Yeligar was walking out of a store with a small box that he put in his pocket, and then he pulled out a cigar and started to smoke it. He took a breath in, then he saw the stormy sky that was raining monsters. "Looks like that letter was right..." He muttered as he watched the panic in the street. He ran towards the oncoming monsters, protecting the citizens of Nachtundtag once more. He ran towards a large monster roaring. "...Looks like I will enjoy you later." He said as he put out the cigar and put it away.
He ran towards the giant beast, with the white blade in his lance, as he pointed the lance at the street, and said, "Ice trails!" He said this as many white ribbon like projectiles left his weapon The trail they left expanded about 2-3 feet wide, and stalagmite of ice grew on them. THis created a barrier that left enough room for people to run by. He around, and casts some small spells to help protect the people, as they ran away from the area. He looked at the large beast, and sighed,
"It seems like I can never have a day to relax."

"I..." suddenly there seemed to be a spike of energy meaning something was beginning to happen, "I think it's time for us to move, this way." Amphion said pushing his way through the crowed to where the energy spike was happening.

Faey hadn't seen anyhing unusual yet despite wandering around the city.. Until the sky suddenly clouded over and something started falling from it. at first she thought it was just a freak storm, but then something large and heavy landed about 30 feet away, shaking the ground. She stopped and stared at the giant monster, her mouth falling open as she gave a small scared squeak.
Shiluya flew down to wrap around her shoulders "Hey Faey, what's that? Is it friendly?"
Faey shook her head wordlessly and began stepping backwards, away from it, before turning and fleeing for her life with another squeak.

Jasmine gasped as more Monsters fell from the dark clouds above, as the mage Amphion was running ahead one landed in front of him. Raising it's claws to strike at him, she threw her hands up instinctively and cried.
"L'rec!" a gold shield appeared in front of Amphion, protecting him from the attack. "Sh-Rl-az!"
Spikes appeared on the shield and fired off, piercing through the monster and causing it to fall over. Jasmine said in relief and dispelled the countering spell.
"We have to be careful, they're everywhere!"

Andy had drew his cleaver sword when he saw someone running from a large monster, without even thinking he ran to her. The monster was gaining on her fast, so Andy had to be faster. When the monster lunged for a bite Andy stepped in front of Faey, wrapping her arm around her to keep her close as he used his giant sword to deflect the monsters teeth. It had bit onto his blade and couldn't pull it away from Andy.
"What's the matter...can't get a good enough bite?" Andy taunted, using his strength and pushing it forward. His strength caused the creature to be sent backwards and land on the ground. "Then find a different prey!"
Andy looked at the person he saved and once he actually saw her face his eyes widened.
"Faey!"

Scott fixed the bayonet onto his Lee-Enfield and looked around "Okay, Monsters... They can be killed, smarten the hell up Scott and get sticking!" He said to himself, raising the rifle to his shoulder and drawing a quick bead on a monster which was chasing after a group of children. Firing a single shot, he struck the monster in its chest. Causing it to drop and spasm violently. "Someone care to explain what's going on?"

Faey grinned widely and hugged him hard in relief. "Andy! Perfect timing!" Then she backed off as she hjeard the gunshot, flinching away from it. "Eep!" Then she blinked and realized he'd shot the monster that had been chasing her. "Thanks. Who are you?.." Her gaze went from the guy with the gun to Jasmine, and recognized her, "You're Jasmine Loque, aye? Nice to meet you!" Typically hyper, she'd gone from scared to happy in close to no time.

"What are these things?" Kouichi asked, drawing the nagi from his back; in this situation, it was probably best not to scare people off with his lion form. He shoved a few of them back with the odd polearm. "Have you ever seen anything like them, Andy?"

Kouji had already drawn his staff and was fighting them off, wishing not for the first time that his first pick of weapon had not been something without a blade. Still, the staff was deadly in the right hands, and Kouji Minamoto's definitely counted as the right hands. The staff cracked across the head of one of the beasts, sending it to the ground, unconscious if not dead - a fact which was swiftly taken care of by the forearm-length blade that crowned his twin's polearm stabbing it trhough the heart.

"I got no clue what these are guys," Andy said, standing next to Scott and the Twins as the monsters began to gather around them. "But usually there's a reason why they're here: most likely a summon."

'"Think we were set up? Get all the 'heroes' here so they can be wiped out?"Scott said as he braced his grip on the rifle as a monster charged the group. He stepped out and thrust the bayonet into the monster's chest. Using all of his force, he slammed the monster down and pinned it to the ground. The bayonet emerged through the other side of the monster, Scott put all his weight on the bayonet to keep the monster pinned. Its arms and legs trashing, "Somebody kill this damned thing!" he shouted.

Just as I thought.. Amphion thought as he watched as the chaos unfolded around him, making a small note to thank Jasmine for the barrier as he raised his hands, knowing that he too can raise an equal amount of hell.
And in seconds it appeared in a storm of fire, smashing into monsters with incredible precision. The fire mostly took the form of large blades that would slice through the monsters, including a giant fire axe which cut off the monster's head that Scott had pinned.
Yet something bugged him, he was sure that this was only a small bit that was happening, a detraction perhaps.

Lana was caught up in the chaos just like everyone else was, but unlike everyone else she was a bit more prepared. Pulling out her sword and a makeshift axe she began cleaving her way through the monsters.
"Ugly bastards!" she yelled, sticking her axe in one's head and stabbing another. "Get the hell outta my way!!"

""Oh um, yes it's nice to see you too Faey," she said, keeping her eyes focused more on the battlefield. Adding protection spells and strengthening spells to everyone to help with the fight. Scott's comment though had some merit.
"Trap or not we can't say for sure, let's get rid of these monsters then we can find out what's going on here!"
Her eyes did drift a bit to see a flow of ice, she had caught a glimpse of the caster too as he was moving.
"Hey isn't that...hey! Mr. Maelstrom! Over-" she didn't get to finish her sentence, a monster had rushed up to her claws bared. She waved her hand and four shimmering spots appeared before golden swords shot from them, impaling the creature on the sides. Her eyes widened at this.
"Oh no...I meant to cast a shield debuff first..."
Why she was so shocked? Jasmine's spells were from the twilight god, twilight is the harmony of light and darkness. Love and hate. Protection and Aggression. Because of this nature Jasmine tends to use a defense and then attack. But she used an attack spell first this time, and like her powers with every attack comes a defense.
The swords that impaled itself in the creature did wound it, but at a cost, the swords began to melt with a curative liquid. Which wouldn't be bad if Jasmine ran the blade through herself, pulled it out, and used the liquid on someone. But she used the blades to fire from a distance. Some of the goo began to heal some of the creatures wounds, causing it to continue it's charge toward her.

"JASMINE!" Andy yelled, leaping in front of her and using his large blade to cut down the creature. That was way too close for his comfort, he looked at her from behind his shoulder as he kept his blade in a battle stance. "Be careful alright? Just keep focused!"
