The swordsman remained near to the group, quietly observing and listening to their conversations. They spoke casually to one another, and their dialogue gave him a clearer idea of who he was dealing with in this situation. His face remained expressionless.  "..."  - [Grim Journey]It had been quite a series encounters; a lot of people had joined Bradley, and a lot had been said. With so much going on there could potentially be a change of plans. The swordsman continued to pay attention to the others and listen quietly.  "..." He heard Brad's outburst and looked over at the mage questioningly, but did not say anything in response. |

If this were an anime, Vaan would be picking himself up off the ground, his hair in a mess as if confronted by a windstorm.
As it was, he blinked, feeling as if all of the above were true, and said, "Would you like to come with me now...? I'm sure it can be arranged."
The strider warked a question up and him, and he chuckled and patted it's head. "Don't worry, he doesn't bite," he told it.

Then he looked at Volkmar, Tidus and Rutger.
" But I don't feel happy at the fact I would leave these men so prematurely. "

The swordsman heard the continued exchange between Bradley and Vaan. He moved in closer as they continued talking, though he continued to remain fairly quiet; he was passively listening for the moment. "..." He continued listening in on their conversation and saw Vaan indicate to rest of the group. The swordsman decided now would be a good time to speak in order to help further clarify the situation.  "...It sounds like you have a plan. Perhaps you would like to explain." |

Volkmar was listening to conversation, and thinking So, this Bradley guy is from Tidus' planet... He then glanced at Vaan when he try to invite him to Nezzera. "Yea, I would want to go back there, and kill her!" He shouted at him, "Saying that me unlockin' the black moon would help me. Oh yea, I have a 3 foot scar that proves that."

Tidus did not like Vaan, he didn't really like Elexa either. For two very prominent reasons, 1: Elexa, despite later claiming to want to help them, tortured Andy Jammer in their fight on Earth. If that wasn't a cowardly evil thing to do he didn't know what was. 2: Elexa and Vaan practically kidnapped Volkmar and forced him to use the power of the Black Moon, he also had to wonder...did she knew what Xisa knew? About the Black Moon consuming him? He had to find out the answers, sides, Brad wasn't aware of who Elexa really was, he had to make sure he was safe.

Brad looked at Volkmar and Vaan's exchange, then briefly at Rutger and Tidus. Rutger seemed interested, and Tidus didn't look appealed at the idea.
" Well... I would like to meet your Queen. If only to learn more about your kin. If some of you don't want to come, suit yourselves. I have a mission to fulfill, and your help, Vaan, will be appreciated. "

Vaan nodded, looking briefly like he was considering, weighing several options. Then, he turned to Volkmar and Tidus.
"I... You don't have to come, if you don't wish." He looked to the ground. "My Queen extends her apologies for the things she put you through. If you wish to come, you will be welcomed; if you do not, it will be understood."

"Hmmm, I would love to visit her." He said with a grin. "I have some stuff that I need to settle with her, and I think that sooner will be much, MUCH better than later." He put his swords away, and put his right hand to the side. His left stroked his silver head, since his hat was caught in the wind.

The swordsman looked around; there seemed to be a ripple of tension running through the group. He remained quiet for a moment, reading the crowd and weighing his options. "..." The swordsman himself was intrigued by what was said; the Queen of Nerezza could possess resources that could help him become stronger. Additionally, Bradley and the others may have some means of aiding his quest for strength. However, the swordsman was also suspicious; in the worst case scenario, he could end up surrounded by hostiles. Bradley seemed good natured, but he didn't seem too familiar with the area, himself. The decision should be made with care. - [Ties Of Friendship]"...As long as you are using your best judgment." The swordsman nodded, giving a vague sense of agreement. As a wanderer, he had no geographical destination. Nerezza, the Crepusculum Kingdom... as long as the path ahead led him to true strength, the physical locations didn't matter to him. |

But he kept it quiet as he walked alongside the others to Nerezza.
