Xiza's aura grew enormous, but I was already tapping into Kurai's abilities.
There would be no mistaking my identity now. Not with the touch of a Lunar Spirit on his soul.
I need to access your channel to my brother's power, I told him, still speaking mind-to-mind. In order to continue, I need your permission, or I could damage something. The human mind isn't made for handling the kind of power I would have to use to force you - and Zephyr would be rather... upset with me if I damaged his Knight.
I chuckled mentally. 'Upset' would be an understatement. Zephyr is not the, ah, calmest, of my siblings. Nowhere near as bad as Valerian, but still rather temperamental.

The Moonless Devil covered it's eyes as Xiza flared up, and then roared at him, not caring about Tidus or Yuna at the moment. It raises it's scythe and swung it an extremely powerful arc at Xiza, and then ran towards him.

When the arc hit his aura, it was simple dissolved into it. When the aura calm down, Xiza was standing there, his wounds stopped bleeding, and his armor was all fixed and white. On his chest plate was the Ketulunanox crest with markings going up to his face, his eyes were glowing white, and his sword was vibrating with powers. He swung his sword down, and sent a massive wave killing the remaining monsters summoned by the Shade.
"Moonless Devil, Avatar of Atrumus. You abomination, I will end you and save my kingdom, my moon, and my Knight!" He dash to Moonless Devil, and cut it's chest plate.

The Moonless Devil roared in pain as he got cut by the Ketulunanoxian. He didn't hesitated for another second to attack him, by attacking Xiza relentlessly, swinging his scythe and making arcs at him.

Xiza blocked all of the moves, and then he punched the Moonless Devil go give Xiza a bit more room. The Moonless Devil charged at Xiza one more time, with a massive arc covering his Scythe. Xiza swiped his hand over the sword, making it look like the sword he used on Volkmar the year before. "Divine Eclipse!" He shouted as he swung down on him. This made a giant pillar of light engulfing both the Moonless Devil and Xiza.

When the pillar died down, The Moonless Devil was on the ground, the blade on the scythe was broken, and most of it's right arm was on the ground. The monster's armor was mostly shattered too, but it stood up, with the help of the scythe, and then a massive black door appeared behind it, and it stumbled inside of the doorway.

Xiza quickly ran towards the door to strike the Moonless Devil down, but he couldn't hit it before it made it's way into the door. Xiza stood there, and shouted, "Armor, I need Sayara, Go retrieve her."
Armor nodded, and walked off towards where she hid him. Xiza took this time to heal his wounds that he had received early in the fight.

Armor came back with Sayara, who ran towards Xiza. Her face had a panic look on her face, as she didn't see Volkmar. "Father, where is Volky?" She asked nervously, she then noticed at the arm on the ground, and then she was silent.

As soon as Vash had made contact with him, Kurai had known just who or better yet, what he was. But still, before either of them could do anything about it, The Moonless Devil had already fled thanks to Xiza's onslaught.
"You." he said turning to Vash, narrowing his right eye "You're not a Lunar Knight as such, are you...?" he spoke in hushed tones, preventing those still oblivious to his true nature from catching on.
"You're the actual Lunar Spirit of Guasto..."

"Vash!" Sayara said as she saw her brother sitting. The way he was sitting, he looked like he took a beating. She ran up and buried her face in his chest. "Vash, I am so sorry. I couldn't train him, and he hurt you... Don't hate me." She kept hugging him, even though she sounded tired, she didn't let go of her grip on him.

Kurai simply nodded at Vash, the revelation was obviously a shock but he hadn't been quite too trusting of Vash's true abilities. He had always sensed that his comrade had held back, still, having the spirit of Guasto on there side was no doubt going to be more of a help than a hinderence. Especially with The Shade handing the third crystal over to Claire. But they had also lost Volk for now as well...
"Still, whether I trust you or not doesn't matter if the Ketulunians get aboard the station and wipe out the entire race. We've got to stop them first, and then we'll talk..."

I nodded back. Sayara was here, and she needed me; sensing his accord, I continued.
A Lunar Knight acts as a living conduit to the Spirit he connects to; I sent my mind through that channel now, connecting to my brother's power. New life filled me; I guess Zephyr was in a good mood today.
I didn't need to thank Zephyr; he already knew. I cut the connection, withdrawing from Kurai's mind.
"Thank you," I told him, and as Sayara's desperate plea registered for the first time, I smiled, giving her a hug.
"Of course not," I told her. "It's not your fault. And I could never hate my favorite little sis."

Kurai shuddered slightly feeling a large amount of energy coursing through his own body before being passed on to Vash, how he could handle that much energy he'd rather not have known. But still, the deed was done and he had other things to check up on.
Approaching Eli and Seth he looked from one to the other, not quite sure if the situation had been completely resolved just yet.
"Are we all calm on this front now...? Because I really don't want this to have to get violent if I'm going to be honest"

I stood, stretchng a little.
Truth be told, I hadn't felt this invigorated in ages. I wish I could just be me more often, but I know that that isn't possible.
"So," I asked Sayara. "What's the plan? What happened with Xiza and Volk while I was taking that dirt nap back there?"
