"A family?" Hala started, showing her signs of discomfort again, "uh...well, I have my mum and dad. Mum makes dinner and reads a lot, and teaches me to read and make potions. Daddy usually gets up and leaves during the day and mum will put the laundry out so I know when to come home from playing for lunch and helping with the chores. Mum is usually tucking me into bed for the night when Daddy comes home..."
She trailed off, raising one of her fingers to her lips and biting at the nail.

"See, we don't need to make a baby!" Yeligar shouted at Eva.
"They already had one!" Eva shouted back, then she look at Hala, "Sorry, but you know how men are; Afraid of babies."
"She doesn't need to hear this, but you can play with us." Yeligar said as walked to the 'house.'

Hala blinked, watching them walk back to their 'house'. She giggled again and followed along, playing with them couldn't hurt, especially if they invited her to.
"Oh~" she said, setting her basket down by the 'door' as she entered the house, "if you're going to have children, you should have a nanny to help look after them! Mind if I apply for the job?"

"Oh, yes!" Eva said, "We can sit and talk and then nag at Yeligar when he is late coming home from work." Yeligar just sighed, "Maybe I stayed at the bar because you nagged at me!" He stuck out his tongue, then Eva slapped the helmet. "We could talk about what is under that piece of metal over his eye. I bet you still have the eye!"

Hala giggled and did a polite curtsey to Eva.
"Of course, milady~ I shall do as you ask. I'll go make dinner for when Lord Yeligar gets home--when is your next child due?" she asked as she pretended to sweep the kitchen and stir the stew on the stove.

"Any day now." She said as she rubbed her belly. Yeligar just stared, at them.
"I guess I should get some fire wood." He said as he left the house. Eva then walked over to Hala, and sat on a stump. "So, what do you think of Yeli?"

Hala stopped playing for a moment and played with the folds of her skirt as she answered, "He is a shy person..."

"Yea, he is just shy around us women is all." Eva said, "He is trying to be chivalrous, like those knights in the storybooks. But the hardest part for him to do is to be a ladies' man. Personally, I like torturing him about it. When he comes back, you want to help me?"

"You really like teasing him, don't you?" Hala giggled, "if it's all in good fun it's not so bad...it could be fun. He doesn't get upset easily, does he?"

"No, and if he does, he won't hit us, he will get mad, and storm off." She said, " He used to play knights together, but since I got a small cut from that stick, he has never forgiven himself for it. I wish he would so we can do some of the other games we used to play. So, I tease him, and hopefully, it will make him play some of the games we used to play. It worked twice before."

"Awww, he is a gentleman then!"
Hala took a seat on the ground on her knees, straightening out her dress around her so it would not get too dirty or wrecked as she continued, "but he should let you play and be a knight. I'm not allowed to be a knight in real life, so all I have is to pretend to be one when I play. It's not fair otherwise..."
Her eyes trailed to the sky for a moment before she glanced back at Eva with a big smile.
"We should be knights! This could be our castle and we have to protect it!"

"YES!" She said happily. "Lets get to the top, the forces from Chalybs are attacking the castle!" He picked up a curved stick and ran to the top. She was thousands of squares, each of them having over a 200 men. "Sir Hala, the forces are coming, you almost ready?" He pretended she had a bow, and pretended to fire it at the soldiers.

Hala giggled and grabbed a large stick herself, joining Eva at the top and 'firing' at the enemies.
"Let's take them all out, Captain Eva! We have to protect our castle!!"

Eva aimed at the more 'troops' and they fell like dying leaves. "You are you doing over there?" She yelled as she fired 2 arrows at the same time.

Hala laughed, really getting into the game. She flailed her arm with the stick, continuing to 'shoot' her targets.
"Look at that, I just took out two of them with one arrow!" she announced proudly, then looked over with a sudden frown on her face, "uhoh, I think they're bringing in their tougher men...what do we do!?"
