Aya shook his head and sighed at Rin, as he looked to Kurai.

"You may. But you may not go beyond the town borders without seeing me first."

He smiled, "If you want this to be completely legit and for him to be free, anyway."

Aya however stepped near Shin's father, "Allow me to escort you back to your quarters. This girl shall be taken care of appropriately I assure you."

He gave her a reassuring smile and then helped him up- he was a neutral, law abiding king. That's the role he had to play.

'Guo could tell by Aya's smile that he would do little to nothing against Rin. All the same, he felt his grip around her tighten slightly in a protective reflex, his foot nudging his halberd slightly, for reasons he did not quite understand. He watched Aya help up Shin's father and help him leave, and couldn't help but chuckle.

"You scared him witless..." He muttered with a smile nodding at the unconscious Shin. "I don't know him all too well, but I bet he'll regret missing that."

[Kato Shin]

It was odd - he had been so loud before, but now, he simply seemed numb and lifeless, allowed himself to be escorted away without a second glance back.
