He took out a note book and scribbled down some notes, then finally looked at Volkmar, and processed what he said- was the appearance of a world-traveler so frequent?
" ...Well, yes. I hail from another world. I took a Plane Gate from my home world, and landed here... far, far away from any possible Plane Gate. "

A glimmer of hope lit in his eyes. If he reached Earth, he could retrace one of the mystical devices to return in his home world.
But he could not help but notice Vaan's forlorn look. "... I see it must be a difficult subject for you. I'm sorry. "
But there was something that seemed to make him... slightly joyful.

He cleared his throat- he needed to unveil his cards now.
" My complete name is Bradley Turia Zaubereich. I hail from the Material Plane, from the kingdom of Kilshen. I am the Archmage of Kilshen, known as the Crimson Lightning. Recently, there was a multiverse crisis, and people from many a world have joined a group called Redemption, in which I was included. I know some people from Earth, and actually... I am tied to an Earthling, too. "
He coughed. " See, I am commissioned by my kingdom to uncover and explore new worlds and report their culture and life. This is why I am here- after taking a Plane Gate, a mystical gate allowing for travel between worlds, I landed here, where Rutger found me. "
He looked to all of them, and waited for the skeptical spree.

He already knew that the Earth wasn't the home of magic, and save only very minor spells, he could not use his magical abilities at all.

He looked uncomfortable. "Ah.... well... see.... technically, it's possible, but it's not pleasant. My kind rely on the magic within our blood to, uh, control certain issues..."
His uncomfortableness was explained when, as he bit his lip during the attempt to create a convincing cover story, he revealed sharper-than-normal canines.

He took out his notebook and began jolting down more notes. " See, in the Material Plane, there is only one Vampire that quelled off the blood lust, and he used an enchanted cloak to infuse blood in himself... The cloak was ripped, though, the magic dispelled. Said vampire, a friend of mine, became more beastly... but there is hopes of recreating the enchantment of the Bloodstone Cloak, and we have made major pierces in manaengineering and micromagic... "
He continued to jolt down notes, then looked up at Vaan. " Can you stay in the sunlight? "
