The swordsman saw the leather-clad intruders exchange blows with the other warriors; it was quite a spectacle. However, the warrior group was not able to contain all of the intruders, as one broke free and began charging towards the bystanders at the rear stands. "..." The swordsman stood between the intruder and his destination; there was no avoiding this confrontation. Digging his feet into the ground, the swordsman drew his Iron Sword. While this was not his sharpest blade, the swordsman's preferred weapon was not legal for use in most tournaments; even though this was not a tournament match, the swordsman felt obligated to abide by arena customs, regardless of the circumstances. Besides, even though its edge was dulled, the swordsman believed that his Iron Sword would still be more than sufficient for his purposes. Bracing himself for the encounter, the swordsman locked his gaze on the intruder. - "Now... we fight." The swordsman raised his Iron Sword and leaped forward at the intruder, cutting with a downward diagonal slash attack. After landing back on the ground, he pivoted with his foot and kicked backwards, creating some breathing room between himself and the intruder. The swordsman moved deliberately and with a solemn determination. "..." The swordsman spared a moment to glance over at the other warriors. They were some ways away; they'd have to take care of themselves for the time being. However, they seemed to be handling themselves well enough at that moment. The swordsman returned his focus to the intruder before him. His blood was pumping... the fight was on.

Julius smirked as his saber touched blood- which turned into a surprised frown to see that a lethal attack almost did nothing. He wasn't swift enough to retract his arm before the dagger stabbed at his arm, and he yelped in pain, retracting his sword and arm afterwards, looking at a nice gash along his arm.
" You... "
He couldn't complete his sentence, as he quickly crouched under a rogue that leapt over he and Elysia. With a quick look, Julius knew that that enemy was heading for the rear stands.
" Elysia. Keep fighting those, I'll take care of this one. "
Wincing slightly as he rose his sword arm, he began running towards the fleeing rogue, using his self-portals to advance quickly.
As he neared the rogue, Julius created a set of portals in front of he and the rogue, and instead of going for the chest, Julius instead stabbed at the knee- as a means to stop the Rogue.

(*facepalms* Sorry guys, I totally goofed on the invader's place of origin. They're wearing Ariadelvento armor, not Alberisato. Fixed the typo on previous posts.)
As the invader battling Ina made chase two of the throwing daggers struck their mark, landing with a dull thuck in his chest and left shoulder. The green garbed warrior staggered with each hit, yet he stood sturdy, giving only a brief reprieve to his chase. Striking a match against his glove he ignited his bomb and tossed it into the crowd near Ina. With the blade in his shoulder an underhanded throw was all he could manage, leaving the bomb to bounce and roll on the ground before detonating among the civilians. It was almost as if Ina's indirect fighting tactics had caused him to lose sight of her.
Bringing his dagger up to his shoulder the invader blocked Rutger's slash. The force caused his knees to bend awkwardly and left him open to the kick, which sent him prone on his back. Immobilized for only an instant the rogue rose to its feet and thrust out with its dagger towards Rutger's heart.
The one that vaulted over Julius' head made ready his explosive, his arm drawn back in preparation when the projected blade punctured his knee. Caught off guard by the sudden attack the bomb rolled errantly from his hand and detonated harmlessly on an empty patch of the arena. He turned his attention to Julius and lunged at him with a pair of quick jabbing thrusts at the man's torso.

These rogues were serious, and it showed by their agility and adept combat abilities, but there was something odd about them. "How could he take a rapier strike to the chest and not even flinch?" The question crossed my mind as I readied my next strike against the intruders, taking no time to equip a composite short bow, and one of my favoured items, The Gauntlets of Elements.
Drawing the bowstring back while equipped with my magically imbued gauntlets, the string sparkled with a icy glint before I let fly a frigid bolt into a glyph placed in front of me. Repeating this, and storing each of the bolts within the same glyph at a rapid pace, I dematerialize the glyph, storing the potential barrage for later and take to firing individual shots at the rogues limbs with deadly accuracy, the icy projectiles set to burst and freeze on contact.

Julius smirked- if that didn't stop the Ariadelvento Rogue from moving, at least his bomb was ineffective at all.
" How do you feel, rogue, about facing the Rift Saber...?! "
He took a small jump backwards, his chest armor being nicked by the pair of thrusts, and also giving Julius an idea of their strength- he lost his breath for a moment.
These guys are something else...
He counter-attacked by feinting to the right and spinning to slash by the left.

The one battling Julius had lost its most precious resource; it's manoeuvrability severely impaired by the damage done to its knee. Trying to leap over to thrust once more it's aim landed where the Vuoto king had lured him to. The man's slash carved right through the Ariadelvento invader's right arm, his dagger lost to the ground. The man only grunted with annoyance before leaping for Julius' throat like a beast. Though his arm was missing, his one hand and teeth were sufficient enough weapons.
Meanwhile the invader who had just detonated his bomb into the crowd held still for a moment, enough time for his right arm to taste the sting of the icy bolt Ingway had sent. The invader looked to his useless limb with disinterest before he spotted Ingway back in the stands. As if deciding he had inflicted enough carnage he sprang back and forth between the shoots towards the source of the ice arrow. Nearing his foe he leapt at the man and brought down his arm like a huge club towards his head.

The swordsman had temporarily stunned the intruder when he'd kicked back to create breathing room between the two of them; it provided him with an unexpected advantage. Though the intruder had attempted counterattack with a dagger thrust, the shortness of the dagger's blade made it easy to avoid. The swordsman stepped away and leaned to one side, deftly dodging the strike. "...Too slow." The swordsman did not hesitate; immediately after the intruder's move missed its mark, the swordsman raised his Iron Sword to counterattack. He jumped forward and aimed a strong horizontal slash at the intruder's torso. After finishing the attack, the swordsman backpedaled and took a defensive position. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the others still fighting. "..." It was a chaotic battle. The swordsman knew he would have to be cautious if he wanted to make it through the ordeal unscathed...

Gleeful that one of my bolts hit it's mark, I focus my fire towards the one Rogue, hoping to further impair him, but trying to pin him down with his agility proved rather difficult, causing me to grimace at my rather ironic juxtaposition of positions. Quickly forgetting my ironically induced displeasure, I remember my previously created barrage, and grin as the Rogue quickly closes the distance between us.
As he leaps at me, I use my gauntlets to imbue themselves with the immolating power of fire, and quickly burn through the ice I had placed on the man's arm as he tried to use the dense mass to assail me. Thought melting the improvised cudgel of ice, and the man possessing no weapon, he still manages to smash down against my gauntlets with incredible force, making my knees buckle against the brutish blow.
Regaining my composure, I manage to push the assailant back and summon my prepared assault above him as he falls back to the ground below the stands, haling him in a storm of frigid bolts. Breathing a sigh of relief, I stand confident as I watch, all to confident that my rain of projectiles will meet with my opponent.

" ...! "
Julius' eyes widened as he saw the man leap at him like a blood-thirsty beast.
He wants to... BITE me?!
Unfortunately, the shock was too great for the king- and he was thrown to the ground, with a crazy Ariadelventian going to strangle and/or bite him.
The rogue's hand secured itself around Julius' throat, and before he could no longer speak, Julius resorted- against his reluctance - to one simple thing:
" HELP! "

Ina looked off in the distance, if only for a moment at the figure currently attacking Julius.
She frowned, holding her weapons and trying to look around, only to find a long throwing dagger sheathed in her back area, tossing it with great accuracy toward the man attacking Julius, but then feeling one slice past her arm.
Ina had seethed a bit, but couldn't look to see if she was successful, running further from her pursuer, before coming to Ingway's position, without seeing him, and now, looking back to the fight. She was out of weapons though, left with just distractions and bombs.

The Ariadelventian rogue caught Rutger's blade directly in the chest, leaving a deep gash across the man's lower ribs. The rogue stooped low in response, no doubt the attack had pushed past the strong mental pain tolerance and into pure physical impairment. He groaned dully and swiped feebly at Rutger, pressing again and again with reckless abandon in hopes of landing a hit.
The rogue that held Julius move frantically over him. Though he only possessed a single limb the strength he exerted upon the king's neck was surprisingly powerful. Seeking to take a bite out of the man he tried any spot that seemed open at the time, including Julius' shoulders, neck and exposed fingers.
Meanwhile upon the stands, the one battling Ingway seemed unfazed by his shove or the inferno of his gauntlets as he rushed once more at him. His defrosted arm sat lifelessly at his side as he lunged. Unfortunately for him his reach moved no more than mere inches before the force of a half dozen bolts of ice left him frozen in place. His body was mounted to the stands by his one frozen leg while the rest of his body remained as if he was a still frame of violence.

Sahir moved slowly through the inner compound of the arena. The sounds of terror and battle were confused as only mere excitement of the tournament's escalating tempo. Standing flat against a wall she moved her head slowly over to peek around the corner. Not a guard was in their station of course, the attack had seen to that. Grinning at her own fortune she sprinted down the hallway, past the closed wooden doors till at last she spotted a grid iron gate at the very end.
She didn't need to see inside to know that the coveted prize of the tournament rested safely inside, though her eyes did moved slowly from side to side to see the room's security. There were only a couple men stationed on either side of a glass case that held the magic weapon. No more than the faint rumblings of explosions since passed could be heard this far in, and as such the men had ignored them. Instead they were amusing themselves with recounting their tales of barmaids and nights of passion, each one one-uping the other. Sahir only shook her head as she plotted her way inside.
Softly grasping the doors heavy handle she tugged. The door didn't give an inch and Sahir's brows furrowed in disappointment. She was going to have to resort to dirtier tactics if she wanted in and out without attracting more attention.

Julius' eyes squinted because of the pain. The rogue's strength was clearly surpassing his, and with his neck being strangled, he was starting to lose air. He squirmed to evade and free himself, but the rogue was starting to bite him. Though his armor on his body protected him, his neck wasn't.
And a great scream of pain echoed from Julius as the rogue bit him in the neck.
Now he needed to be free. His saber couldn't be used to slice or gut the rogue, so he used the hand-guard to smash it on the rogue's head, over and over and over again.
And he needed help. Soon. Already he was starting to numb all over from the lack of air, and his vision began to take a small black hue.

The swordsman's attack seemed to have severely crippled the intruder, as he now moved more feebly than before. The intruder attempted to strike the swordsman in retaliation, but the swordsman stepped around to the side and the intruder's dagger once more fell short of its mark. Between the swordsman's honed battle reflexes and the intruder's latest debilitating wound, it did not seem as though the exchange of blows would continue for much longer. "...You fall here." The swordsman raised his Iron Sword and circle-strafed around the intruder. He spotted his opening and jumped forward, aiming a decisive slash at the intruder's head; he hoped it would be enough to finish him off. After finishing his strike, the swordsman dug his feet into the ground; if his assault had failed to incapacitate the intruder, he'd need to be prepared to defend himself again. "..." Out of the corner of his eye, the swordsman could see the tides of battle changing around him. If the other warriors could only hold out for a bit more...

"Dammit, why do I always miss the beginning of a fight!?" Volkmar shouted to himself, as he ran into the fight. Volkmar was in a small medical center, healing up a recent wound, when he heard the explosion. He ran as fast as he could, and looked around for a decent fighter. He then notice one of them eating another. "He looks likes he wants to fight." Volk said as he walked towards him, with both of his large swords in hand.
