The energy in Roxa's swords flared upon seeing the Shade try to attack Eli. For a brief moment he felt Ave gain a small amount of strength but he soon beat him back, still unsure of how he had developed so much power. He looked across at The Shade, helmet smashed, lying on the floor after Eli batted him away. Perhaps... Perhaps now he could find out who he really is, why they seemed to know each other...
"Andy!" he called "Do you think you can hold her back alone?" he motioned his head towards Claire with his eyes still locked on The Shade. Ever since the first fight in Ignis, Roxa had seemed to recognize the armoured man, and The Shade had definately known him, even Ave had fled and perhaps now he could find out why...

Andy looked at her and nodded, "She isn't going anywhere."
The Shade stumbled out of the wreckage, the glass on his helmet was indeed cracked. A small part of it even before, showing some hair and his right eye. It was too dark to see what color though.
"Well Roxa..." the Shade spoke, "I have to admit, your little nephew here has quite a punch...more than you ever had when we were in the Saints."

Roxa nodded at Andy and took a step towards The Shade, his face pale and his hands shaking, barely able to keep a firm grip on his swords, the energy dissipating from them as he listened to his opponents words.
"What do you mean... When we were in the Saints..?" Roxa didn't know why he bothered asking, the hair, the voice... He already knew who it was but he couldn't accept who it was, no. Not until The Shade admitted it himself...
"Take off the helmet!" he roared, his voice choked with emotion as he looked back at Alessia "Show us who you really are!"

"Take off the helmet?" Shade asked, "Well if you insist...but don't you remember? It's me? You know..."
The helmet dropped off his face to show.....Andy!? A black haired, brown eyed Andy Jammer staring at Roxa.

Alessia stared in silence as the Shade took off his helmet, he looked like Andy Jammer in the same way Eli looked like Roxa, minor differences, but still holding an astonishing resemblance.
It took a moment for her to actually believe she was seeing correctly, Everto died along with many of the other Saints, the fact that he was here countered everything she had believed.
"Everto..." She gasped, she wasn't sure if she should hug him or run from him, "How is this possible...?"

Roxa stared at Everto, he had never got along with his fellow Saint since they had awakened but still, perhaps he had changed back to how he once was... Before he became bitter with revenge.
"Everto!" he yelled not sure where Everto's loyalties really lay, would he really side with the Ketulunians right now? Or was he going to fight alongside him and Alessia once more?
"Everto, come back to us... Back to me, back to Alessia, back to Van! Join us and the Kishu, we're what the Saints once were before we were sealed away by Duo, don't ask us to kill you here today..."

Xiza lowered his blade and stared at the dust cloud. "Something isn't right..." He said, then the Moonless Devil's hand came shooting out right for Xiza's face. Xiza tried to block it, but the Devil already grabbed his face, and slammed him into a near by large rock. Xiza swung his blade at the Devil's chest, and he cracked it once more, but the black hand came out, and grabbed his arm, and squeezed until there was a snap, and Xiza dropped his blade.

The Moonless Devil roared, but this time there were words, but not that of Volkmar's voice. "KETULUNA! DIE!" It said, then it picked up Xiza's sword, and stabbed Xiza in the gut with it, making him hang on the rock. He then turned around, and watched as the moonlight started to die down. He then ran towards the other warriors, and made a massive arc towards the heroes.

Xiza fell. Mothers' light began to fade. THe Moonless Devil charged the Heroes.
And that was the last straw.
I felt the last shreds of doubt disappear, and I turned to Tidus and Yuna.
"I have to stop him," I told them. "I'm sorry... I had meant, for you all to never know. To never know my secret. But the moment I do this.... ever Lunar Knight on the battlefield will know. I promise you; I will explain when I am finished. But you need to get the Heroes to safety; my power's too great."
Then I released the final limiter - the one I held over my own mind. I drew in all that remained of Mothers' light, and then....
....then the light from my cross joined with it, and my body blazed with moonlight. My moonlight.
Four thousand years I've roamed this world, hiding within me the power that was given to me. Four thousand years, and only a few have ever known my identity.
My wings lifted me into the air, and the cross cracked from the center outward, becoming a blaze of Lunar light, joining with me and becoming one with this human body that I wear. I could feel my arm twisting, forming, becoming a weapon white and winged, the Angel's Cannon. I felt the charging power within.
"RUN!" I shouted, and then I, Vash, Lunar Spirit, and the Angel's Moon of Guasto, released all of my power into the Moonless Devil, and the area was filled with a blinding light.

Kurai felt the sudden change in lunar energy and turned to see Vash readying the Angel Cannon "It was him... All along..." he whispered, ever since joining up with the group, Kurai had sensed a massive influx in Lunar Energy that was sealed away. He had guessed it was something powerful... But nothing like the Angel Cannon, that was the strongest Lunar Weapon ever created, a legend... A myth. But even more so he never expected it to belong to Vash! As the cannon charged Kurai remembered, since being told of the weapon he had taken an interest in studying it, even going as far as looking into how to get through the blinding flash of it's shot without ending up just that. Blind.
Pulling his headband down over both eyes, he made pre-designated hand signs and cast the jutsu, which would completely blind him temporarily, and prevent light burn. Despite his efforts however, he still could see the light of the shot.

Despite the intense light of Vash, Everto Ferox looked at Roxa with pity.
"You really are about as pathetic as when we found you...still the same...of you can put up the front now very well, but all you ever did was whine and cry about your mommy, your daddy, and your lost sister. Now it's no different, instead you're whining about past warriors who don't really care..."
He vanished and suddenly reappeared behind Roxa, "Aren't you at ALL curious? How I came to be?"
He vanished again and reappeared at the edge of the crater. "How am I alive?"

Roxa growled at Everto, it appears he hadn't changed all the much at all...
"Of course I'm curious Everto! You were like a family to me, you were family to all of us! I just want to see my family back together, what's left of it, back together just as it should be. Everto, I just want things to be as they were..."
He frowned at the former Saint and lowered his swords slightly "But okay. Explain, tell us all of your grand exploits that have allowed you to walk this Allorum..."

"Hmmm...should I monologue? Or should I kill you?" Everto wondered, "Ohhhhhh I'll give you a smaaaaallll monologue, you earned that much."
"I came back to life during the fall of the, no wait guess, no wait I'll just tell you....naaaah that's no fun, okay okay, you get a liiiiittle hint: that large tower." he held his hand up. "No more hints, I'm sure you know the answer. What am I saying, of COURSE you do."
He vanished and reappeared in front of him, "BUT...can you guess who brought me back? It was a total accident really, he didn't mean to...I'm sure he was just trying to escape the tower, not really thinking of what his aura does to the spirits he passes..."
He put a finger on Roxa's lips, "No shh, shh, if you speak it too loud...he might hear you. Lets keep what we said between you and me okay old friend?"
