Falcon Strike. (Thread 2.1)

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

In a small town, Zweileaf about a few miles away from Nemus Village, has a house where Yeligar Maelstrom lives. The green haired man was tossing and turning in bed, mumbling the word ‘no’ over and over, then he open up his eye. He sits up in bed, and put his hand over his eye. “It was a dream…” He looks over and puts on his eye patch.

Yeligar steps out of his house, dressed in some leisure clothes, and takes in the breath of fresh air. Yeligar walks down to a café, and orders his meal. He pulls out one of his cigars cuts off the end, and lights it. It was suppose to be a relaxing day…

[Ra]

Ra was laying on the ground, examining the town though a pair of binoculars. He pulled his eyes away from the binoculars and looked over at Set. “Are you sure that this is where the next marker is?” He asked as he stood up. He wiped the dirt off of him, and cracked his neck.

[Ulysses Kondo]

"Yes sir." Set said, as he scanned with a radar, making a loud beeping noise as he pointed at the town. "It's right there, no way around it sir." He put the radar away and stood at attention.

[Bast]

Bast sat in the branches of a nearby tree, watching the rest of the team with a somewhat-bored expression. "What's so special about these 'markers', anyway? If this planet's so 'crawling' with magic, why do we have to be out here, searching for these things? Why can't we just set up wherever and then get out of here?" She swung her legs idly back and forth.

[Monthu]

"Why so curious kitty-cat?" Monthu asked, perched on a branch higher up, bow in hand, monocular flipped down over his left eye, also scouting the village ahead. "Boss said we should follow his orders, we should do as such, besides, we all know you felines and curiosity are a really bad combination."

[Ra]

"Mana is plentiful here, however there are areas that mana is more concentrated, and therefore easier to make the machine gathering. If we do it somewhere else, then it could take longer to start it up, therefore harder for us to get home." Ra said, as he looked at the town closer. "Monthu, how does the town like? Can you pick up on any information?"

[Monthu]

Monthu reached up and flicked the monocular's zoom vision up a notch and gave the village a quick scan, relaying what he could see to Ra.

"The place is pretty small, more a village than anything, lots of cover around for us to hide in too, there doesn't seem to be a lot of people either, those that are there are unarmed, there's the occasional guard with maybe a sword or spear, but form the way they're carrying them... They don't see enough trouble to be good with them."

[Bast]

SHe pushed herself out of the tree, landing noiselessly and gracefully in a crouch next to Monthu. "Would you like me to go down there and check it out?" she asked. "It'll give me something to do, and I might be able to find out something useful."

[Monthu]

"What? Like how much of their stuff you can carry in your paws? Hmph." He looked across at Ra. "I can't let Hello Kitty here have all of the fun, besides, protocol dictate no-one moves alone, squads or pairs are always best. Permission to also go scout out this village? It is my specialty after all."

[Ma'at]

Ma'at looked and closed her eyes, the idle banter of back and forth speech started to sound like the witty comments of witness and suspect: defense lawyers and prosecution were not so common in her area of power. It more worked like magistrate and guilty.

However, she looked to Monthu and Bast, closing her eyes- she wouldn't go ahead without being invited along- she knew her specialty would come before a battle- she knew how to avoid them. Not how to start them, as he imagined these two would more likely kill over talk....maybe.

Ma'at couldn't judge their actions, just their intentions- she stood up without a word, ready to join or to hold position.

[Isis]

Isis was writing some observation about the plants around her, and studying them, defiantly having a field day with this. "Wow, the plants here are amazing!" She said in glee, as she took some samples, "What is this place called, Set?"

[Ulysses Kondo]

"The Kingdom is called Alberisato. This kingdom has an abundance of plants, and they have spell casters using plants, called floramancy." Set said as he hoisted up his bazooka, and aimed at the town. "I'm ready, sir." He said as he put his eye on the scope.

[Ra]

Ra put up his hand, and then waited for a few seconds, then he lowered his hand. "Now. Try not to kill a lot but make them scatter." He told Set.
Set pulled the trigger, but instead of a rocket being fired, mana was being absorbed into the barrel of the bazooka, and then he fired a large ball of mana towards the town. He did this a few more time at the sleepy town.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Strikes around the city of large arcane explosions. People start to scream and panic as they run around, and Yeligar leaves his table to see what he can do to help. A large glowing ball heads straight for him, but before it does, Yeligar mumbles some words, and a barrier appeared around, making the explosions effect not as deadly.
Yeligar sees some guards, and runs over there. "Hey, Get the people to head south, the attack is from the west. Get them to Nemus village! I'll draw the fire away from you guys" The guards nod, and stated to direct the people to the south.
Yeligar reaches for his lance, but then realized, "Damn... I didn't bring it. Looks like I have to do magic..." He put his hands up, and fire a ball of fire towards where the fires came from.

[Ra]

"Look out!" Ra shouted, as he shoved Set out of the way of the fire ball. He stood up, and cracked his knuckles. "Looks like we have a fighter... Monthu, Set, stay here and fire at the town. Everyone else, come with me!"
Ra pulled out his sword and started to run towards the one eye mage.
