"Oh, yeah..." Mark blinked, the thoughts of a very frustrated Alexander storming around the castle made him smirk. Not that he had anything against the guy anymore, but there was something about Alex that annoyed Mark... it was probably his face!
Mark chuckled to himself as he put his arm around Shanira, "I feel sorry for the little guy," He didn't, "But I'm sure he'll be fine!"

"He might give me a scolding..." she said it, but she didn't seem too upset about it. Almost like she was used to it by now.
"He is fine, I can feel it. He is probably very much happy without me 'wrecking things'. I'm not allowed in the library anymore, he says. And I'm not allowed to touch the piano. Or the statues around the castle, or the pictures on the walls, or his writing desk--especially his writing desk. Or the stove--I'm not allowed anywhere near the cooks at all either, actually," she shrugged, talking into his chest, "I'm not allowed to have sweets, either. I like the crepes but I don't get those unless I behave. Master has a lot of rules for me to follow now that I'm not the fox."
She looked up at him and smiled, "What about you? Do you follow any rules? Or I guess if you're supposed to be Solaris do you just make them? What's that like?"

Mark had to blink a couple times as she spoke about all the things she wasn't allowed to do. For the most part it sounded like it was for her own good, but Mark couldn't help but feel somewhat angered at how caged up she sounded. Not to mention she kept calling Alexander 'master', which only seemed to bother him more.
He decided not to voice his thoughts and instead moved to respond to her questions.
"I don't know..." Mark admitted, "I mean, I do what I think is right. I don't take orders from anyone, so I guess I make them up as I go along." Mark was aware that at a point Solaris controlled a fair bit, but that wasn't how it was anymore - Felios controlled what Solaris had and Mark had no motivation to take it back.
Mark lightly ran his hand through Shanira's long hair as his drifted into his thoughts, until he snapped himself out of it when he remember what Shanira had mentioned in her very long list of things she couldn't do, "Whoa, wait, did you say you were a fox?"

"Make them up as you go along..." Shanira repeated, thinking how neat that sounded to basically just do as you pleased. She did all sorts of things she thought was right, and a lot of the time it seemed people just told her she was wrong. It frustrated her, though Alexander was the only one she ever forgave and accepted that he was right because...well, he was Master! And he knew all sorts of neat things she didn't. She at least accepted that if she didn't understand it was best to listen to him, even if it seemed unfair at points. Everyone else like Mahila? Bah! Who needed their rules?
Though as Mark brought up the 'fox', Shanira giggled. She sat up attentively, head cocked to the side as she looked at him with big, enthusiastic eyes...
"Yes!" she announced, blinked, furrowed her brows, "I-I mean, no! I mean..."
She tapped her finger on her lip carefully in thought as she tried to find the way to best word it.
"I am not really a fox! This is me. I live in Heaven, and I know how to fight if Felios needs me to...in Heaven. We guardians of the family go through a meditation that lets us physically stay in Heaven and we show up on Allorum as a fox. The foxes are our avatar, we protect our masters on Allorum this way. If the fox dies, we do not because we are still sitting in Heaven! It's Felios's way of protecting us so we can protect our masters...you understand so far?" her head rolled to the other side as she continued, "Felios always tells us never to leave. We should never leave his kingdom--I asked him once, he told me I especially shouldn't. My master needs me, he has no heir, he is very valuable so it's important I look after him. But when my master is in danger and my fox is too weak, I decided to just leave Heaven anyway. It was only supposed to be for a bit, just so long so Felios didn't know..."
She grinned stupidly, then.
"B-but I like it, here. Felios always says 'my little Shanira, don't ever leave my kingdom because there are too many evil things out there that will get you if you do.' He always said Solaris minions were still around, and they would trick me into earning my trust and do bad things to me and my master," she didn't realize how much she'd really just babbled, but she ended it with a shrug of her shoulders and a, "after meeting you I think Felios is old and crazy. He is good but he is paranoid."

Minions! Mark thought, the idea of him having 'minions' at his feet made him smirk, it was a ridiculous idea!
But as Shanira spoke it became clearer to Mark that MAYBE he should be keeping a better eye out for Felios and HIS minions. Mark could remember when he was young there were many Archangels keeping Felios and his soldiers away from him, the angels would go to great lengths to keep Mark hidden from Felios's view in fear he'd try to finish the job.
"So wait, Felios doesn't even know you're here?" Mark questioned before shaking his head, "Not with me, that's a given, I mean here on Allorum?"

Shanira was quiet for a few moments, staring at Mark the whole time as she mused over her whole ordeal. She never quite realized until now that Felios did an awful lot to convince her to never step out of the boundaries he'd set for her, always to the extreme of 'Solaris is something to be feared', which didn't work on Shanira anyway as she viewed herself as an entirely fearless being. She wasn't scared of anything, beast or god alike! Sometimes the stories would make her want to leave more, just to show how much better than all the other angels she really was.
But then as Felios would say, there was nothing here on Allorum for her aside from her master. She'd be alone, there was no point. And to an extent or so she'd experienced, he was right about that one. Felios was right, the only things out of the safety of his kingdom were loneliness (as the mortals had issues talking to her), her master, and Solaris. What she hadn't expected and somehow she doubted Felios did either was that her loneliness factor was remedied by a very tame Solaris--or as it were, the archangel that contained him. It was something she was certain should it reach him, Felios wouldn't care how 'nice' he was, Solaris was Solaris, no matter how it was told to him.
As Mark said, it was very obvious that Felios didn't know that she was with him, thankfully so. As for being on Allorum...she finally just shrugged.
"I don't know," she said simply, "gods know all sorts of things, don't they? Though if he doesn't, Mahila knows I'm here so I can't imagine it won't take long before it's known about. I don't want to go back, though. If I'm here and he's in Heaven he can't really make me do anything anyway."
She laid down beside him, combing through his hair with her fingers and studying his face for another minute or so before saying, "You know for a big scary, vengeful god, you're really not at all. You really are just 'Mark', aren't you? The demon-slayer, not scared of anything. You're not scared, are you?"

"Afraid of Felios?" Mark had fears, many of them somewhat irrational, but Felios wasn't one of them. Mark was beginning to grow more aware of him but there was still a certain feeling of invincibility when it came to fellow celestial beings, they had too much to loose fighting each other, right?
"I'm not afraid of him," Mark scoffed before glancing over at her, he couldn't help but think how beautiful she was... and than he wondered how much trouble they'd get in being together, "Are you?"

Shanira's smile brightened hearing his attitude towards Felios, something that at least assured her he was confident, and confidence is what she found attractive anyway. But maybe that was because it was an issue with gods, who knew.
"There is nothing I fear," she spoke automatically, simple enough of an answer, "I think this is why I like you as much as I do, too." She reached over and grabbed hand, giving it a light kiss and resting his palm on her cheek.

CRACK
A massive hole suddenly burst in the roof of the home, spewing forth a torrent of dust, wood and general debris, as some kind of heavy package fell onto the ground with a heavy thud. The dust lingered in the air for a brief moment before the sudden new ventilation that the house had swiftly received started to clear it all out, revealing a single figure lying on the floor, face down in a heap, with their rear sticking up in the air... The distinct broken and chipped ears sticking from in front of their hair were a tell-tale sign that it was...
"IT'S OKAY! KYOKI IS FINE!" He called, his voice muffled by having it buried in the floor as he picked himself up and started brushing down his white cloak, which seemed not at all dirty given the fact that he'd just fallen through a roof. "Man! It will take me forever to wash out all of this dirt... Maybe if I had a pony I'd be able to ride here instead and be far more accurate in where I show up. I would also own a pony... Which is a bonus..."

As the roof crashed under the weight of Kyoki and came falling down right in front of the two, Mark's first action was to reach for his side where his blades usually would hang, but seeing how they weren't there he instead raised his hands to prepare to fry the intruder.
It became clear that intruder was Kyoki, which actually seemed to anger him more than it being some random pervert!
"K-Kyoki!?" Mark yelled in disbelief, "Wha-, did you just... DID YOU JUST CRASH THROUGH MY ROOF!?"
Mark stood up and pointed at Kyoki. IT DIDN'T MATTER IF MARK WAS NAKED, HE WAS PISSED.

Shanira leaped up onto her knees as Kyoki fell through the ceiling, seeing Kyoki as the cause of the disruption immediately made her go from curious (if not a little irked that they were interrupted rudely) to giggly, for so, so many reasons. She clung to the bedsheet around her and threw it over her shoulders, curling up into a ball where she watched the two men yell about the room.
An audible giggle was heard from her as she watched Mark march around in his birthday suit and scold Kyoki. Not that she was complaining or anything.
"You are not good at timing," she pointed out to Kyoki, remembering his first appearance wasn't very convenient, either.

Kyoki let out a terrible scream as he raised his hands to his masked face and backed away from Mark. Not that he was afraid of his wrath or anything... It was just...
"MARK! YOU'RE NAKED! YOU'RE NAKED! ARGH! NAKED! ARGH! WHY?! MY EYES! OH GODS, SAVE ME~!"[/i] He suddenly dropped his arms and started laughing hysterically at his own sense of humour, before pausing, letting out a deep sigh, and then a 'hm'.
"Y'know... For an Archangel, you're not all you're cooked up to be." Said oh so matter-of-factly, in a way that only somebody as completely crazy and innocent as Kyoki could efficiently pull off. He waved in the direction of the bed sheets "HELLO TO YOU MRS. THREATEN-PEOPLE! I WAS SPEAKING TO YOUR SLIGHTLY SCARIER FRIEND EARLIER!"

"K-K-K," Mark was so lost for words that his eye started to twitch a bit as he simply pointed and stuttered for half a minute, "It's cold in here! SO DON'T JUDGE ME!"
Mark desperately looked around, "For the love of the gods, where is my pants!?"

Shanira kept curled up comfortably under the sheets, giving Kyoki a little wave as she watched the two of them argue back and forth, though not entirely understanding Kyoki's comment about Mark being "cooked up".
"He did not cook," she said confusingly, her gaze took her around the floor to seek out that which Mark so desperately searched for at the moment.
"You threw those..." she mumbled, crawling under the bed and reappearing on the other side, "maybe they're out the window..."
She didn't know, she wasn't a pants manager.

"O-Out the window?" Mark repeated before taking a brief moment to just slap his face in annoyance. He walked over and leaned out the window to try and get a good look where they'd be - sure enough, they were flowing in the wind from a tree branch as if it was a flag!
'Could this get any worse?' Mark asked himself, and sure enough... it did. Off in the distance Mark could see someone slowly moving closer to the house, it was hard to tell at first, but than sure enough his worst fears came true!
Oh god it can't be... Mark thought to himself as the person came closer to the house, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING.
Mark quickly backed away from the window and slammed it shut, as if it would help this nightmare go away. He turned back to the two and casually said, "Well... uh... my daughter is here."
Mark may look calm right now, but he's actually on the verge of a panic attack.
