The non-existant peace [HEROES]

Sahir seemed to calm down once all the noise settled itself. Hearing the black haired man bark commands she suspected he was the one in charge, or if nothing else the rational one in the group.

"I, I ummm..." She cleared her throat and tried to cobble together some of the deep voiced mystery she'd held at the beginning of the meeting. "I mean, I've noticed a strong pull of magic from something like this in Nerezza. This one seems to be reacting equally strong to my blade. All I know is that it never seems to run out of magic. Do you know why these things are here?"

[Kodoku Itami]

Itami completely ignored the comment, from Andy and Enzio at least. He looked across at Sahir.

"They're designed to siphon mana away from Allorum and then transport it back to another planet called Earth... Now, one of the main issues is obviously getting to Earth... And as my friend Jin found out the hard way, destroying the pillars is a bad. Idea. So now we're left with the predicament, what do we do? Our best bet is to go to Earth and stop it all the source, but how to we get to Earth... Well, the resident thief of my little group has the perfect answer to that..."

[Monthu]

"Hey!" Jin called "In my defense, I didn't know the thing was gonna' blow up, the guy would still be alive, and suddenly look like a giant, fuckin', over sized light bulb!" He paused for a moment "W-with wings..."

[Kato Shin]

My eyes narrowed in confusion.

What was he talking about? Hadn't... that Vash guy destroyed the pillar? They hadn't said much when they'd met back up with us in Ignis. I wondered, again, what had happened, before shaking my head and paying attention again.

"Yeah," the woman was muttering. "Nobody said anything about fighting moon gods when I signed up for that job."

"Lunar Knights aren't gods," I spoke up. She looked at me, confused. "We're not gods; we don't even serve gods. The Lunars are simply incredibly powerful spirits, and we serve under them."

At least, that's what I'd been taught, anyway. I still hadn't managed to speak to Valerian... at least, not in the waking world.

She rolled her eyes. "Powerful moon spirit gods, then. Whatever. Still not in the contract."

[Monthu]

"Oh yeah, that makes everything better! I wasn't just fighting a god, it was just only one of those little moon spirit things... Yay." He rolled his eyes derisively. "Anyways, we're falling off track again..." He looked across at Itami, as if allowing him to continue.

[Kodoku Itami]

"Yeah. As I was saying, Maeve managed to get her paws on one of the teleportation devices that the group they were with was using... Meaning that we have a means of not only getting to Earth... But a means of getting relatively close to wherever it is that the people who pieced together Falcon Recon are... So here we are, a group to counter these people destroying Allorum." He looked around. "I won't be joining you. Considering that they've got the most experience on Earth, and they know who you're going up against...." He motioned to Jin and Maeve.

"Monthu and Bast will be leading the expedition..."

[Volkmar Gamlxltoe]

"Don't call Vash a little moon spirit thing! He's my brother!" Sayara was starting to walk toward him, but Volkmar picked her up by her head and held her as she swung her arms at his general direction at Monthu.
"So when are we going?" Volkmar asked as he looked kinda happy. He was waiting for an adventure where he could use his new skill set.

Okay, so Jasmine was lost. Where she'd heard of the odd events of the pillars and this falcon recon thing, she didn't know the specifics and here everyone seemed to be arguing about specifics. And Lunar Knights, another children's fairy tale.

...This was seriously their hero group now? They were going to need all the help they could get if they were all this childish.

She kept her gaze on Sahir, though. Out of everyone, she seemed to be fairly level-headed enough...possibly someone worth getting to know if they were expected to work together.

[Sahir Masbrati]

Like crashing waves slamming down upon her Sahir had no time to react to each strange revelation before another one struck her. Another planet? People from the moon? Gods among her right now? She didn't know whether to demand an explanation or try and slay one of them right here and now. Yet all of the muddled thoughts played without a change of expression, thanks once again to her trusty veil.

"No offense, but this all sounds like insanity to me. Since when could people talk about these sorts of things the same way they'd discuss the weather? Even if I am standing among gods and aliens how would we even begin to fight on a foreign world?" Her eyes surveyed the crowd, looking for anyone who might pipe up with something that actually made sense to her.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

"It's a long story, but I had my involvement with both of these groups. If you told me 2 years ago that I would have been interacting with them, I would have been as confused as you are." Yeligar said to Sahir, "As for fighting on a foreign world, it's just like fighting on unfamiliar territory. You have to be light on your feet, and rely on your abilities. Luckily for us, we have some people from that world, that can inform us on anything that we will need to know how to fight them, even if a fight would happen. We might be able to use diplomacy to settle this." Yeligar said the last part as a little strong, hoping that they could use diplomacy, but fearing that it wouldn't work.

[Andy Jammer]

Andy frowned but kept quiet this time, however when he saw Jasmine's expression he turned to her.

"Whats with that look." he asked her.

[Kodoku Itami]

Again with the talking...

"You'll all leave as soon as everybody is definitely calm. I'd rather both Jin and Maeve come back alive, truth be told... I need their capabilities. So as such, I'd like them to not get a knife in the back." He looked around at the heroes. "So do try to play nice, thank you very much.."

He looked across at Bast and Monthu.

"Are you both ready?"

[Bast]

"Well, I'm ready as soon as they are." She nodded her head towards the gathered group. "They call themselves 'the Heroes'?" she mumbled to Monthu. "Arrogant. ANd cheesy. The kind of thing you'd expect from a bunch of half-grown kids."

"Half-grown kids with big mouths," she amended under her breath.

[Monthu]

"Maeve, sweetie... You pretty much just described me!" Monthu pointed out giving Bast another nudge before making sure his bow and all of his arrows were in the right position. Satisfied with his loadout he nodded across at Itami.

"But yeah, boss... I'm ready too."

[Enizo]

"Listen..." Enzio said pulling his head up and dusting himself off, "I'm always ready. But seeing how there seems to be some strain between us all I believe we should set up some guidelines. We're all equals here. Period."

Enzio stated stepping up to them, "We can't have a team which are constantly looking at each with suspicious eyes. Otherwise I'm going to go grab the AG and finish this job with a team that can work together. Also, if anyone calls me a pawn again, I'm taking a swing at them. I've fought and lost way to many men to be considered like that." He shot Itami a sharp look before looking back at everyone.

"Alright! Woot, I feel good that I got that out. Let's go beat some baddies, GO TEAM!"
