Falcon Strike. (Thread 2.1)

[Monthu]

"Got it." Monthu said, suddenly getting his game head on. Reaching into a pouch, he pulled out a small arrow head lined with a C4 charge along with pressure cap on the tip so that it would detonate on impact. He swiftly pulled out a blank shaft and screwed the arrowhead on before nocking and taking aim, the head was one of his 'lights' which meant the explosive was more distracting than damaging.

This guy knows where we are... Best to confuse him a little...

Looking at his arm, he saw the scarf wrapped around it was still, he frowned, he needed a wind presence. Looking around him he could see a few trees rustling lightly, looking to his left and right he realized he was between trees, meaning the current was further out. Aiming up and to the right, he fired, the arrow flew straight and true before turning slightly in it's path and landing behind Yeligar, detonating the C4, setting some of the fleeing civillians to jumping.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at couldn't believe what was happening- these were civilians, people who if were approached calmly would have welcomed them.

More so over, they were human.

She was angered, especially at her own unit leader for ordering this so illegally.

However, knowing she would be dead otherwise, she rushed in with Set, spear in hand, ready as she went straight for Yeligar- once he was out of the way, the civilians would have been to cover by then and the mission could continue.

[Bast]

Bast was about to roll her eyes at the heavy-handed approac - honestly, they didn't need all of this firepower - when a ball of fire materialized out of thin air and headed straight for them.

Suddenly, all she could think about was how much she wanted this mana stuff they were after. Magic, and all it could do... that power, she wanted to make her own.

She charged forward, feeling some strange current, and she didn't even notice herself fading out as she struck forward past the scattering civvies towards the guards, one elegant fan coming from a sheath at her back, just a little nick or cut to panic them, small strikes towarsd each guard. She laughed as she worked, back and forth, back and forth - they had no idea what hit them as she kept them occupied, keeping them away from Ra and Ma'at while the other two dealt with Yeligar Maelstrom.

[Isis]

Isis runs behind Ra and Ma'at, but she didn't have her knife out. She learned some magic from Set the previous night. She wanted to try some of it to see if she got a hold of the healing magic that she had learn.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar glanced over at the explosion, and saw something flashing around him, and turned around, just to notice Ra, Ma'at, and Isis coming right at him. He hopped back, as Ra swung down at him. He made a barrier around his arm to use as a shield, and in his other hand, he held a ball of light. He then put his palm out, and it shot out a beam at Ra.
"Why are you doing this?" He ask them, as he watched all of them, ready to strike.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at proceeded past everyone, allowing people to pass by as she used the back of her spear to funnel herself past people, until she arrived at Yeligar.

"Our goal is not to hurt you or your people, we simply have to get through this as fast as possible," she held out her spear, and allowed Ra and Isis to join, looking at Yeligar.

"Stop your use of this...mana, or we will be forced to defend ourselves to the death."

She said it as formally as possible, in order to gain a higher order of respect from this more experienced warrior.

Ma'at looked like she was confident but unsure on how to do battle here, no magical aura was visible on her from Yeligar's position.

[Ulysses Kondo]

Set was looking through the scope of the bazooka, then he notice the man who attacked them. "Green hair... One eye... I wonder if that's him." He said loud enough for Monthu to hear him.

[Monthu]

"Got him."

Monthu lowered his monocle to the back of his string, using it as a sight he nocked an arrow and launched it up into the sky, swiftly reaching back and nocking another arrow he launched it in quick succession to the first. The two arrows collided in mid-air, sending the second shooting down towards Yeligar's shoulder. Maybe if he could damage his arm, he could interrupt his trickery.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"... You want me to to just roll over as you people destroy this town, and terrorize this people?" Yeligar asked them, "What kind of request is that? There are still people here. I know you have at least 5 members attacking me, maybe more, but I have to protect them." He got in a ready position, ready for their attacks.
The arrow hit him in the shoulder causing him to stumble backwards, losing the ball of light in his hand.

[Ra]

Ra used the distraction to run up and jump above Yeligar. He switched his sword style, and then came down at him, aiming for his chest, to kill him quickly. "Spoken as a true warrior, I will grant you the honor as dying as one." He said to the one eyed man.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar quickly pulled up his good arm, and used the barrier to block the strike. He the kicked Ra away, and scrambled to his feet. He looked at his shoulder, and then pulled the arrow out. "I'm not going down this early." He tossed the arrow to the side, and dismissed the barrier spell, and stood there, waiting for an attack.

[Isis]

"Ra, maybe we can just knock him out." Isis suggested, "I mean if we do, then he won't remember us, and we can just continue without any deaths on our hands." She put her hands behind her back. She wasn't comfortable with war, she just wanted to come to heal.

[Ma'at]

Ma'at nodded, "i concur, my physical skills are nothing to this magic-"

She thrusted her spear between Ra and Yeligar so he wouldn't think to counter attack after his kick, getting between them, "We are not attacking to kill- we have a mission to complete and you are simply a step in the road to continue further. I wish no harm to your civilians. Just stand aside."

Ma'at wasn't being unreasonable, she gave him a fair chance, as she spoke, "I see you are an honorable justicar. Just let us complete our mission and continue on."

Her spear was ready, watching Yeligar.

[Ra]

"... I know his kind." Ra said, as he stood up straight. " He is a foolish man, one with foolish ideals. One that needs eliminating. Do not hesitate to kill." He said as he ran towards Yeligar, sword at the side.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar quickly removed his eye patch, and revealed his crystal eye. The crystal started to grow over his body until an armor made out of crystal was covering him. His hand was quickly covered his a shield, and his other one had a sword. He raised the sword and became blade-locked with Ra.
