" Oh, not specially vampires. " Brad said, after 'hmm'ing. " I am interested in everything. See, people may find vampires revolting and horrible, but they are only a misunderstood patch of people lacking blood and having canines to better regain the lost blood due to a virus. "

Vaan snorted. "Huh. Here, we vampires are simply another race that sprang up. We were created this way; some say that we were once humans, but the strange magic of Nerezza twisted our bodies into those of predators to hunt what we once were. Then again, some people also say that we are demons risen from Hellius." He shrugged. "We require human blood to survive; magic runs thick within our blood, and magic passes most strongly from mother to daughter, the highest concentration being in the line of Queens."
