"Perhaps Felios should lock you away in a prison box for awhile and we'll see how well you fare up after you're released! It's quite comfy, completely devoid of all sight and sound, left with nothing but your own thoughts and what's left of your sanity," she snapped back, crossing her arms and resumed a cold, hardened stare, "which erodes with each passing day as you start losing your sense of time, from night and day to days and weeks and months themselves. I had no idea how long it had truly been until you mentioned it just now.
...Two years you say? It's even more pathetic how little you have to show me for it."

Last. thread. snapping...
An explosion of light enveloped the group, faster than it could travel the area Shanira charged at her own elder, kneeing her hard in the chest and sending the older angel almost literally flying backwards into the building she'd been previously standing on. Shanira with fists balled in rage glared at her and stood firmly by the two archangels as she began shouting some more.
"You go away! You are not to be here!! And you," she rounded on Kyoki again, "go with her! We are trying to do some things here! Is important!"
Because for that brief moment, she realized she wanted cuddles and probably would have had that if these two didn't show up to wreck their date thing.

(Guess who's got two weeks off uni? Hohoho!)
Kyoki simply stared at Shanira for a moment. The dull red glow of the wire mesh covering his eyes seemed to pulsate lightly for a moment, fading in and out of view as his masked head turned to look across at Mark. He said absolutely nothing to his fellow archangel, and instead simply stared, his head tilted to the side slightly almost as if in question.
It was very clear that Kyoki didn't plan on doing anything without first hearing from Mark.
"Shall I leave?" He asked, bluntly.

“It may be best if we meet up another time, Kyoki,” Mark added, “Just for the sake of everyone surviving tonight.”
It wasn’t that he didn’t like having Kyoki around – but he liked having Shanira around WAY more. There was certain things she could do that Kyoki simply couldn’t.
As for Mahila, Mark was confused about the ENTIRE situation and wanted nothing more than to get away from it. He didn't say that of course, he was too worried it'd make the angel want to kill him again.

"OiOiOi! Then away I go!" Kyoki cried, seemingly having reverted back to his normal self. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them against each other as if charging up some kind of magic. As soon as he deemed himself ready, he clapped his hands once again, and jumped up into the air. He curled his body into a ball, which seemed to shrink and absorb itself into the mask that covered his face until eventually there was simply a floating piece of bunny-shaped porcelain.
Then, with that done, the mask shattered into a cloud of dust which was carried away on the wind... Leaving the other two alone.

If it was one thing Mahila was actually surprised Shanira hadn't forgotten it was how to land a sure attack on her. Or rather it was the ability to keep herself even the slightest bit collected as she looked to keep Mahila at ease that the girl wasn't going to strike until she laid another comment. Shanira for that moment made her truly believe she could sting her again before she had to prepare for anything; she was never faster than Shanira, that her successor easily had her beat in, so Mahila had to plan her steps ahead of time accordingly and for many years even with a few struggles she always came out the victor between the two.
At least until the last couple of years. Before Bradley's untimely death Shanira beat her once. She beat her again, and she showed the capacity to do so right now, too. If it wasn't for all the pain in Mahila's everything from being buried by bricks and a wall from the small building she probably would have smiled with the assurance of knowing that Shanira was, despite what comments she'd made just previously, more capable than she appeared to be, and for everyone's sake she was glad she made a decent enough call on it to Felios before descending to Allorum. Mahila probably would have thought and treated her a little higher than what she had if it hadn't been for the added presence of these archangels of unknown deities--or rather one unknown, and that was suspicious enough despite his claiming he worked for no one.
She pulled herself slowly from the rubble, a few bricks and stones tumbling down the side of the pile she found herself under and she raised a fist at the blonde girl several feet away. Kyoki may have been content to just leave them unquestioned, but she wasn't.
"What is so important?! What are you doing?!" she called out.

Shanira noted Kyoki and Mark's interactions, concluding that if she wanted Kyoki to do something, Mark appeared to be the boss...which made so much sense considering all the factors she was learning about the two of them...
Now as for Mahila, Shanira only wished she had the authority like Mark did to just order someone to leave and they'd obey. Mahila wouldn't. Mahila was as hard-headed as Shanira was and refused to back down until she had everything she wanted to be content with. Considering the situation Shanira only stared at her elder as she tried to scramble out of the rubble she'd kicked her into.
She grinned something mischievous and without a second thought reached over and grabbed Mark's hand.
"New game," she said to him, "we find the place to hide from her!"

Mark's eyes began to glaze over as Mahila once again demanded more and more information from them. With his thoughts drifting to his happy place, it seemed to take a minute for him to even react when Shanira pulled him along.
"Wait, wha-" Mark stuttered, stumbling like a fool as he was completely dazed by what Shanira wanted him to do. Finally Mark caught on and tried his best to keep up with Shanira, "Hiding!?" Mark called out, "She's a trained killer, don't you think she'll be able to track us down!?"

What was it that Shanira heard from Mark? A lack of confidence? She didn't really have much time to think about it (as if she were going to lose Mahila, she had to go now), nor did she really care to but in the few short seconds that passed after he spoke her mind raced with a few thoughts that made her think she was severely misunderstanding who he was. He was a god hiding out as an archangel, a very well-known archangel it seemed quite popular with a variety of danger and excitement, she would have thought this would have been right up his alley.
Or maybe the situation just overwhelmed him, she wasn't sure. But she stopped abruptly in her tracks, dropping his hand as she whirled around to face him and stared directly in his eyes with a look as fierce as it ever was, her voice a hushed, fearless whisper as she spoke to him.
"You said through Hellious you'd fight for just a kiss. After that I thought you'd be up to this kind of challenge but if you're scared that's fine...I'll just keep this prize for winning all to myself."

On the contrary, Mark didn't much like danger or anything related to it at all - violence, death or sadness. Despite the fact that he could deliver all those better than anyone he had met before. In addition to that, Mark highly disliked those who liked danger and all its ill company...
But there was something about Shanira that changed the way he thought, it was weird, but Mark kinda liked the danger that followed her. Shanira was probably a very bad influence on him...
Mark smiled, "Then to Hellious and back, M'lady." Suddenly his eyes flared up while he held his hands out. The ground around him shook briefly before unleashing intense light through cracks that split parts of the ground. Out of those cracks came 'dragons' (really, it was just light he was manipulating), they flew up into the air and charged right at Mahila. These mostly harmless light dragons harassed Mahila giving Mark and Shanira a perfect chance to flee.

Shanira grinned seeing Mark change his mind on the situation. Where it was still confusing to her, now wasn't the time for inquiry. She eyed the dragon-like light beasts that he'd summoned, a tickling giggle barely escaping her as she watched them dive for Mahila.
She grabbed Mark's hand again with a grip that assured she had no intention of letting him go, her eyes alive with reckless excitement as she said, "Then hang on and let's go!"
Shanira tore off, pulling Mark along with her and back into the gathering crowds through the center streets. A lap or two through the city, then they'd have to leave and find somewhere outside to crash for a bit. If Mahila was distracted already then they shouldn't have needed more than that to escape for awhile. It reminded her of the old days!

"Oh no, you--!"
Mahila pushed through the heavier bricks and stones faster as she caught the two of them trying to make a run for it. If Shanira got out of sight now, it wasn't impossible to find her but she'd have the advantage. Though just as Mahila thought she was ready to pursue them that was when the dragons came down at her, forcing her to direct her attention on them. Shanira alone? Not a problem. Random archangel whose skills she'd never seen before became a large problem as she'd noticed.
Mahila whipped her bow out, despite her own injuries her movements were still graceful and poised as she began launching arrows and doing battle with these irritating beasts.
"Shanira!" she growled, "when I get a hold of you...!!"
Mahila was distracted, the other two fled, and Mahila's list of questions grew as much as her annoyance for the whole situation had.

Mark stumbled a bit at first as he tried to adapt to Shanira's speed, but he quickly caught pace. Now he wasn't so sure what the entire plan was - or if she even had a plan - but Mark was going to risk asking, "Where do we plan on hiding?" Mark asked before adding, "My place isn't far from here-"
He quickly stopped himself from speaking further as he realized how that might be taken. "Well, I mean, uh..." he had trouble enough formulating a sentence, but it was even harder as they ran through the streets at top speed, "Yeah, I'll just let you pick where we're going."

Shanira whipped along out of sight, for a moment enjoying the peacefulness a good blinding run brought but she missed nearly everything Mark said to her as they moved. She heard vaguely about him and a 'place not far from here' and took it as him having a good idea. Good, he was contributing to this, he was worth keeping around!
Her heels dug into the ground and brought her skipping to a stop. She turned back to face Mark, hands gripping urgently at his arms.
"Where you say? You say we're close?"

Shanira's stop took Mark by complete surprise, causing him to fumble and crash straight into the Guardian. Thankfully, as Mark fell into her he quickly threw his hands out to catch the ground before he crushed the poor girl.
Mark stared wide eyed at her before quickly sitting up, "Are you okay?" He asked, afraid that when he slammed into her he might have knocked Shanira out or something!
