Roxa frowned at what appeared to be Everto's loss of sanity, he was just babbling not making too much sense. Of course some of the things he could piece together, the tower he was talking about was no doubt the Tower of Salvation, but then he started talking about who brought him back and that completely threw him, trying to escape the tower? The only person who had tried to escape at that point had been the spirit of Odin... Or had it? It was all so frustrating for him.
"What are you talking about!" he spluttered as he backed away from Everto.
"First of all, I don't even know who you're talking about, I mean, I only know of one spirit that had tried to escape from that Tower, and I don't remember that having any effects on any of the spirits it passed, and that means that you're probably speaking about something different entirely! Secondly, you call me 'old friend' you just contemplated killing me, as if it were absolutely nothing!"

"D'awwww." Everto frowned, "You don't know after all? Oh well, that's probably for the best. As for the old friend thing...I'm just playing the part of villain, they always say things like old friend and blah blah blah."
He made a mouth with his hand and mimicked talking 'blah blah', he shrugged and sighed.
"Well don't worry about that, the situation's gonna be resolved soon."

Disappointment was now what Alessia was feeling, this Everto was nothing like the Everto she knew from the Saints. A once honorable and powerful knight reduced to this was almost to hard to watch.
Finally she got up the courage to speak to him, "Everto..." She said, nervousness and fear filling her voice, "what do you mean by 'the situation is going to be resolved'?"

"Tuh-Tuh-Tuh!" he waved his finger at her, "Now that would be telling. And that wouldn't be fair to everyone would it? Oh you'll see it very soon, don't worry...you're gonna love it."
He paused before he dusted his hands off, "In the meantime, I really MUST be going. I got so much to do, so little time to do it. Good luck finding the Sky Hook, I hope to see you on the station!"

The Moonless Devil roared in pain as the blast hit him, making an explosion. As soon as the explosion started to fade, the devil was on the ground, most of it's armor was cracked and smoking. It appeared to have died, lying motionless on the ground.

I dropped to the ground, dissipating the cannon into the stone cross it came from, a massive cloud of wisps rising from my position before disappearing into thin air. I shook the extra glow from my clothes and folded my wings neatly to my back, mentally damping the Lunar I was emitting, before shouldering my cross. Yuna was looking at me with an expression of shock, and I wondered how I was going to explain all of that to the two Spirans.
More importantly, though, the Moonless Devil was lying in smoking ruin. Still, I hadn't quite felt it die... so maybe there was hope for Volkmar after all.
"I'm going to go check it," I said to Tidus, waving to where Volk lay. I turned and walked over to it. Explanations could wait.

The Devil laid there until Vash was just close enough to him. Then the Devil stabbed Vash with his fingertips, and started to drain the lunar energy from him, and into himself, healing it's armor.

I didn't see it move until its claws were already in my gut.
I screamed, not just from physical pain, but from the sensation of having my energy, my light, sucked away, as if it were sucking on my soul. I collapsed to my knees, losing strength rapidly, as the glow that surrounded me was drawn into those claws and disappeared, healing the creature as it stole away my life.

The Moonless Devil stood up, and roared at Vash. He kicked at Vash to side and looked at Tidus and Yuna standing there. He roared, and swung his scythe many times, making arc after arc head towards them.

Roxa looked up at Everto at first with a frown, but it soon turned into a smile as he pointed a sword at him "You can beat your armor that we'll be there!" he said with enthusiasm "I'm not just down with you yet Ferox, I wanna' see if you've learnt as many new tricks as I have, and if you're going to be on that station, then I'm going to be there too!"

Tidus was ready though, his armed formed into his best weapon: the Blitz Cannon. As the weapon was charging the Moonless Devil shot a blast at him and Yuna.
"Blitz Cannon!" he yelled, shooting the super-charged Blitzball out at neck breaking speed. Blasting through the wave and heading to Moonless Devil.

Good... Tidus was keeping the Moonless Devil busy while I tried to recover. I could feel Ketuluna's light infusing me with new power, but it wasn't enough - not without Xiza around. I was too weak to form a direct link with either Mothers or my sky-bound siblings, and I couldn't pull from Sayara, either - not in her weakened state, not in good conscience.
However, I was almost surrounded by Lunar Knights. I closed my eyes, opened my mind.
I didn't think Seth would help me, and Eli was too young, too new to the order, to handle the kind of contact I needed to make. Volk was indisposed, so that left...
Kurai, I said in the depths of his mind. I need your help.
If he agreed, I could use his channel to Zephyr to borrow enough energy to get me back on my feet. If he declined...
Well, there was a reason I didn't ask Seth, after all.

The Moonless Devil roared as he covered his scythe with his aura, and tried to block the blitzball, but it was too fast, and it struck the Moonless Devil in his shoulder, and broke its armor. He roared, and ran towards Tidus, and swung down on Tidus, making an explosion when it hit the ground.

Kurai was suddenly next to Vash, deciding that Eli pretty much had the situation with Seth under control. Especially considering that Roxa was now also in a position to help the young Lunar Knight should he need the assistance, a thought that put Kurai at much greater ease.
"What's the problem?" he asked, suddenly becoming surgically precise, all other thoughts other than the battle at hand had swiftly left his mind and left him a cold and calculated killer, just like he should be.

Xiza, still pinned to the wall, and his strength was weakened. He still tugged on his sword, but he couldn't pull it out. Xiza closed his eyes and thought Is this my retribution? My payment for my sins? He thought, as he tugged on the sword once more, then he heard 2 voices he knew too well. No, Xiza. However this will need to be your revival. Prove to us that you are the strongest Knight King we have made.Ketu said to him.
I want to, but how? I have no heart to care. Only memories of what a heart feels like He thought
Memories are good enough, but you know where a true Lunar Knight gets his power Luna said to him.
Of course... I will Ketu, and Luna. He thought, then he grabbed his sword with both hands and pulled it out of him. His aura then flared up and engulf by it. The Moon flared up, glowing up as nearly as bright as the sun would be in the sky.
