In the middle of the forest sat the Mother Tree, and in at the base of this enormous tree lay a soft bed of grass, a mound of brightly-coloured roses sitting in the middle of it.
In the early afternoon on the very day that Trucido Damnedblood fell, the roses began to rustle.
A woman lay in them, eyes still closed and senses slowly coming to her. In her half-conscious she could hear a voice in her head speak to her--a great, mighty but kind voice.
Lilith...
She twitched in response, hearing it.
My little Lily...it's time to rise again. You're back as you should be, how I wanted you to be. Here is your chance to go back to your normal life.
The woman, Lilith's, eyes opened then. Through the thick covering of roses she could barely see the tree high above her and she seemed to just know it was speaking to her.
...It doesn't make sense now. It will someday. You didn't listen to me last time and I've worked very hard to bring you back, child. You are mine again though, and now you must get up and live your life again.
It really didn't make sense. She didn't remember anything. She knew she was in Alberisato, she knew where she was and that she used to be a queen. She knew her name - Lilith - and that was it. Not asking the tree any questions, Lilith sighed loudly then, stretching her arms and legs out and climbing out of the roses. Looking down at her body she'd noticed she wasn't wearing clothes--this could be a problem. The brown-haired woman then blinked as she looked around curiously, thinking she heard something then not too far away.

A roar was heard within earshot of Lilith, as a giant creature stood up. It was covered from head to toe, in moss and vines. He looked at Lilith, and roared again, planing to consumer her as it's stomach caused it pain. It swung it's arm right towards Lilith, when a voice whispered 2 words. "Derecho Downfall." A figure in white said, as a wall of wind formed between Lilith and the beast. As soon as it's arm touched it, it fell under the enormous force of the wind. Yeligar walked out into the clearing, with the wind surround his lance. He notice that the beast was attacking someone, but he didn't see who it was. "Now, that I have separated you from prey. why don't you try to eat me?" He asked, as he snapped his fingers. The wall darken, making it impossible to see though, just in case it was a child, he didn't want to scar the child with this violent battle. He then pointed his lance down, and said, "Twister Terror!" The wind then started to violently picked up and surrounded his lance, making it look like he was holding on to a tornado. He then jumped up and stabbed it in it's face. The beast roared once more as it fell to the ground, dying. Yeligar hopped off, and snapped his fingers once more to remove the wind barrier. "Are you alright?" He asked as he started to pull the lance out of the beast's face. His back was towards whoever he saved.

Lilith blinked, not even fully sure of what had just happened. Her head tilted to the side as she watched the man not only destroy the plant thing, but then pull his weapon out of it. In some way she almost felt as though this was all very unnecessary, that despite the monster appearing to want to kill her maybe there was something she could have done about it...it just seemed hungry, afterall.
She was too, now that she thought of it. Hungry and naked. Lilith bunched up a grouping of the roses to try to blanket herself and stared up at Yeligar's back.
"I'm fine," she answered simply, quietly, "who are you?"

"I am sorry about that." Yeligar said, as he pulled the lance out, "Greenwards have a tendacey of eating any humans." He then turned around, and saw Lilith's trying to cover herself up with roses. The bush didn't cover all of her, and so parts of her body weren't cover. "Umm, I am Yeligar Maelstrom." He said to her, not recognizing her face at the moment. He took off his cloak, and toss it to her. "Sorry, I don't have much you can wear."

"...thank you..."
Lilith reached for the cloak that was tossed to her. It was heavy and had a lot of wear in it and definitely smelled like a sweaty man had it on, but it was enough for clothing nonetheless. She threw it over her shoulders and held it shut in the front, getting to her bare feet and cautiously stepping towards the man.
"Mr...Yeligar Maelstrom."

"It is but part of the job for a gentleman." He said as he look over at her. When he looked at her eyes, his eye widen. That face, it was the face that belong to the dead queen, Lilith! He looked at her, and asked, "W-w-what is your name, fair lady?" He had to ask, double checking that she wasn't a poor soul in the woods, with a similar face.

Her head tilted to the side again as he questioned her, something about him seemed off...it confused her and almost scared her.
"L-lily," she answered automatically, briefly remembering the much cuter version of her name the tree had given her.
"Is there something wrong?" she asked shortly after, her eyebrows tilting in worry.

"Lily?" He asked her, taking a breath of relief. He remember that Lilith only like to be called Lilith. "I don't think so... Is that short for something?"He put his lance on his back, " Do you know what happen to your clothes?"

Lilith shook her head.
"It is shorter, but it is what I like to be called," she answered slowly--she couldn't really say who called her it sadly, her family certainly didn't because she had no clue who they were. All she had was the Mother Tree which she remembered fairly well as the forest's guardian/god thing. She looked up at it for a moment before turning her attention back to Yeligar.
"I don't remember...anything. I woke up here. I don't know where my clothes are." She almost sounded ashamed to say it.

"Ok... There is a town about 3 miles to the west. I can get us a room there." He said to her, then he look at her feet. She was bare footed, and the path was a bit rocky. "It is a bit rocky... Do you think you will be fine?"

"I'll be fine," she answered promptly, following Yeligar to the path. She stepped lightly and moved a lot slower as the ground was very uneven and the rocks were sharp, though she did so without hurting herself too much. She didn't want to be a bother to him anymore than she was already afterall.

"Ok," He said as he helped her down the path. After a while of walking they walked into a small town and found a local inn. Yeligar pulled out a small sack of doubloons and pull out 2 silver pieces for the Inn keeper. "I would like to stay in a room for a few days. If you could, have one with two beds." Yeligar said as look around. The inn keeper was a middle aged woman, with straw color hair. She look at them, and asked Yeligar, "So, trouble in Paradise?" "No no no no NO!" He said, as his face turned red. "I just found her in the woods, and we need a place to stay!" "Alright, whatever you say." She said with a smile. She looked at the keys on the wall, and picked one up. "Sorry, but I have only one bed rooms left." "I guess that will have to do." Yeligar said, as he started to sweat. "Lily, the room is ready."

Lilith hid her face as the woman assumed they were a couple, her cheeks flushing slightly. She followed Yeligar into the small room and as she looked at the only bed in the otherwise soundproof comfy room she said, "I'll rest on the floor for the night. You've been good to pay for the room and are probably tired after battling that beast earlier so your muscles will be needing the rest."

"No, no. It wouldn't be chivalrous of me sleeping on the bed. Beside, I have to go out and get you something to wear." He said, as he placed the lance in the corner. and cracked his neck. "I will be right back, just make yourself comfortably." He walked out, and walked around looking a tailor shop.

"Thank you," she said again just before he left the room. Now that she was alone she looked around, noticing how...boring it was in here. The little table beside the large bed had a tattered bible or something on it. There was a small dining table on the other end of the room with two chairs.
All very boring. Lilith sighed and laid down on the bed, curling up in the cloak that Yeligar had given her to wear and stared towards the currently only source of light, the window. It was then that she noticed the very simple, single potted pink rose sitting on the sill. Suddenly her eyes widened and she got up to her feet, crossing the room to get a closer look at the lovely flower.
It was a very vibrant pink, soaking in the late afternoon sun. It was very happy, she could tell by feeling its strong stem, large leaves and thorns protruding from it. She adored it already and began to ran her finger along its petals. It was odd however, at the touch of her hand it appeared to move, leaves lifting upward at her finger, the flower itself twisting in a way that almost looked as though it were trying to nuzzle against her.
She giggled softly at it. It was unnatural, it was weird, and yet somehow it felt so familiar and pleasing to her. She liked this.
In a matter of minutes, she had seemed to 'train' the flower to dance--she was found waggling her finger overtop of it, the flower rocking softly from side to side; Lilith giggled away happily as she did so.
