The First Step (Plot Thread 1.1)

[Eli Ventus]

((This thread, as mentioned in the intro, some of the Heroes are going to be here as well. This is a good chance to step in right in the beginning of the story. Message "Andy Jammer" if you have questions or are having issues getting your character in.))

Eli could barely sleep, too much had happened in the span of that night to even hope to shut his eyes. From finding out the Heroes are coming into town to finding a wounded man in the middle of the night. They spent a good hour or so tending to the man's wounds until his mother was sure he'd make it through the night. Even then though the hope of sleep was something that just won't happen, he tried to nonetheless. Soon though morning came and Eli manage to get a solid hour and a half.

...what, too much had happened to sleep.

He woke up, still in his clothes from last night as he quietly moved downstairs to make sure he didn't wake up their guest. He saw his mother downstairs in the kitchen, making breakfast, more than usual probably to check for their 'guest'.

"Is he awake mom...?" Eli asked.

"I haven't checked on him since when I woke up," she explained. "And he was sleeping like a baby, I'm about to go check on him again."

"Alright..." Eli sat down, eagerly awaiting breakfast.

His mother noticed his extra eagerness, and needing something to distract her from the worry of the wounded man she asked him about that. "What's got you so excited?"

"The Heroes are coming into town today!" Eli said, grimacing at his mother shushing him. "Rina told me last night...before I found the man."

"I should have guessed," she shook her head. "Well...if you eat your breakfast and finish your chores quick enough you can go see them."

Eli pumped his fist in excitement as his mother finishing putting food onto plates, setting one down for Eli and heading upstairs to check on the 'guest'.



...Meanwhile, at the gates of the town, several of the dearly departed Profeta's Heroes were already heading into town. Their purpose in the town was the same...in fact startlingly the same: they all relieved the same letter from an unknown sender.

Go to Naghtundtag. You will find something that will change the fate of Allorum.

[Amphion]

Amphion was more like an unofficial Hero, so needless to say he never received a letter... but the reason he was here was because he felt a disturbance in the force realm of magic and had began to travel to the city in search what it was...

Little did he know that the Heroes had come to the city yet he was able to feel a familiar presence around him, pushing through the crowed the blind man searched around him to try to see if there was any threats whatsoever.

[Andy Jammer]

Andy clutched the note in his hand, he normally wouldn't play a gamble with such a strange note. But it appeared at Jasmine's house, addressed to him and her, telling them both to return to Crepusuculum. Who could have sent this? And why? These were mysteries Andy would have to find out alone...

But luckily he wasn't quite alone, he saw a face that he hasn't seen in over a year.

"Amphion? Amphion!"

[Amphion]

He could feel it before he heard it, Andy Jammer was right ahead of him, he had teamed up with Andy for a brief time last year and had run in with someone who seemed to have a grudge against the young man. They had departed away from each other along with another man named Rutger and really hadn't seen each other since.

He was supervised Andy had remembered his name, he could remember Andy's name but he remembered everything... other than his forgotten past. Which is ironic.

"Andy!" Amphion said with a slight smile why giving a wave to the Hero, "I suppose you're here because of that note?"

Despite being blind he could see more clearly then most men could, with the help of magic his observation skills were still incredibly impressive, he had after all noticed that Andy was clutching a note with a sense of importance.

"Andy wait for me!" Jasmine called, pushing through the crowd with a sense of urgency. Moving past large men and thin women alike to get to him, wasn't hard of course: follow the orange hair. Once she caught up he seemed to be talking to...

...someone she didn't really know. Andy seemed to know him though.

"Oh hello," she said, getting her greeting out of the way.

[Andy Jammer]

"Sorry Jas," Andy apologized, turning to Amphion. "Yeah I am here because of that note, how did you...wait, don't tell me you got one too?"

[Julie Clementae]

Faey had gotten a letter telling her to go to Nachtundtag, which was weird to begin with considering she'd been on Earth at the time. What really concerned her was the "somehing that will change the fate of Allorum" part. That, combined with the fact that she had absolutely no clue who had sent the letter, definitely put her on edge. In her rare cautious mood, she decided to go in what she was most comfortable in- an oversized hoodie, baggy jeans and no shoes. She had the hood pulled up over her head and was just wandering around, looking for anything odd.

[Amphion]

He shook his head, "I never received a letter, I'm merely here because I felt something... uneasy." He nodded when he found the word to describe it, "The fact you're here only makes me more curious about these circumstances."

Amphion glanced at the woman standing next to Andy, "Hello," he said politely, "My name is Amphion. It's nice to meet you."

[Andy Jammer]

"A...disturbance?" Andy said, suddenly feeling an a knot tie up in his stomach. If Amphion didn't get a letter...yet he sensed something...that generally was not a good sign. "What kind of disturbance?"

[Kouji - Hikari no Shiro Okami]

Kouji stepped into Nachtundtag, looking around, ready for anything. The letter was in his pocket, his bandanna in his hair, his eyes wandering across the landscape. Kouichi was standing next to him, his undershirt off and tied around his waist, revealing the 'tattoos' that wound down his arms. They had both gotten the letter, but not as such; their cell phones had recieved it as a text message, and that had sent shivers down their spines as they remembered how their first adventure had been triggered.

You will find something that will change the fate of Allorum.

So they had packed up and come...

[Kouichi - Yami No Kuro Raion]

"Kouji, look over there!" Kouichi called, pointing over towards where Andy, Jas, and someone he didn't know were talking. He started to run towards them, waving. "Heyyyy! Andy! Jas!"

[Amphion]

"I'm... not sure," Amphion sounded doubtful, something that usually didn't happen to him, "I'm here investigating it, which should yield some interesting results. Would it be a bother if I traveled around here with you? Obviously you're tied into this already so it would serve the both of us if we traveled together."

He was puzzled about this boy, great things seemed to follow him around yet an equal amount of terrible things did too, what could fate have planned with you, Andy Jammer

[Andy Jammer]

"No it'll be no issue, I can trust you to have my back and..." he paused, the yelling from behind him caught his attention. His eyes landed on familiar people and smiled.

"Hey! Kouji, Kouchi! Over here!" he yelled, grinned from ear to ear as they ran to him. "What are you guys doing here?"

[Amphion]

Amphion didn't speak, instead he stayed silent why letting his thoughts flow around him. He assumed that these two new boys were also Heroes which clearly meant something was happening, cloud they be gathering all the Heroes for some sort of powerful strike, attempting to kill them all in one blow perhaps? Whatever it was Amphion was on full alert, his magic scanning everyone around him. It may not have looked like it though for he looked completely relaxed.

[Kouji - Hikari no Shiro Okami]

Kouji, following at a more relaxed pace, smirked in Andy's direction.

"Good to see you again. You get a note, too?"

He crossed his arms, giving Andy a quick look before turning his attention to Amphion. "Who's this?"
