Falcon Strike. (Thread 2.1)

[Ma'at]

Ma'at opened her eyes and went for a non lethal strike to the back of Yeligar's head, a hand ready to push away a counter attack.

"Why can't you make things easy, Ra??," she had stated, in awe at his disrespect for a warrior, especially after his stupid actions with Set to attack a civilian colony.

Ma'at however felt it necessary to help Ra, but her lack of magic skills made her feel inferior, as she looked to Ra, hoping more backup than just her spear would come.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar raised his shield behind his head, to block Ma'at's attack. He quickly then push away Ra, and Ma'at, and got some distance between the two of them. "All you have to do, is to walk away. I don't want there to be bloodshed." He said. It seems violence and war traveled him, he thought.

[Ra]

"I am completing the mission, I recommend that you do the same." He told Ma'at with a slightly angered tone.
Ra stood there, and held his cuff up to his mouth. "Set, can you fire the mana well device?" in a barely audible tone,
Set responded back, "Yes sir, but it might be dangerous."
Ra nodded, and whispered to him, "Alright, take aim, and I'll let you know when to fire." He then gave charge to Yeligar once more.

[Andy Jammer]

He came from the crowd, moving fast, once he got close to Ra he threw his fist at his chin.

"Shoryuken!" he yelled, sending Ra into the air with an uppercut. Andy Jammer landed on the ground, between Yeligar and Ra. "You want him? Fight me instead!"

[Monthu]

An arrow landed at Andy's feet. From where was impossible to tell, Monthu was carefully using one arrow to knock another onto a separate flight path in order to keep his location well hidden. In reality he was slowly moving from one tree to another, his monocular carefully locked onto Andy as he stealthily stalked back into cover, preparing to launch another arrow if he made a move towards Ra.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at watched Ra launch a short distance as she pulled away from the battle, she stood between him and the enemies, with her spear held out in a defensive manner.

"That's enough, your efforts will only result in more damage to this village."

She looked around quickly- the civilians had scattered to the point of the place looking like a ghost town.

Ma'at watched the new comer closely- his sword was quite the marvel and his abilities based on the uppercut were impressive. She then put her spear out, and charged both men, to give Ra, Monthu, Set, and Isis some time.

[Andy Jammer]

The arrow was the first thing on Andy's attention, his eyes traveled the area with no luck in finding the attacker. With the other attacker charging at him and a threat of an arrow, he had to somehow stop both...

...and there was one move that could.

"Shinku!" he slammed his foot to the ground, when Ma'at got close suddenly he launched into a high powered spin. "Tatsumaki Sempukyaku!"

The spin was surrounded with a vortex of energy, not only trapping Ma'at in a spin but able to deflect any arrow shot at him.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at winced and closed her eyes- despite being drawn into Andy's attack, she felt like she was defending against kicks and punches, as she then held her spear out, and spun with it, not knowing what else to do in a desperate attempt to either get out, or hurt Andy- she was at a loss at how her sides ached in pain.

"Haaaaaaaaaah!" She yelled as she spun and tried to attack furiously, not knowing if it would amount or yield to any results.

[Monthu]

Monthu looked at the vortex, shocked at someone being able to produce such energy but then swiftly snapped his concentration back into focus.

So, a vortex, if I launch an arrow it will simply be deflected, the rotation arc is too wide to penetrate, if I have any hope of pushing through, I need to hit it directly on the tip with one of my awlpike arrows. The tight rotations at the top will in turn spin my arrow and effectively turn it into a drill, hopefully breaking through his defense.

Pulling out a blank shaft and a long thin, almost needle like, arrow head, he screwed them together and nocked it alongside a normal arrow. Releasing, the awlpike collided with the normal arrow in mid-air, sending it plummeting down and landing directly on top of Andy's vortex.

[Andy Jammer]

A sound emerged...and a large spiked yo-yo cut apart the arrow that was about to land. Leah Hart flicked back her yo-yo and began to look around the tree.

"Due to the speed and accuracy of that shot..." she mumbled, looking at the trees around the area. "Can't check them all so..."

She adjusted her yo-yo and more spikes form, she then shot it out and began swinging it at the trees. Cutting them down.

Andy was hit with spear though and broke his attack, he grimaced, drawing his large sword.

"Who are you people?!" he yelled.

[Monthu]

The tree in which Monthu was perched was sliced, it looks like he had no other choice then. He leaped from the tree like a bird of prey, landing on his feet he dropped instantly into a roll before landing onto his knees, nocking an arrow and taking aim at the girl whom had attacked him. He frowned for a moment, he wasn't in the business of fighting women usually, but she was acting with aggression, protocol demanded he take her down.

"Sorry, missy!" He called before launching the arrow towards her, already he was nocking another one and releasing, better safe than sorry. Rising to his feet he quickly took a few steps back in preparation for any counter-attack.

[Ra]

Ra swung his sword, making balls of mana heading straight towards Andy, and Yeligar. "Enough. Set, fire it now!" He shouted into his communication device.
Set took aim, and he fired the device towards near where Andy, and Yeligar were. Ra pulled out his portal device. "Team let's go!" He said as he ran in.

[Isis]

One of the mana balls struck Isis, without anyone noticing. "AUGH" she lightly screamed, and was blasted back into a destroyed house. Some of the debris came crashing down around her, trapping her.

[Ulysses Kondo]

Set got up, and started to run towards the portal, but he kept firing mana balls towards Andy, Leah, and Yeligar until he got to the portal. He jumped in, and vanished.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at stated, "I am a harbinger of justice, and we are here for our own reasons. I-"

Then she was interrupted, feeling Isis' presence had disappeared, then seeing the two warriors at her sides, she sighed and looked down, spear planted in the ground.

"...I will not allow you two to defeat me here."

She swung her spear in a circle, pushing her opponents back before dodging out of the way behind a house, running for the portal.

A tinge of guilt hit her though, and Yeligar and Andy could sense it- she knew Isis was somewhere around, but if Ma'at stayed, she would be dead.

Ma'at made it to the portal with speed and skill, and looked back, ashamed of herself, and she motioned for Monthu and Bast to get in before she did.
