Zee had woken at the pantry door, only to find some rat-repellant around him. Hmmm...was he doing stuff he couldn't remember now? That was not bugging him now, something else was. Zee got up and went outside. Mabye only half an hour had gone by after he had fallen asleep. He walked over to profeta, awake as he ever was, which wasn't that much awake. "Ma'am, Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Hmm, well that is rather unfortunate. But you can't rush situations like this. It is better to plan ahead and then execute something with definite results then brashly run ahead with nothing to back you up."
Pausing for a moment, he suddenly takes to heart what Jasmine had said about the inner workings of their group and smiled at the idea brought on by it.
"On a tangental note, I guess I've found my sub-grouping in this band of heroes. If it is not too problematic for you and your cohort, would you mind if I joined you in your ventures? I assure you I may be a little rough around the edges when it comes to combat, but my mental acuity should more than make up for that shortcoming. What say you, Miss Loque?"

Jasmine nodded.
"You are very wise, Mr. Owen. For that you have my respect, and I see no issue in you joining us. I'm sad to say that I, too, am not quite so mighty in battle as my friends are, but sometimes it is not the strength or physical skill that will win you a battle. I look forward to working with you."

Romulus' eyes lit up to Jasmine's agreement.
"Wonderful! And don't feel bad Miss Loque, for a keen mind gives a blade it's true edge. Mental acuity is as much a part of fighting as physical prowess, or at least that's what I've been told. Now what's say we take a proactive role and be on our way. I'm sure there are many things to be done and a shorter amount of time with each passing second to do them. Our duties await us, so let us venture forth to complete them!"
Romulus was getting excited, his body feeling a rush of energy as he came to realize that task set before him. The road ahead would be wrought with danger and discovery, but such a notion was what excited Romulus. For a moment, he steeped himself in past memories of his experiments, his work with his colleagues and the difficulty proposed by his work, before returning to the present moment. Giving his head a shake, he looks at Jasmine as he brushes the hair off his one eye, waiting eagerly for her response.

His eagerness seemed to rub off as Jasmine started getting that determined look in her eyes. She straightened herself up and checked into the bag that hung over her shoulder, making sure she didn't need to stock up on anymore supplies.
"I think that would be a wonderful idea. We can't rush foolishly into trouble, but at the same time we cannot sit here and watch it happen. I...I ask that we stop by the Shimmering Lake here first before we go. There's 'someone' I want do want to visit, i-if it's not too much trouble," as she spoke, her voice dropped a bit as 'someone' was really her mother's grave.
((lol, they don't really need to make the trip out there--I'm just tying two or three threads together with this =p we could have them start posting together out in like, Unda for all I care XD))

"But of course," Romulus replied, his mind to focused on possible future events to notice the slight dip in Jasmine's tone. "I would ask that you lead the way, Miss Loque, as my memory is sadly not so keen when it some to directions."
