people's plans: Numbered by posts after The Other. 1. Jas:.....That may last only a few seconds. XDDD;;; 2. Miri: DC is pretty epic with her plans. I agree that she would make a good team leader if not a tactician. 3. Rutger: Swords seem cool, but they need constant sharpening. One zombie that you get stuck in, and three take you down. My guitar has the same problem, but i only take it for the range. 4. Scott: The distance to travel is unheard of. At least for us East coast people. We would get caught up at the freaking checkpoints. Its bound to happen as it has been so popularly seen: No one wants the infection to spread beyond borders. 5. DC: Plan's sound, but you have a lot of reliance that people will come back alive from their split up objectives. Plus, the School and Cabela's are gonna be So overrun. If not by Zombies, by the survivors with the same commonplace ideas. 6. Morghie:....*blinks*.....The point is to SURVIVE! XD;;;;
My own problem? I need others, or I'll get bored, lonely, tired, sad. Whatever. I can't work or be alone. And also, the fact that I rely on my car and have no real weapons areas nearby. I rely a lot on fast action, quick gathering, and group movement.
