It had been a few days now, since the boats initially took sail from the icy lands of Ghiacco, the weather had gone from hail and snow, to really sunny, to really dark, and now, in the days that passed, it had been quite cloudy and rainy.
Aya stood next to the rainbow colored female anthropomorphic cat girl(WOW that's a few adj.) steering at the helm, as he folded his arms. "I'm glad you came along, Caramel. I need more people to talk to than...." He motioned toward the small three person party behind them, as he smiled at her as he pat her shoulder, sighing.
He smirked, and looked back: They were on a rather large ship, on the other ship, a bit further away, there was the large gruff figure of her friend, Tav, whom Aya waved toward.
"It should only be another day now." Aya sighed and laughed, as he leaned back. When he looked to his left, toward the middle of the ship, there were three more figures: Namely, Ina, Rutger, and Leeith, all doing their own activities. He looked up, happy to see it was only drizzling.

Ina had been very silent the whole trip: She only talked to Aya when she did talk, and she had a very soft voice, almost beautiful.
However, she came up to the two, standing near Aya, they seemed inseparable, as she nodded to Caramel, Rutger, and Leeith as she walked by them, motioning her head aside, her way of asking, "How much longer?"
She then spoke lightly, "How's the day going?"
Ina frowned for a moment, noticing..that land was nowhere in sight.

Caramel was not enjoying the rain, being part feline and all, but she ignored it for the time being. She wouldn't worry unless it started thundering. Rain she could bear with, however- Thunderstorms were another story.
"You know me." She smirked at Aya. "I'll never pass up an opportunity to actually get out and DO something. Plus- as I said, I'm there if you need me."
Other than Tavarius, Aya was the only one Caramel knew on this Voyage. She wasn't complaining though. This was sure to be interesting. Due to her past pirating experience, long boat rides were something she was very used to. Another day seemed like no time at all.
Caramel looked around. "So, Tell me Aya....What are the details of this plan of yours?"

- [Bearer Of Hope]The swordsman was out on deck with Ayalan and the others. He leaned against the railing along the starboard side of the ship and finished tying down the rigging. While he had never been a professional sailor, the swordsman had often worked with ropes in performing tasks such as assembling tents and was therefore fairly familiar with knots. It had taken him a bit of time to learn the ship's ropes, but his dexterity had helped him become a rather efficient deckhand. Few could match his proficiency with knots, and so most of his tasks around the ship were ones that made use of those skills. It didn't take him long to have the rigging secured, and when the job was done he stepped away from the railing and leaned back against the cabin walls. The swordsman then directed his gaze over at Ayalan and the others. "..." Even with the sounds of the ocean surrounding them, the swordsman could hear Ayalan, Karamel and Ina talking to each other. The group had been traveling together for some time now; though they were a strange crew, the swordsman had observed them since the beginning of the journey and had time to get used to them. He continued to watch them quietly, and his expression betrayed no emotion. The swordsman's red robes fluttered in the salty breeze, but he himself remained motionless, propped up against the wall behind him.

Aya's voice picked up, "Well...basically. A full attack on the island...everyone's still working out who is taking over where..so if we take it, they'll happily accept our power if we can prove we can take care of the area." Now he looked at Ina, sensing her annoyance. "Essentially, Us Four- "he pointed at himself, Leeith, Ina, and Rutger" will invade the land area, and you and Tav just get to play defense and cannoneers. I know you both can do both at once..." He smirked.
"I'd say it'll be a day or two longer...and the day's alright. " He noticed Rutger, and leaned back against the barrister of the ship, laughing to himself.
"And then when we're done...while you're around..you can be our navy, You and Tav. If you want. I mean, I figure while you're still waiting for a way home, why not get some action eh?" He winked at Caramel, and then pat Ina's shoulder, as she sighed, walking by her, toward the others.
"What say you, Rutger? Think you'll be ready for this?" He knew the best way to get Rutger going was to issue a challenge afterall: He may have been a good psychology teacher on earth: And then he looked to Leeith.."Not your scene to talk much eh?"

The swordsman continued to lean against the wall of the cabin with his arms crossed and head tilted down. When he heard Ayalan address him, the swordsman's eyes flickered upward. "..." For a moment, the swordsman did not say anything. He considered the question Ayalan posed him, letting it hang in the air for a while. He closed his eyes. "...I know my part. I have my blade. That should be sufficient enough." The swordsman took out his Killing Edge and began to polish it with the edge of his red robes. He was diligent about weapon maintenance. "...Assuming there is nothing else I need to know about." The swordsman looked at Ayalan inquisitively. Considering the scale of the coming conflict, the swordsman knew that he could not afford to go ill-informed into the battle ahead.

Ina finally spoke up as she stood next to Ayalan for just a moment.
"The inmates may try to attack you, is the only thing I'd be worried about. I don't know much about your sense of honor in battle, but could you strike down an unarmed man?" She folded her arms, as Aya looked at her with a shake of his own head.
Aya actually spoke up, "You know, he's faced me before. And I'm a One armed man." He grinned.
Ina however, shrugged it off, as she walked past the crew itself, going into her quarters, and sitting upon her bed, reading up on some long needed reading, muttering to herself in an odd chant.

Caramel frowned at Aya. "I get to play defense?!" She snarled. If there was one thing Caramel hated, it was not being in the center of action. Tav was on the other boat, so it wasn't like she could talk with him either. Sure firing cannons could be fun, but she wanted to be in the midst of everything! This wasn't going to be as fun as she had hoped.
She looked at Rutger's sword and the urge to hold it overwhelmed her, but she controlled herself. She really was like a little kid at heart despite being 85. She decided it would be better to focus on steering the ship instead. After all Aya was counting on her.
She was secretly glad when Ina left, as Caramel got the vibe Ina didn't like her much.

Ayalan looked across at Caramel as she whined for a bit, and he smirked, folding his arms.
"Well, if you'd prefer, I can have Ina steer the ship and You can come down to the land area." He shrugged, "Doesn't matter much to me, as long as you're willing to take out the land forces with your weapons." Aya smiled, and looked over at Caramel's relief at Ina leaving, as he laughed to himself, but only secretly.
Then he looked back at Rutger: "I'd say the only thing that could go amiss here is the fact that the prisoners...we may have a mixed group. Some of these people ARE criminals..so we will have to judge accordingly."

Leeith had inclined her head at Ayalan when he'd spoken to her, but not replied otherwise. She disliked boats- in their current location there would be nowhere to go if something were to go wrong. And she trusted no one among the crew- not the anthros who were from another world, nor Ayalan's sister Ina. She barely tolerated remaining with the group, and spent much of her time sulking meditating either on the deck or in an unoccupied room of the boat. At the moment the latter was very appealing.

Ina had sighed, as she shook her head, opening her diary of sorts, and writing in it at a lightning fast pace, dotting her name before she closed it off, and tied it with it's bounds.
"Damn it all...Boredom strikes at the worst of times.." She frowned and shook her head, at times, she only spent her moments with Leeith in pure solitude and no sounds, or with Aya, talking up a storm of times past.
However, for now, she exited the cabin, and eyed Caramel, Aya, and Rutger, walking past them and going toward Leeith.

The swordsman nodded in acknowledgement to Ina and Ayalan's comments pertaining to the inmates. The prisoners could be wild cards... he made a note of that fact. The fight ahead would certainly be an interesting one. "..." The swordsman saw Caramel eye his Killing Edge, but he did not say anything. He then watched the other crew members pace around the deck. They were quite the ragtag team, all very unusual in their own ways... "...Wind's picking up." The swordsman felt the salty sea breeze grow stronger; his red robes swayed slightly, and he pushed himself off of the wall to stand upright. He reached up and grabbed one of the ship's ropes with his hand. "I'll adjust the knots accordingly." The swordsman swung himself up and began to climb up the ship's rigging. It did not take him long to get balanced, and he set to work on making the proper altercations. Even though he was at a highler elevation, he was still close enough to see and hear Ayalan and the others, though he was now out of their direct line of sight.

Leeith considered going below deck when she saw Ina approaching, but remained where she was. Of the entire group, she was the only one who did not try to make her speak- rather she kept silent as well. It was certainly an admirable quality, one that leeith appreciated after having spent several days in the company of others who seemed to never stop talking.

The swordsman remained above the group, keeping himself firmly suspended on the rigging. He tightened the upper knots to keep the sails firmly attached to the mast; hopefully with the wind picking up, it would mean that the group would make better time in reaching their destination. "..." He leaned forward and kept Ayalan in the others within his peripheral vision. He noticed Ina approaching Leeith and cocked his head to one side, observing them with a reasonable amount of discretion.

Ayalan nodded to Rutger with a sigh, "Do as you wish." He would have done it, or even Caramel, but if Rutger were so willing, he figured it was just fine, as he walked back away from Ina and Leeith, toward Caramel.
"If we all do this together..it'll mean changing the way part of the world works ya know." He tapped the edge of the barrister of the front mast area, before turning around.
He walked, saying to Caramel over his shoulder, " I need a few minutes." He walked toward the back, Rutger could see him, as he pulled out a book from inside his armor, writing in it, and incessantly stabbing his dagger into another barrier edge of the ship, shaking his head. He was confident, but ever since Ina had come, he had needed these moments.
