Elysia frowned again. "When we are no in public you may adress me by my first name." It was more efficient, anyways.
She stood. "I am going to have my morning meal and then attend to my duties for the day. Do you feel well enough to walk to the dining hall or shall I summon a servant to help you?"

Ayalan looked with a half smirk, "Then I suppose you can call me Aya, Elysia."
He stood up and rubbed his shoulder, as he seemed pretty much okay, but he always had a fighting spirit.
"I should be fine, if you don't mind the accompaniment.." he then cleared his throat, "...just don't overwork yourself."
Aya said it softly, only out of the fact that he knew she had been struggling with her sleep only because of his conjectures. He felt bad to be honest.

Elysia nodded and left the room in a brisk walk, headed for the dining hall. She paused and looked over her shoulder to make sure Ayalan could keep up.

Ayalan had been following fairly well, his hand on his hip and the other rubbing the back of his neck.
He yawned and luckily, he was listening- the footsteps ahead of him stopped and he suddenly stopped-
Aya saw Elysia look over her shoulder as he asked, "Is something wrong?"

"You tell me," she replied. "Can you keep up?"
Elysia wasn't quite as formal as before; this almost seemed to be mocking.

Ayalan laughed a bit as he returned to a regular stance, pointing toward her, "I was only in a slight accident. I'm not crawling on my last whims."
He folded his arms with a smirk, "In fact, I'd dare say I could make it to the dining room before you could."

She almost smiled. Almost. "I doubt it. One of the few things I was happy to inherit from Celtik was his speed."

Ayalan laughed and folded his arms, "Well, why don't you show me that speed." He started to take a few steps in stride ahead of her.
"I mean, it's a good minute or two away; let's see if you can beat a wounded man, on his last legs.." He smirked, knowing full well he could run at the very least.

Elysia actually did smiled this time. Then her figure blurred ahead of him; the speed she had spoken about coming into play.

Ayalan looked as the blur rushed by and he grinned- his body came next to hers at the end of the hallway, teleporting the straight path down, as he looked to his next destination, allowing her to rush by again- he could only go straight distances that were visible fast, and it took a good amount of focus.
"I dunno Elysia, you don't seem that fast.." He teased as he focused again.

Her eyes widened slightly and she laughed, then took a turn. It wasn't the direct way to the dining hall, but he seemed to be following her. After all, he was wounded. Maybe she could wear him out first...

Ayalan arched his eye a bit, his path was a bit altered by her movements- he figured to at least fight fairly here and moved along with her- his body moved ahead of her with each long stretch but he was forced to run the short stretches, constantly catching up but never in the truest lead.
Aya's running was pretty decent but it had no chance against Elysia- so he had to do something different.
He teleported ahead of her with his quick technique, which drained from his spirit rather quickly, and blocked the next open door hallway- the rules never said he couldn't.

Elysia almost came to a full stop for a moment, then doubled back. She took a few more turns, trying to avoid the main hallways. It seemed the short distance between turns the harder it was for him to keep up. And Elysia was too prideful to lose in her own castle.

Ayalan smirked and sighed, too tired to use his teleportation skills as he ran through the hallways normally, coming to a simple stairwell, he slid down the railing and popped out the door, seeing Elysia was going to win as he laughed, teleporting next to her in a final move and he focused, and ...opened his eyes, watching her blur by toward the door, as he closed his fingers.
The plan had been to grab her hand or something, to stop her movements. But he lost his nerve, as he turned the corner with a smile.
"Looks like your speed is truly unmatched."

Elysia smiled again and nodded at the acknowledgment, a bit out of breath. She stood for several moments, trying to compose herself before replying. "And I was unaware you had skill in teleportation. It was good excercise for the morning."
She was just lucky the only servants awake yet were all working to prepare the morning meal for them.
