Something was definitely wrong, that was something that Kodoku Itami had noticed almost immediately after a recent clash with the Lunar Knights. He couldn't quite place it, his enemies had seemed... Weaker, almost unnoticeable in it's nature, but the sharp eyes of this one warrior had picked up on it instantly. It had unnerved him in a sense, he didn't like fighting on completely uneven grounds and he had wanted to look more into it.
So who better to turn to than his newest members, he had a feeling that it was they who had something to do with this, after all, their group had been messing with the mana wells had they not?
"Yeah..." Jin had said to him with a nod. "We were placing these wells, they absorbed all of the mana nearby and I'm pretty sure it transmitted it back to Earth..." He looked across at Maeve. "That's right, right?" She nodded back. This caused Itami to pause for a moment, if they were sending the mana back to Earth and it was having a detrimental effect upon the abilities of the Luanr Knights... This could be more serious than Yami's own personal vengeance at the moment.
"How can we get revenge if we're all dead..?" He had mused to himself as he turned to his group. "Maeve, Jin." He demanded. "Do you have anymore information on these mana wells..?" Suddenly, the female thief smirked. "Actually..." She said, pulling a small device from within her cloak. "I swiped this before we took our leave of Falcon Recon..." Jin raised an eyebrow at the device before grinning. "And see, this is why I love you!" He cried, scratching the back of his neck, before looking across at Itami's blank expression. "This is one of the teleportation devices that Ra was using to get us from A to B... It should still be wired for Earth... If we really wanted to get some information..." Itami raised a hand and cut him off.
"I hate to admit it..." The Kodoku muttered. "But we can't do this alone... The Heroes, do you guys know of them?" Natas nodded but the other two looked blank. "They're a group of warriors, mages etc, they usually battle against anything set to threaten Allorum... This is a threat to Allorum... I'm putting the word out to them, they need to know about this."
-
That had been a few days ago. Now, Yami were stood in a circle around one of the mana wells that had been activated in Vuoto, staring at it's almost mesmerizing power, waiting for the heroes to arrive... He was hoping that they did...

"And just who the hell are you?"
Andy stood behind him, blade in hand, the large cleaver sharpened and glinting in the light.
"I get a message one day some guy called Itami wants to speak with me, only problem is I never of you before. I've had my fill of getting messages from mysterious people, so I ask again: who the hell are you?"

"I'm you're only hope of saving this planet." Itami replied curtly as he turned to face the orange-haired figure behind him. His red eyes glinting slightly as he narrowed them, before giving a casual shrug.
"So your best bet is to drop the act whilst you can, otherwise this is going to get really awkward... Really quickly..."

Andy blinked for a moment...and smiled that battle-craving smile, grip tightening on his sword.
"You know what...I think I am really going to enjoy this-"
"OH NO YOU DON'T!"
Leah Hart finally caught up to Andy, hands on her hips. "Andy how about you LISTEN to what he says before you TRY to fight someone!"
"Leah butt out!" he growled.
"Andy..." she warned tersely, "The other Heroes are going to be here soon so if you're going to fight him at least wait till back up?"
Andy frowned at her, but he did not sheath his sword. "Only hope of saving this planet huh, how so?"

"Well, I'll give the full run-down once everyone else is here... Or rather, my two friends over there will." He gave his head a jerk in the direction of Maeve and Jin. "But in short. These pillars? They're majorly screwing this planets mana system over. We've figured out a way to stop it from happening, we may not be the 'good guys' but we're not stupid enough to want this planet destroyed." He crossed his arms against his chest.
"But like I said, we can worry about the details once we've got a few more people here, I'd really hate to repeat myself too much..."

"'Tis true, having to repeat a message tends to make one weary quickly."
Jasmine Loque showed up having followed Andy and Leah, and having stopped for a few moments to pick from alongside the road ingredients she could make into a potion or ointment for later.
She then flashed a surprisingly cocky grin to Andy as she threw in only a little too excitedly, "I'm here now if you still choose to do something reckless."

"If anyone gets to do something reckless it's ME!" Volkmar said as he came up to the small group, "I got this letter, and Sayara made me leave Lunatopia, and now what's going on?" He wasn't in the happiest of moods, but... honestly when was he?
"Come on, we are here. Beside, I can see Kerrian!" Sayara said as she looked at Volkmar with a gleeful face.
"You slept most of the way here! I had to carry you." Volkmar shouted at her, "I thought Lunars don't get sleepy!"
"I'm allow to get my beauty sleep, but I don't need much of it." She said before she gave a light laugh.

Navarre received the same notes as the rest of the group. His mind was still going over what he saw; an old friend from Earth, Ulysses setting up the mana wells. He walked in the salty land not minding anything, until he saw 2 familiar people; Andy and Leah, making his face going from questioning to happy. "Andy! Leah!" He shouted happily as he ran towards them. "Sup guys?"

A low humming growl sang through the air as Sahir's mighty stead soared over the small group of warriors before circling down nearby. Sahir had come prepared in her "God Slayer" persona, her one hand gripping the reins wrapped around Dral while the other grasped her scythe. Sliding off from Dral's back she drew close to his ear and whispered a few words to him. As she left his side he let out a snort and remained hunched down, watching the others that had gathered.
"It would seem there are those that ask of the God Slayer's aid. For what reason have I been called upon?" Sahir spoke deeply, trying her best to sound mysterious and intimidating. She had recited them over and over in her head during the trip over to Vuoto, and she was proud that she hadn't slipped up at all. Try as she might, she couldn't help but grin to herself. It was times like these she was glad for the veil over her face. If these people were as important as the letter had indicated the last thing she'd want was to come off like a stupid kid.

"As has been said..." Itami said looking across at the figures who had just arrived. "I shall explain more when we have the right numbers..." He did a quick headcount, a good number had shown up, but they needed more if they were going to do this efficiently... If no-one did show up then they would have to make do.

"Sorry I'm late!" A voice boomed throughout the area. Standing on top of a very large rock was Enzio in a 'heroes pose'. His smile was wide and gleaming as he spoke, "I heard you were in need of a..."
"HERO!"
Suddenly Enzio lost balance, wobbling around a little bit before going head first into the ground. The fact he lived is astounding.
"Uhg... a hero... is... here..." he moaned in a weak tone. "Just give the hero like... ten minutes to rest. Kay? cool...."

"Rest up Enzio. Don't want you to die out here." Yeligar said as he walked in with the other members. He looked up, and then at the man with the dark hair, assuming that he was the one that sent the letter to him about the need for heroes.

Long had it been since i had tasted the thrill of true heroism. Peace seemed to be a constant state for this land, one that, once not so long ago, soaked in the all saturating ocean of fear. But hark, for the world cried for heroes once again, and who would I, Bang Shishigami, The Hammer of Justice, be without briskly diving into the void of all consuming darkness, head first, to answer it's call.
Though I was not one to receive one such letter mentioned by the figures that I listened and watched from a distance, no true hero, nay, no true man requires an invitation to perform deeds of heroism! But I cannot blame those who would require one, for not all great seekers of justice and truth could hold fast against the enervating pursuit of such ideals that I, Bang Shishigami, strive towards.
I shake my head though, braking away from thought of my personal endeavours to better concentrate on the important task in front of me; my entrance.
With my cat-like grace, and fox-like cunning, I had infiltrated the scene so as to better ascertain the situation, as any masterful ninja, such as myself, would do. And a wise maneuver it was, for lo, upon a high rock, I bear witness to a heroic entrance, and as any hero knows, the entrance is everything, for how else might a hero spark the hearts and mind of his allies, and inspire them to greatness, whilst, simultaneously, striking fear, as only a hero might, into the souls of dark denizens.
"The entrance had spirit, but no man should be above some flair, and who better then to illustrate such a point then a grizzled veteran, such as myself," I thought as i mentally prepared for my grandiose entrance.
With a halted motion, I duck down, and then leap high into the sky, my form cutting through the air like a masterfully loosened arrow, before descending upon the growingly populated area. With several well placed flips and twirls, I dextrously descend towards the stalwart earth below, and land with a resonating blow to the ground, forcing the ever-sturdy dirt itself to shudder and loosing for even a moment. Posing against the wind as I stand, so that my majestic scarf might take flight in the breeze, I announce dramatically, "Like a bolt that splits the blackened sky, and provides but a glimpse of light in the darkness, I arrive!"
"Who am I, some of you might ask yourselves?" I question aloud, as I glance at my surrounding quickly. "I am he who's fist sweeps across these lands and, like a divine deluge, washes this world of villainy and woe," I announce, striking several more dynamic poses, each one conveying my raw physical prowess and heroic determination. "And like such divine water, nourish the souls of all those that I might come across who thirst for hope! I am the Tsumani of Justice, and the Sky-Splitting Bolt of Truth! I am..." I pause as I take to the air once more, my hands likewise a-flight in a flurry of Ninjutsu symbols, causing a dazzling display of small explosions around my form as a twirl back to the earth below, where I accentuate my finale with one final resounding explosion behind me, my voice calling out to the heavens themselves, "Bang Shishigami!" as I do so.
I hold my pose for a moment before taking a more casual stance amongst my heroic peers, a sparkling grin adorning my stubbled visage.

I looked around, surprised by the large man witht he larger voice, a little impressed by the fact that I was in the company of the Heroes.
I may not have believed in Lunar Knights... but we knew the Heroes were real.
I sighed, thinking back to why I was here with the others.
"Shin... Ignis is only just starting to feel the effects. But when it starts to come down, your power will become unstable. I have reason to believe Itami will be sending the Heroes to Earth; even if mana is being sent there, it'll take a long time for it to build to the point where you'd be unstable. I can't go; there's things I have to do here. Kurai, 'Guo, I don't know if you want to go as well... but if nothing else..."
A hand on my shoulder, carefully - neither of us wanted to repeat the incident in CHalybs.
"Shin, I think it would be good for you. When everything starts to go to Hellious, I want you to be safe."
There'd been something there. I couldn't really tell what it was, but he seemed... conflicted, about something. I still didn't like the guy. But I was here. And if that's where they were going - that's where I'd go.
I touched the band around my arm. THis was going to be... interesting.

Unfortunately, young knights needed experienced knights as babysitters.
You'd never guess who pulled the short straw on that one!
Kurai was stood beside his charges with a book in hand, which he was reading silently. Looking across at Kato who looked rather awed by the presence of the collected heroes, 'Guo on the other hand, seemed to be excited at the prospect of doing something that wasn't just constantly moving... Kurai was just happy to be doing something that wasn't looking after un-trained knights... Oh wait...
Still, there was one upside. Akira had come along with them, for the booze apparently, although Kurai had a sneaking suspicion that 'booze' was a secret code-word for 'Guo'... They'd spent an awful lot of time together recently... Either way, she was generally sane and much more tolerable that the hyper-active 'Guo...
