"Freedom. No. Not quite... I'm not free, I'm just on a leash... A very, very short leash. Damn you brother, still, it's the best opportunity I have."

Ave looked across at Alessia, maybe she should be the first one he kills? No... No, the leash was tugging on him, she was not the target. That one, the one that's fighting with Kain, the one fighting with the man who had tried to invade his mind. Kain, the man who had tried to invade his mind. The only person that ever got to invade his mind was himself! And as such, no-one could kill Kain but him! He wouldn't allow it!

Looking around, he noted how the entire area was covered in shadows.

"Very clever, brother... Very clever..."

He threw himself forwards into the air, falling gently onto the ground he melted through it, before forming underneath Duo. Launching himself upwards into the air, he aimed to launch Duo away from Kain.

Roxa managed to break the two up, sending Duo up into the air. Surprised at first, Duo caught himself in the air and shifted his weight so he'd face Roxa.

"Just a small taste of what you can do...? Playing with me will result in your death!" Duo raised his sword into the air, swinging it down at Roxa with such force that it cut the ground below him up.

[Bartholomew]

Bart's eyes widen as Duo was coming down to probably kill Roxa, Roxa! Bart quickly got into a ready position.
"BANKAI 003!" Bart shouted, and his weapon transformed into a large punching dagger like weapon, and two swords chained off of it. He then pointed it at the gap between Duo and Roxa, and fired hundreds of pointed stones, their tips ablaze as they headed toward Duo to knock him away from his comrade.

[Kain Angelo]

Duo was taken off balance with Barts attack. He quickly moved away from Roxa and threw a barrier up around him, blocking all the projectiles. Yet the force of the blow managed to send him back a little, this clearly annoyed Duo.

"Why do you continue to fight even when your entire army has fallen!?" Duo demanded as he closed the gap between the two, "But do not fear Ex-Balancer... you shall join your army soon."

The earth around him was suddenly ripped up, flying in all directions but all converging on Barts with sharp spiked ends.

Bart grabbed the swords that were chained to the main sword, and he spun around, cutting the rocks from hurting him. He did take a spike into his leg as he slid down the ground.
"I fight to prevent anything evil this world. That is what it means to be a saint!" He said as he looked up at him.
"Bankai 002!" He shouted, as a rock giant rose behind Duo, and swung his fist down towards him. Bart quickly swung his sword sending more rocks towards Duo. Bart was breathing hard, hoping that his attack would hit Duo.
