I nodded. "That's generally the first step," I told her. "But we need to go someplace quiet, where we won't be in the way. It takes concentration, as 'Guo could tell you, and it should be somplace you're comfortable as well."

I give an empty gaze. "I'm comfortable anywhere, really. I am the world... I sleep comfortably in the cool metal here... Any place would be comfortable really." My gaze seems just a little interested in Vash now that I was thinking that this would be fun. "But quiet may be difficult here. Where do you have in mind, blondie?"

'Guo couldn't help but chuckle at the mention of his first experience of communicating with his Lunar Spirit, safe to say, Kerrian was somewhat cynical. Looking across at Vash he gave a shrug. "Well, considering this place is basically floating prison... Surely there has to be a dock or something right? I'm pretty sure we could find an empty one somewhere!"

"The docks... why didn't I think of that!" I grinned. "That would be a perfect place. 'Guo, Ms. Tezuka, follow me!"
I looked back at them, beckoned, and then ran off. The habit of unpredictability was a hard one to break for me, it seemed; I always seemed to fall back on it, probably because the act was one I'd kept up for quite a while.
Oh well. Besides, it kept my students on their toes.

"...I told him not to call me that... I hate it." I grumble, remaining still. Then I sigh and look to 'Guo. "Want to lead the way, then? You're just standing there." Then I get a sly smirk. "Maybe if you behave yourself, I'll let you hold my hand..." I laugh lightly at my own joke before yawning lightly.

"But you... Don't have... Hands..." He stared at her blankly for a moment before the essence of her joke dawned on him.
"OH!" He said, scratching the back of his head with a grin on his face before giving her a nod. "Deal!" He added before setting off after Vash, looking across at Rin he gave her another small smile "And he'll pick up on it eventually... It's like when people call me Anguo! I just sort of want to grab them by the head and shake them... Or in your case, kick them!"

"Heh. I am a good kicker..." I say, deciding not to run. I knew where the docks were, and a nice walk wouldn't hurt anyone. But my attention turns to the clouds as I watch them float around in the sky, a large grey mass. It was upsetting. I wanted to see some blue... But then again, the skies never really were blue here... -- Docks. Water. The water was dark, as always. And down here, the air was chilly. Another yawn escapes me, and a full-body shiver as it adapts to the temperature change. "Alright, Blondie. We're here. Now what do I do? I wanna be a lizard.."

I'd situated myself on the docks, letting the wind and water fill me with an inner calm while Rynsaeth and I exchanged a few brief, silent words. When Rin and 'Guo arrived, I turned and smiled at her.
"Alright. First, sit down and make yourself comfortable. You need to be completely calm in order for this to work well."

"Calm?" I ask once before, quite literally, letting myself fall to the ground. Just sprawled out my back, feeling the cool metal of the docks. It was comfortably wet, too. "Yeah..." A deep breath in, and slowly out. "I could fall asleep right here..." And a yawn proves it. "Is this calm enough? I could be more calm... Or less?"

'Guo can barely contain his excitement as they reach the docks. Hopping on one foot with a grunt, he reaches up to his boot and unfastens it, before doing the same with it's twin. Tossing them aside he sits down on the dock edge and dangles his feet into the chilly, salt water with a small sigh of complacency after a sharp breath first of course. He loved the salt water, not only was it necessary for his daily ritual, but he loved the smell of it as well.

"That's good enough for now," I replied, smiling. She was an odd one, but most Knights were, I supposed. Certainly, my family was quirky enough for anyone's tastes; I didn't see why our Knights wouldn't be, as well.
"I don't know if you know how to meditate," I said, "but I'm not sure meditation would be exactly right for you... 'Guo said you were an artist, correct?" I paused, but not long enough to get an answer. "Most artists have a... a place, I'm told, where they feel perfectly within themselves. That spot that their inspiration comes from. I need you to find that place; can you do that, Rin?"

"...No. My inspiration doesn't exist. Nothing makes me want to paint. I just do. A picture appears in my head, and I paint it..." But I let myself take a deep breath. "Well.... No. Two nights ago, I met a man... I wasn't exactly myself. But he was interested in my painting. It was of the moon..." The image of the moon seemed to relax me a bit more. "...Yeah... I found that place, Blondie."

I smiled.
"We all ahve it," I told her. "It speaks to all of us in different ways. The closer you get to it, the more distant the outer world becomes; some people find it by meditating, otehrs by painting, or singing, or whatever it is that they are good at. That place is deep within the soul. Can you feel it? It might feel like sky, or fire, or the wind... or steel... Don't be afraid of it. And don't be upset if you can't touch it your first try. But if you stop, and listen closely, and be still, you might hear it whispering to you..."

"Feel..." What did I feel? Anything? Everything? Nothing? "What do I... feel...? What would whisper...?" I ask these questions without expectation of an answer. It was more like a verbal thought. I always feel like the sky. Like fire and the wind. Like the grass and the animals. I am the world. But something... beckoned, specifically. More than others. I close my eyes now and open my mind up to whoever may be trying to get in. "I don't know who you are.... or what exactly you want... but I'll listen to you if you speak."

I closed my eyes and sat back, bearing silent witness as Rin mad eher first, tentative connection with Rynsaeth.
I'm always speaking to you, Rin Tezuka, she said quietly. You have simply learned how to hear.
