Plot Thread 1.1 Prep and Departure

[Ma'at]

Ma'at simply sighed at Ra's command of the situation- no one was above the law. Listening to the ramblings of mana and magic, she averted her gaze to the folder. She read it quickly like a case brief and threw it back to the table, closing her eyes.

"...may as well make the most of this.."

Deep down inside though? She couldn't wait to reveal this entire case as a hoax and a contradiction for the world to see.

She looked at Isis with a face of familiarity, Ma'at had never forgotten a face, wondering if the feeling was reciprocal. She spole, "If you can use it to heal, do you think I can use it to deliver justice to the world so you never have to heal an injured soul again?"

Ma'at smiled lightly, following the group closely as they were her only protection until a weapon of her own could be procured- she only carried her gavel after all.

[Bast]

She took a set of tility belts that seemed to have been custom-made to enhance her figure without looking stupid or inelegant; she reached beneath her skirt and withdrew a pair of clips, undoing the legs of a pair of stylish pants that fell loosely to cover her legs. SOmehow, the outfit also didn't look inelegant or unstylish; strange, possibly, but it worked together. Her smirk dared anyone to say anything about it. The last of the utility belts clicked into place, and suddenly she was all business.

"Curiosity killed the cat," she said, shrugging, "but they also say satisfaction brought her back."

[Monthu]

"No offence, lady." He said, looking across at Bast. "But I was always more of a dog man myself..."

[Bast]

"We can't all have taste," she said dismissively. "Now, how does this... portal, whatever it is, open to take us to SSL-003?"

[Monthu]

"Oho! Touché, well well, this cat's got claws..." He said with a round of false applause, propping his bow under his arm to do so before taking it back in hand in order to be prepared for whatever they may find waiting for them inside.

[Ra]

Ra grabbed his pack, and checked everything. Once he checked, he put on his backpack and stood at the massive hole. "Alright, we are prepared." He shouted to the scientist. They all scrambled away, and got behind panels, and started to flip the switches. There was loud machinery being twist and turned, and then Ra looked at his pocketwatch. "Alright, his machine should be set up and ready to run in 3...2...1..." He said to himself, as there was beam of light came on, and the a matellic bridge came from the side and into the light.
"This is it!" He said as he looked at the light. He then walked calmly into the pillar of light and vanished.

[Monthu]

"Either that is really god damned cool... Or we are all tripping." Monthu said as he raised an eyebrow at the pillar of light before nudging Bast with his elbow.

"By all means... Ladies first, if you come back with like, your head missing or an extra arm, I'll assume going in is a no-no."

[Bast]

She rolled her eyes. "Men. Cowards, every single one of you. I'll see you boys later!" she called as she stepped forward into the light.

[Monthu]

"What can I say? I'm a big scaredy-cat!" He snickered as he followed Bast into the pillar of light, bow in hand.

[Ma'at]

At this point, Ma'at had laughed, and shook her head, she looked at her backpack- there within lied a full set of older Egyptian armor meant for over the underclothing- she wore it and looked like a bonafide royal guard with a spear in hand. She had a decent set of armor, light and flexible with an older sword at her hilt- she was astounded. She changed just in hopes of keeping it all, and watched the others fall in.

She looked out and back at the others, "if this is all a hoax, let's have a party when I'm done with work. If this is all true, then... Wake me up from this horrible dream."

She walked through, to humor whomever Was playing this sick joke.

[Isis]

Isis checked all of her medical supplies, and then got ready to go through. Before she did, she closed her eyes, and then opened them. She ran though quickly, and when she did, the portal shut on their end.

[Ulysses Kondo]

Set was standing there at attention, as all 6 members walked though the portal, and when Isis walked though, the portal closed. Set then announced, "Hello, I am Recon officer, Set. It is good to meet you all." As he gave them a salute. He then reached into his backpack, and pulled out maps for everyone.
"This planet is inhabited by human beings, and according to them, this planet is called Allorum." On the maps there are 10 x marks all of the different continents.
"The different areas are called Kingdoms, and they all devoted to an 'elements', such as we are here in the kingdom called, Vuoto. This kingdom is devoted to the void element. Our first mark is about a half mile that way."

[Bast]

She gasped as she looked around, incredulous at the change in scenery.

"THis isn't a hoax, is it?" she asked, excitement and wonder exuding from every pore.

[Monthu]

This place... It was completely empty of anything except salt on the ground. Even the wind was still, which was perfectly fine by him, made his shots easier than ever! Reaching to his quiver, he pulled out a single arrow and nocked it, keeping the string loose he just liked the safety of knowing that if he hit any trouble he could instantly pull back that arrow and let fly. He felt uneasy, was all of it true? Were they really stood on another planet right now? Looking down at the map it was a landscape that he didn't recognize.

He decided it best to simply play along for now.

[Isis]

Isis, like Monthu and Bast, was in awe at this place. She lived in Egypt, knowing a vast emptiness, but this felt different. She could understand why it was the land of the Void. "Excuse me, Mister Set?" She asked him, "Do you know how to manipulate Mana to use magic?" She slightly blushed, feeling childish for asking that.
