Roxa was close behind, both swords were at the ready as he attacked and defended fluidly, using his air pressure and blade to block attacks aimed at Kain and the others blind spots, before darting in to attack Duo's. It was frantic and hectic. He saw the blonde man from the Itan-Sha enter the fray, his own swordsmanship vastly outweighing Roxa's own. His parries were solid and strikes even stronger as he pushed forwards on the offensive. Surely with so many powerful warriors facing him, Duo didn't stand a chance... Right?
"You're all doomed... Let me turn the tides... Let me show Kain the force that blocked him, and let me show Duo... Well... The future."
What on Allorum did that mean? Did Ave know something he didn't? He could feel his consciousness slipping as Ave pushe to the forefront of his mind.

Duo held his own, and he managed to deliver powerful blows onto the Saints. "What are you waiting for, Kain?" Duo smiled, "Look into my eyes and use your ability, you'll end the fighting."
Kain didn't reply back, instead his focused his power into a strike, attempting to over power him.
"Oh that's right..." Duo continued, blocking Kain's strike, "You won't dare do it, you'll end up killing your 'family' after all."
Duo reached out and grabbed Kain, tossing him to the side, turning his attention to Roxa. "You're at the peak of your abilities right now, I'd go ahead and tap into that demon of yours... you might be able to hurt me." Duo raised his hand and shot out a beam of light, similar to the ones used by Alessia, expect the need for the sun.

Before the beam hit Roxa, it seem to have stopped. In fact everything around Duo seem to have been frozen in time. "Sorry, but you lost." Sonorc said as he stepped forward, " You are no match for my power." He grabbed his cane, and pulled out his frozen sickle. He threw the cane sheathe at Roxa.

Duo turned over to Sonorc, not at all surprised by this move, and not frozen. "Foolish of you to assume so..." Duo rushed at Sonorc, swords in hand as he charged him.

"You damn whippersnappers never can listen." Sonorc said, as he swings his sickle down, making a massive mark on the ground, and ice swords rise up surrounding Duo. "I have been working on this since I ran into you. I don't care the cost, I will send you to Hell!" Sonorc turned his knife to the side, and chains hovered around Duo.

Duo stopped moving, looking at Sonorc he shook his head, "And you think that will hold me?" He got as close as he could until the line stopped him, glaring at him he spoke, "Go ahead and try."

"You are a fool. I have made this special so anyone with my blood or related to my blood, so breaking out of it won't be easily." Sonorc said as he turned the sickle and started to say the chant, "From the frozen winds plaguing the enternal land of Hell..."

Briefly Duo's smile vanished, "Blood?" He glared at Sonorc, "You're saying you're related to me? Do not be a fool, my only family member was killed many years ago and my brother I'm about to kill."
Duo waited a moment, he wanted answers.

"Your mother was slaughtered many years ago. That woman, the one who raised you, the one who cared and love your miserable and pathetic soul, was my daughter. I am your grandfather, and the one who will make sure that the world will finally be at peace, and that Kain's new family, will live on." Sonorc said, "Kain deserves peace of mind, and I will sell my soul for that." The symbol started glow, "Open up and reclaim your demon!" He lifted his hands up and slammed on the symbol.

A light started to cover him, seemly working in sealing him to Hell. When suddenly a massive amount of power was released, causing the sealing to stop. Duo reached out and grabbed Sonorc, his eyes were in such an indescribable rage.
"If you care for your grandson so much they I'll make sure he joins you soon!" He roared, taking one of his blades and stabbing Sonorc, "To have a grandfather is to be human... and I am not a human. I am this worlds savior."
He pushed Sonorc off the blade, looking back at the group, his eyes flaring with such power... he was no longer playing. "Next."
"SONORC!" Kain yelled, leaping up from where Duo had thrown him and charged at Duo. Swinging his blade once more at Duo.

Sonorc grunted... No words could come out of his mouth, for he was in massive amount of pains. No... I was suppose to steal his soul. Kain, I'm sorry... This old foolish thief failed.. He thought, as he tried to use his time dagger to heal him.

"Gramps!"
Roxa rushed forwards alongside Kain as his thoughts reeled through his head. Pushing his inner demons back towards the rear of his mind he gritted his teeth in solid determination as he forced himself onwards. He had promised Kain that he would bring his dream to life, that he would make it a reality. He promised that he would do it. Not Ave.
A small hiss, as air displaced around Roxa, pushing him forwards, past Kain and ever closer to Duo. Then, as soon as he came close enough to strike, he disappeared, vanishing straight into thin air before eventually appearing once again behind Dup, then, as soon as Kain launched his attack, he sprung his own, attacking the opponent with a dual pronged strike.

The two swords hit their mark, both Kain and Roxa's swords pierced Duo's body. Blood trickled out of the wound, falling onto the ground below them.
Kain didn't move right away, seemly shocked that both managed to make their hit. Kain suddenly figured it what was happening.
"Roxa, mov-" He didn't have time, the ground below them suddenly blew up with such a incredible force that it sent Kain flying into the air. Kain rolled onto the ground as Duo pulled the two blades out of him.
"That wasn't completely part of the plan..." Duo admitted, apparently he didn't mean to let their blades hit him, "But what can you do? Adapt." Duo started to approach the wounded Kain, Alessia attempted to stop him by placing a barrier around Kain, this did not stop Duo. He stepped up to Kain and picked him up, holding him by the neck.
"Do it, look into my eyes and end this. Save the world." Duo said, Kain did everything he could to not look him in the eyes, "Save the world already! DO IT!"
"I CAN'T!" Kain yelled, using his power to force Duo's grip off him, "I CAN'T SACRIFICE EVERYONE I CARE ABOUT!"
Without Kain's blade he did the only thing he could, Kain tackled Duo, starting to roll right down the hill they were fighting on. As they rolled down, Kain used Nia's fire powers and caught the two of them on fire, it looked like a big fireball rolling down the hill.

"Gah!" Roxa was thrown back by Duo's attack before gaining his composure again whilst he was in midair. Twisting his body, he made sure his feet were facing the ground before using air pressure to slow himself down at the last second. Landing softly on the floor he took a deep breath and turned to see Kain and Duo rolling down the hill, ablaze. He had to do something... Anything... He could kill off the fires around Kain, but then his leader would have no oxygen for a second, and that second is all it would take for Duo to land a killin by blow. He could slow them down, but that would achieve nothing either. Gritting his teeth, he looked around at his surroundings, trying to get an idea, a spark of inspiration...
And he found it.
"Ave... You want to be free..?"
"Of course, brother!"
"I'll release a part of your energy... Give you a taste..."
"Yes! Anything! It's been far too long!"
Roxa frowned as he looked up at the sun. He turned to Alessia "Alessia!" he shouted "I need you to somehow block the sun... Or anything like that, I need to shade the battlefield!"

"You do?" Alessia asked as she got up from the ground after being knocked down. How effective could she possibly be? He was the one with wind powers!
"I-I'll see what I can do," blocking the sun wasn't in her best interest, but really her powers were not that effective against Duo.
Alessia was about to undertake her most amphibious move ever, she raised her hands and began to make a giant barrier... around the sun. The great shield began to steadily wrap itself around the tremendous ball of power, the result was a nearly night-like surroundings.
"Whatever you're going to do, DO IT FAST!" Alessia yelled over to Roxa, feeling the strain of holding together such a powerful shield.
