"I'm looking for a man. Tall, wears some unusual clothes, but if you've seen him you'd remember. He has tall, spiky, silver hair and a headband covering his left eye." Itami pointed to his own left eye as he said it, as if it would emphasize the point further. "He was last seen in Chalybs, but I heard he caught a ship to Roccia... I'm just hoping he came to the biggest city..." The old lady whom he'd been talking to, clearly hadn't seemed to have heard him, turning she cupped a hand to her ear.
"Sorry, what was that? Speak up deary, I'm a bit deaf!"
Tami just shook his head with a growl. "Never mind..." He grumbled before wandering off to look on his own...
Kodoku Itami was stood on one of the large towers build into the cities walls, given his training, getting up here hadn't been hard and he could easily escape if anyone thought to question how he'd gotten up here, or why he was here. He had his Sharingan activated, the red eyes scanning the city before him, looking for the one man who had ever managed to nearly fill the void he felt inside himself. Even thinking about the void dragged his thoughts back to the space which needed to be filled.
His family was dead.
It was the Infernus clans fault.
They would pay.
He felt his fist tighten and his brow furrow as he stopped looking for his sensei, his eyes instead just scanning the horizon idly. He had used the Sharingan for nearly 8 years now, and it had little drain on his mana stores. Now that he thought about it, that severe loss... That pain, it had awoken this power, was that the key to it? Pain? No, he couldn't think about that, not now, he was strong enough, right?
The sound of someone approaching behind him led to Tami spinning on his heel, despite teetering on the edge of the tower, and pulling his sword from within his overcoat, pointing it at this mysterious newcomer.

"Whoah, whoa, whoah!" I called, putting my hands up in the universal 'surrender' gesture. "Put the pointy things away! If you wan't, I'll go find a different tower, cross my heart, all that stuff!"
Geez, a guy couldn't find a nice tower to take a nap on without having people point swords at him!
"Geez, all I wanted was a nap..."

"Hmph." Itami said no more as he sheathed his sword underneath his cloak and stared at this odd man for a moment, what sort of person comes for a nap on a tower? Although, he wasn't exactly one to talk, he'd simply come up here to stare out at the city. Sharingan still active, he turned away from Vash and focused his gaze back onto the city.

"Blondie. Come on. I want to train my metal stuff. Get up lazy-bones." I call up the stairs. Arriving at the top, Blondie is sitting there in the "surrender" position, and another tall guy putting his sword away. Death surrendering... to this guy... I sigh. Then the boy turns away. "...Blondie, you making new friends without me? How impolite. Introduce me immediately."

Tami spoke without even looking to the newcomer.
"Names aren't necessary. And he isn't making any new friends. I suggest you both just leave now, save us all the trouble, huh?" He closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath and calming his thoughts, pushing aside the burning sensation of revenge for a moment. Opening himself to the world again, his eyes were back to their usual onyx colour as he turned to the newcomer, an armless girl. Admittedly, not exactly what he'd been expecting.
"Don't fall down the stairs as you go." He muttered coldly.

"...That was rather rude." I comment on him. "Blondie and I have a right to be here, just like you. Or do we? I could be wrong..." I begin pondering. It could be his tower, but that's unlikely. "No, I don't really want to go. I kind of like it up here."

"If you want to go into technicalities..." He muttered, crossing his arms against his chest, and turning his body away from Rin, towards the horizon, his head twisted to the right to look at her. "None of us have a right to be up here. Not that it bothers me." He turned his gaze away from the girl and back onto the horizon, nothing but contempt rested in the glare.
"I suggest it once more. Take your leave, I've got more important things to be doing than wasting time on a pair of fools such as you two."

"...then don't waste your time. You could ignore us, you know?" I give him a serious look. Well, not serious. It was inquisitive, but seriously so. "We have something to do here anyway. If anyone should go, it's probably you, Trench Coat."

"I never thought it would be this difficult to find a place to be alone... Still... I'm in the biggest city in the world, what could I expect?" Itami barely whispered the words as he let out a sigh and once again looked over his shoulder at Rin, his onyx eyes meeting hers.
"I'm sure you could ignore me, you know?" He said, his voice as cold as ice. He was tempted to point out that he had been here first, but that would just be childish, instead, he settled for...
"I like it up here. Like you said. I retain my right to break the law and be up here just as you seem so adamant on doing." These people were really starting to grind on his nerves.

"...well, that's fair, I guess. We can ignore each other, Trench Coat." I turn to Vash. "But if I'm going to train here, should he be allowed to see? I don't really know if regular people should see..." I couldn't honestly remember about how most people didn't believe in Lunar things. And those that did remember them probably didn't like them.

Tami had already turned his gaze back onto the city, and had to strongly resist the urge to blurt out that he was far from normal in his own right. With powers such as the Sharingan and all that it could bring, he was a powerful warrior within his own right. Instead, he simply kept his mouth shut, his cold eyes lingering on Silicis City below him.
Whilst he wouldn't admit it audibly, he was interested in what was so special about this girls 'training', what was so special that 'normal people' weren't allowed to see? Still, he kept his queries to himself, his head turned slightly to the right, as if he was trying to catch a glimpse of what was going to happen.

I sighed. "I just wanted a nap, is that too much to ask?"
Yes.
I wasn't asking you.
"It doesn't really matter. Just don't throw any knives in his direction - tower's big enough for the three of us. Still, I'd hate to get in his way; he seems intent on being rude no matter what we do, though..."

"...I hate it when people are rude." But I always was, whether I meant to or not. I look to the black-coated boy, kind of... analyzing him. "Hey, Trench Coat. Since we're here together, wanna fight? I see your sword."

Tami simply stepped away from the edge, walking backwards he turned to face Rin with those dark onyx eyes. He sneered.
"Like I said, I have more important things to be doing than wasting my time with fools like you two." His gaze seemed to scan Rin for a moment before he continued. "Besides, I doubt you'd want to lose any more limbs, surely?"

"I've gotten along just fine for eighteen years now, haven't I?" I ask as if I expect him to know. There he goes, treating me like everyone else does. Defenseless, weak, crippled little girl. I try and put on an angry face, but it appears more... confused than anything else. "Staring doesn't seem too important. But then again, staring is good sometimes..."
